THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, COMPLACENT STAFF EVER!!! I've been going to this CVS pharmacy for years because it was conveniently located and I didn't want to change where my doctor called in my meds. It never falls. EVERY-TIME (no exaggeration, really!) something is wrong with getting my meds. They text you and say your meds are ready and there not. Miss communication with my doctor and the pharmacist happen all the time. I started calling ahead to made sure all my meds are in and I'm on hold forever! I called Monday to see if my meds were in and I waited on hold for 47 minutes. While on hold I decided to drive to the pharmacy. When I got there there was a long line and I could hear the pharmacy phone "you have one call waiting". That was me. I finally got to the counter (1hr 12 minutes on hold) and hung up my phone. Of course there was a problem with my meds and the pharmacist was on lunch. They texted and said my meds were ready but weren't. They never answered the phone and wanted me to wait another 20 minutes until the pharmacist was back. I had it! I called my doctor and had my meds transferred to the CVS in willow glen. I called the willow Glen pharmacy and they said my meds would be ready at 6pm. I went to that pharmacy and they said they couldn't fill them (after telling me my meds would be there). Apparently, the CVS in Campbell filled them and the Willow Glen pharmacy couldn't without the Campbell meds canceled. No one told my doctor or myself this issue until I drove to the willow Glen pharmacy (remember- they told me they would be READY at 6pm). It's a mess. 2 trips to each pharmacy (4 total) without getting my meds, several phone calls, literally hours of being on hold, and no meds. My wife ended up picking them up the next day. Just a total mess and they didn't care. I wouldn't recommend ANY CVS pharmacy but definitely not the bascom ave one! read more

This pharmacy here is garbage. It's extremely slow, and they are always out of stock - oh you want your medicine? Sorry, you're going to have to wait an entire week to get it. That's fine for refills, but when you're actually sick it unacceptable. read more

No idea how this pharmacy functions. Constantly waiting in line to pick up for at least 20-30 minutes. It is insane. There are elderly people waiting very long times. People with mobile orders will cut in line and that is acceptable. This place is terrible and I thought our previous CVS was the worst, but this might top that. read more

This place is NOT AT ALL HANDICAPPED / DISABLED FRIENDLY .....I'm temporarily on crutches They don't have ANY ride on carts like at all ,the store doesn't provide them . So I'm carrying a hand basket sideways and partially angled to grab my hair stuff ...4 staff members walk right past me ,don't even acknowledge my existence and are heavily engaged In a conversation with each other . I go to grab my stuff which is on bottom shelf ( I'm on crutches I can't bend my knee to get down and grab it ....) Eventually after doing partial splits and using 1 crutch I was able to grab my stuff . I proceed to go to the register line . 3 DIFFERENT EMPLOYEES ( it seemed as though a shift change was going on ) LOOKED RIGHT AT ME AND MADE A SHARP TURN DOWN A DIFFERENT AISLE ..DIDN'T OFFER TO HELP ME DIDNT EVEN SAY HI ,the stuff fell out of the hand basket ...NO ONE CAME TO HELP ME PICK IT UP ,BUT INSTEAD WATCHED ME STRUGGLE TO PICK IT UP .( I'M IN THE FRONT OF THE STORE AT THIS POINT ) . I hobble my way to line The guy in front of me offers to hold the basket for me ,carry it to the counter and let me go infront of him ...thx dude ...good lookin out ...I get to the counter ,I'm setting my crutches down to grab my back pack to get my cvs card the cashier (WHO HAS YET TO MAKE EYE CONTACT OR EVEN GLANCE MY DIRECTION) ( she's too busy having a conversation with another Co worker) asks me twice for my cvs card. Yeah hang on ,I'm getting it ,oh sorry Scans my stuff ( I have 4 hair products and a couple bags of candy ) asks me if I want a bag ...WTH DO YOU THINK IM ON CRUTCHES ,OF COURSE I WANT A BAG ,I CANT CARRY IT WITH OUT A BAG ... Then I ask her to charge me for another bag of candy as they are buy 1 get 1 free and I had a coupon....She says I need to know which ones you want .. .one more of those.... I'll get it when I leave I'm on crutches and can't grab it rn ... I need it to scan it .. ..It's over there and you have it on the counter right there .... Scans it ..... After all was said and done another employee finally grabbed the other 2 bags of candy for me ( ty ) I bag them myself and the cashier is standing there looking at me like can you hurry up we have a line ... I have to put away my wallet in my back pack ,put on my back pack ,put my stuff in the bag ,grab my crutches and grab the bag ....she said nothing...not bye ,have a good night ,get out of this store ...not cam I help you outside nothing ....y'all need to RETRAIN your employees to help people who CLEARLY need it ......This store is a joke ...these employees clearly don't care about customers and just trying to get a paycheck ...SHAME ON YOU CVS YOU SHOULD BE HOLDING A HIGHER STANDARD THEN THAT ..... read more

While the pharmacy staff is great, they are chronically understaffed. Today it was a 20 minute wait to pick up my prescriptions. One pharmacy tech was working two registers to try speed things up. read more

Disgusting. There were piles of human feces on the floor, and staff were totally content to let it sit there for at least 30 minutes without even putting up a cone. Several unsuspecting shoppers stepped in it just in the time I was there, grinding it into the carpet. Easily the most disgusting shopping experience I have ever had. read more

Old lady with the red bob haircut and smoker's teeth needs to chill tf out. A lady in the same aisle as me was looking at lashes along with me. She got someone to help. I waited outside the aisle and this old lady rudely approached me and said "I'm coming, I'm coming!" impatiently. Mind you, I smiled at her and was politely waiting. So you can imagine my shock when she was so rude to me. I understand the store is busy. Then she tells me I have to get in line to ask her to unlock the lashes for me. AS SHE IS ALREADY DOING IT FOR SOMEONE NEXT TO ME IN THE SAME AISLE. There is a super long line and you're gonna tell me I have to get in line and wait 30+ minutes for lashes to be unlocked from the aisle WHEN YOU'RE LITERALLY DOING IT FOR ANOTHER LADY AS YOU'RE SAYING THAT? YOU'RE GOING TO UNLOCK HER LASHES AND THEN TELL ME TO WAIT IN LINE? REALLY? YOU WANT ME TO WAIT OVER HALF AN HOUR ON FRIDAY NIGHT SO YOU CAN BE A GIANT DOWNER? No. I'm sorry. I come here a LOT. And yes, the other lady waiting for her lashes was light skinned. Due to the fact that my skin is dark, I wouldn't be surprised if this was also racially motivated. I'm not doing that BS anymore. CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Campbell, California

I get called up to the cash register and immediately ask if I can get cash back. Jasmine responds and says her register is short so she needs to get change from the safe. I said I only need $12. She responds and says she doesn't even have that in the till. So I wait a real 10 minutes for her to slowly get cash from the safe and refill her cash drawer. I quietly wait as she empties out each roll of coins and sorts her cash. She thanks me for my patience and rings me up. I get to the portion where I need to request cash back but it only allows me to get $20. I asked can I please get a 10 and two fives. She responds that she is not a bank and they can't do it. I said that doesn't make any sense because I just waited for her to refill her drawer to get cash back. She said she's sorry she can only give me the $20 bill because there is a coin shortage and closes the drawer. Perhaps next time this "manager in training" can respectfully tell your customers they can't give cash back, that the cash is reserved for change because there's a shortage instead of wasting my time. Her disrespectful comment "were not a bank" was unnecessary. I politely asked if I could get cash back before the transaction started because I'm very aware that CVS is not a bank. read more

I was visiting family in Campbell - I live in North Carolina. The medications I take are critical and I left them behind in a hotel and didn't realize it until I was on the plane to California. A young lady named Sandy helped me get the Rx from my home pharmacy but there were some issues that came up (none of which were her responsibility or fault). She spend a lot of time, going above and beyond her normal duties to help get my prescriptions for me. She was kind, empathetic and caring about my situation. I am grateful for all she did for me. I can't comment on the pharmacy that others seem to have so much trouble with but for general stuff it's not horrible. Just not great. They actually have a surprisingly large amount of trendy cosmetics like Nyx and Milani, and difficult to find items like Vichy Dermafinish.. which is fantastic as a concealer for scars, redness or acne. In other departments though - I just never expect to find exactly what I want.. I always end up with something "good enough".. Like, if I've run out dish soap or something and this is the only place open. It's conveniently located a few doors down from Whole Foods Campbell, so at the very least parking is plentiful. read more

My husband came in looking for the gift cards and kindly asked the nearest associate for directions to where they were located. "LAURA " so rudely replied, "Excuse me? I'M busy here !!!" When all she had to do was point in the direction of the gift card area. Ofcourse this was not the 1st time this has happened here with us being brown and Laura being caucasian, yet she began to attend caucasian customers immediately and did so with no attitude towards them. Why does it smell in this store today?? When I brought up the smell to the cashier, she looked at me as though there was no problem. She said she'd let the manager know, but when I was checked out, and walking away, I over heard her ask the next customer if the store smelled "like yogurt". Very rude. I again replied "it smells in here. Like yogurt". I was just trying to help. Went to the Munute Clinic for shingles and flu vaccines. Quick and easy kiosk checkin. The tech Gif was attentive and friendly, and administered both shots with minimal discomfort. Insurance covered everything. Great experience and I'll definitely return! read more

When I saw that CVS was remodeling Longs, I cried. Yes, for real. I cried. CVS has ruined a formerly top-notch business and turned it into a gigantic convenience store that happens to have a pharmacy. I get my prescriptions here and they have not messed up, but I will say the attitude from the pharmacy folks since CVS took over took a huge nosedive. I walked up to the counter around 8am - no other customers in the pharmacy area. The pharmacist looked at me from the back room, and then said, "I'm kind of busy right now." Um... no. That's not how you treat your customers. Yeah, I'm sure he was busy but isn't he there to serve me? Is this not a business that serves customers? I told him I was too but could I please pick up my RX? The rest of the place has turned into a junky, cheap feeling store. I realize that CVS as the new owner needed to rebrand the store. It's just too bad that their branding is so dated and cheap feeling. Prices are higher too, and the shelves feel jumbled and not well-stocked. It's too bad because this is the closest pharmacy to my house, and all my prescriptions are there. I miss Longs so much. I hate CVS and am seriously considering switching back to Walgreens, which isn't a whole lot better in terms of clutter and cheap feeling. *sigh* read more

One of the cleaner and less ghetto CVS pharmacies I've been to in the Bay Area. Only odd thing, that I actually don't mind. The floors are carpeted. Weird huh? Haha. Everything here is organized and well-stocked too. Staff is friendly and speaks English (well the ones I spoke to). Another good thing, open 24 hours. Ran into this location last night after hitting up Aaron Brothers next door. I was craving an cold coke so i headed towards the fridgerators. 1.77 for a 20oz geeze CVS! I grabbed the coke and headed towards the register. I was one of 5 people waiting in line which is a lot for a store this size. When i finally arrived to pay they had two more clerks come and help the line. The girl who was ringing up people at my line was not friendly at all. It looked like she had a lot on her mind. An associate named Brian about 5'10 reiterated multiple times do you want me to re-ring everything up give you your extra bucks off your purchase; as if this was really going out of his way. After I showed him my email stating I had extra bucks and clicked in front of him for it to transfer to my account, it didn't show up on his screen. I said I showed you step by step sending it to my account, could you please honor it because I received it at 5am today. To make a customer feel embarrassed that they are asking to use a reward that the company offers is wrong. The company needs to either change that the reward doesn't show up after all items are rung up or the associate needs to be patient, since it's their job to make the customer happy. read more

This CVS is the BEST! Specifically Mike the manager, Michael, and the lovely young female cashier working the evening shift on 9/13. My best friend turned 21 today and we had called over 10 CVS' looking for a limited edition Hello Kitty plush. Mike was one of the only ones to take the time out and check for us. He let us know that he had a few in stock and let us choose from the variety when we got there. He made us laugh and really helped to make my best friend's birthday so special. CVS Pharmacy - Campbell This CVS is the closest and most convenient drug-store near my work, so I often go there once a week or so. Most of the cashiers and staff are fairly friendly; however, this is the slowest place known to man!!! I have seriously waited in line for 10 minutes when the line is only three people deep. It seems as if none of the workers have a sense of urgency at all. If you want to get in and out in less than 10 minutes, do not go here! read more

I hate giving out bad reviews but this place is filthy. The second you walk in you just notice how old/dirty the floors are.. Feels like you're walking into a drugstore not renovated since the 80s. The first time I came here I waited 15+ minutes to buy two cans of soup. The cashier didn't know how to do a money gram and there was no one else in sight. This last time I went back...it was slightly better..The line was long with only one cashier. The cashier was friendly and it was probably out of her hand. The employees I interacted with here are friendly and helpful. I just think they are understaffed here.... read more

I have to give these guys credit...they really have tried to make the pharmacy better. They have had my medications ready, on time, for about a year now (every time! Yay!) and they have been helpful when I have had difficulties with insurance or a doctors office. I also really like the staff they have now-all of them are personable and funny. I also have watched them kindly explain very simple things to very stupid and angry people. I don't know how they do it. I knew they had vastly improved and I needed to leave another review, however, when a CVS pharmacy member personally called me to let me know something was amiss with this doctors office I was dealing with (don't even get me started!) and what they (as in CVS) were doing to fix it. CVS was more helpful than my private practice doctor-I was seriously touched that these guys had called to give me an update on a sticky situation and that they were taking the steps to fix it. I made an appointment to get a flu shot from this CVS pharmacy. I received a confirmation email confirming my appointment. When I arrived during my scheduled time slot I was informed that they were only providing flu shots to individuals over the age of 65. It would have been great to know that when scheduling the appointment... or at least receive a phone call letting me know they couldn't fulfill the appointment before driving all the way down there and risking exposure during a global pandemic... read more
