Eerie vibes at this CVS location. It's closest to me so I've been going for about a year for vaccines, meds, and photo printing. However, I'm gonna consider other locations now. Nobody here looks like they want to work here and customers I've seen don't appear too friendly. The line takes forever even when they got 2+ people at the register. Not much else to say. The CVS locations at Target are the way to go. Get photo printing into those and these standalone locations will be obsolete. read more

Came to pick up a few things because it was on the way and I was surprised at how much more expensive they are compared to Target. However, there was some candy that was 50% off so that was a good deal. The line was very long when I came in but when we ready to check out it was fine. The cashier was very friendly and pointed out that we had a coupon to use for our second transaction. They also had new fun gummy candy. read more

Please add self checkout at this location!! The line was so long that I left my stuff on a shelf and walked out. The staff are trying their best, it's not their fault . Definitely the corporation's fault for not updating their stores. CVS as a whole needs to update their computers. Not only are they slow, but they break down constantly. The CVS on Bascom has been my go-to for years--pretty much since growing up in the area. It's a large, well-stocked location that stays organized even with steady foot traffic. I rarely see it messy or disorganized, which makes it easy to find what you need quickly. The pharmacy hours are especially convenient--they stay open until 8 PM during the week, which makes late pickups after work so much easier. Service at both the front and pharmacy counters is quick and efficient, and the team here has always been polite and helpful. Overall, this location has that reliable, neighborhood feel while still being clean, professional, and well run. Definitely one of the better CVS locations in the South Bay. read more

First time I visited this location. Products are organized nicely and I was able to find what I needed; although it was more expensive than Target, $3 more. When I was ready to pay, there was already a line formed for one cashier. When the second cashier appeared, she yelled at the customers that there was 1 line and pointed on the square carpet where we should stand. No one moved, we ignored her. We were already in 1 line waiting patiently and there was no signage to stand exactly where she wanted us - on the square carpet; we weren't in anyones way or obstructing merchandise. I went into CVS this afternoon to purchase a decongestant from the pharmacy. I had a 40% off coupon and $2.11 in rewards. After the pharmacist rang me up, I clearly asked twice to input my number. She said just tap your card. I tapped and again asked about putting in my number. She just shrugged and said the transaction is done. For a $21.29 medication, that resulted in an overcharge of $10.81 snd a cold shoulder. Time to find another phamacy. read more

Stopped by this CVS Pharmacy to pick up some meds. Staff works at painfully slow pace. Customer service is practically non existent so don't come here with any expectations. There was obviously a LONG wait for my medication pick up but I unfortunately already anticipated that since there were a large cluster of patrons with frowns on their faces, arms crossed. LMAO. The reviews aren't wrong, folks. I personally wouldn't pick this particular location for medication retrieval but I was simply here as a favor. Not recommended but pick your poison. read more

CVS is filthy and outdated. The store is so dirty and run-down that it looks like someone could collapse on the floor at any moment. The pharmacy staff is inaudible when administering shots, and the overall lack of cleanliness makes me worry about catching an illness just by being here. I won't be returning. read more

This is a clean, well-stocked store and I usually find what I need. During the day there are a lot of employees to assist. The front cashiers are also super friendly. I found what I was looking for and while in line, they called multiple people to the cashier to get us through more quickly. Reading through the reviews, I can tell people have had negative experiences here, as expected from any pharmacy location (lots of heated emotions on both sides of pharmacy transactions), so it isn't perfect, but compared to the Sunnyvale location (tap my profile for the woeful tale) it's like a five-star spa. read more

Yanira is a wonderful bright spot in my day. She is the best customer service person I've ever encountered at any location. I take care of elderly clients all over Santa Clara County. I am in and out of a lot of CVS locations. Bascom is good because they usually have what u need. Same can be said for Miramonte in Mountain View. But at no other location have I ever met anyone as cheerful, kind and helpful as Yanira. This review is long overdue and I'm glad to finally take a moment to say how wonderful she is. read more

DO NOT DROP OFF DISPOSABLE CAMERAS HERE!!!! My daughter brought in disposable cameras to CVS for processing. These were once in a lifetime pictures from a senior class trip. They lost one. Their apathetic response was to give her tracking information and have her call the shipper. They completely washed their hands of it and availed themselves of any responsibility blaming it on the shipper. They were unwilling to get involved in contact the shipper or the lab themselves. My daughter had to do all the groundwork and her camera is still lost. Despite the fact that she had her ticket and our contract was with CVS to process it. We've been in several times talked to several people, including in management and it's just a really sort of shrug response. Now searching online I see lots of complaints on the internet about CVS losing disposable cameras. I wish I had checked reviews before I let her use this place. She will never get those photos back and I am so sad. read more

After waiting in the drive through line at "Walgreens" for 1/2 hour for a prescription I refilled 24 hours earlier I was told my eye drops were not read, Whaaat? So I left and went to CVS. I spoke with the pharmacist at CVS Who informed me she would have to call Walgreens and it may take 24 hours to get the prescription filled. I'd be like no problem. 15 minutes later my prescription was filled!!! WHAAAAT!!! Yes folks Walgreens can't seem to fill a prescription in 24 hours!!! WhereCVS can make a phone call and get your prescription filled in 15 minutes. CVS you get 10 stars for this. read more

This place has come through when we needed it the most. Stomach not feeling good at 8pm? CVS to the rescue Burned my hand due to a curling iron at night? CVS to the rescue I need 4 print outs for our frames at our wedding? CVS to the rescue The list could go on! The best part was the lady who helped us at the cashier, she seems like she is the manager or a lead. She really went out of her way to make sure we got 1$ bill in change we had come to cvs specifically for. I don't think anyone has gone as far she did that I have ever met, especially in the face of a growing line and it being busy. Super sweet and kind! She deserves the credit and recognition! Went here for infant and children's Tylenol. Found the children's and where the infants should have been. Could see it was in stock online. Asked the pharmacist who came out to show me where it should have been, but not where it is. Just said it must be out then. I left and Door Dashed it for twice the price from this store. I waited in two lines to buy hair products and Sudafed. First they didn't answer the Button Assistance for 15 minutes and 10 button calls for the hair product. Then I get to the counter after waiting For 20 minutes in line, just to have the guy say I need to get the Sudafed from the pharmacy. I waited another 20 minutes just to have lady tell me they only cary the Generic brand. They don't cary the product, that they have a special card for. Why have the card for Sudafed if you don't Cary Sudafed? read more

Overall, this store is great. The customer service is good and I find the staff helpful and friendly. I have gotten vaccines and medications here along with general supplies. However, they have a photo department policy of "if you don't get it within 3 days, we'll send it back to stock and you'll have to reorder it". This policy is not made clear on the CVS website nor have I seen it posted within the store itself. Overall, standard CVS. Sometimes you have to wait for someone to help you with a locked away item. But I would assume that is because the staff are only human and can't be 12 places at once. I hope the corporate office will read this and understand I am critiquing their business model, not the store's employees. read more

If you need meds this is not the place! Called on Wednesday to confirm I would pick up both prescriptions on Saturday when my second prescription would be available. Just called and they apparently didn't order it or follow-up on order and they don't have ANY. They don't know when they will. I have 2 days of meds left and they have no clue when/they will get any. This review is for the Minute Clinic and Pharmacy which is located inside CVS. The other day I was feeling under the weather so went on my insurance to look for a urgent care since my doctor was booked for the day. Through my insurance I was eligible to go to any Minute Clinic. So I went on the website and signed up for an upcoming appointment. It was really easy to sign up and I got a 3:10 appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early and realized that there were still 2 people ahead of me that hadn't been seen yet. The appointments were all running late so I waited. I got seen to about 25 minutes later-definitely not 3:10. The room was small and cramped and I felt claustrophobic inside. It's way smaller than your normal patient room. The nurse thought it was a sinus infection. Therefore she wrote me down some prescriptions and I went to the pharmacy (located inside the same building) to get them. I stood in line and they told me there were no prescriptions on their system. I said I had literally just gone to the minute clinic and the nurse had it in the system. They also rudely remarked that I had to get the prescriptions over the counter instead of having my insurance pay for them. What the heck? I know for a fact insurance can pay for your OTCs. So at this point I was frustrated and went back to the minute clinic and waited for the nurse to open her door again. I told her what happened and she goes over to the pharmacy and there are disagreements. Again I'm waiting- finally they tell me they can fill my prescriptions in 45 minutes. At that point, I'm done and went to make an appointment with my doctor and my proper pharmacy that fills prescriptions in 15 minutes. Overall this CVS is unprofessional and disorganized. The woman working the pharmacy is rude and has an attitude. The nurse at the minute clinic was nice but needs to get her prescription system sorted out for her patients. Came here for a COVID-19 bivalent booster. I was in the area and poked my head to see if I squeeze in my appointment earlier, but they were pretty busy. Thankfully the CVS is in a shopping plaza with a few other stores so it was easy to pass the time. I was able to check in on my phone 15 minutes before my scheduled slot. Overall, the process went very smoothly and I waited about 10 minutes after my schedule appointment. Kim, the pharmacist who administered the shot, was super efficient, professional, and friendly. It barely felt like she did anything. I would trust her for any future vaccinations, etc. read more

I was surprised to see that this CVS is open 24/7! That's a rarity these days. One other shocker was that this CVS actually had isopropyl alcohol in stock (even though it was just one last bottle which I snagged) for do-it-yourself disinfectant. They do have hand sanitizer in stock as well. In terms of Covid preparedness...the way the employees were wearing their masks made me cringe. They did not have them covering their noses. Luckily they were behind plexiglass at checkout which I guess was probably protecting me more than them at this point. I also noted that they were not wearing gloves. It's great that there's a ton of signage outside about Covid but it was disappointing to see their own employees not heeding that advice. They were friendly enough however and tried to make some small talk. read more

If we weren't so dependent on pharmacies, I would never recommend this pharmacy. They font care about bad reviews. This pharmacy gets worse and worse! Stood in line for 45 on a Friday night waiting for meds that my doctor prescribed in the morning. Not ready- "it'll be ready first thing tomorrow morning." Didn't gi on Saturday but went Sunday morning. Still NOT ready! "15 min.." this pharmacy sucks! They always have and they have no incentive to get better.
