The prices here are insanity. I bought a few small items and it totaled almost $50.00. I was told I could sign up for Walgreens and get a discount (mind you there was a line of impatient customers behind me). I did so. Then the "buy one get one 50% off" didn't work...was expired though the sign was still up. The final price fr the few items? Over 41.00 dollars. It would have cost 30.00 at Amazon and I wouldn't have spent time standing in line and dealing with locked up items. I used to love Walgreens, but lack shoplifting laws and Amazon may have ruined the store and shopping experience! The woman working here today was pretty nice and calm, so the 2 stars. read more

The pharmacy has the worst service. They answer the phone by putting you on hold immediately. then, once they answer, they disconnect you.

This store is simply not run well. Just look at the overall rating and reviews. I went here to get a single photo print that said was ready. It took nearly an hour. The store itself looked like other Walgreens. Half disarray half organized. Common theme is lack of staff. There was no one in the photo area. I press the button and no one helps me for at least 15-20 minutes. While I'm there there are several people on the main checkout line trying to pay but no staff. However you see staff roaming around. If this was Oakland or some other ghetto area, everyone could have just walked out with merch. Finally someone helps me and the guy was unprofessional and seemed like he was in another world. Another customer came to use the photo automated touch screen and it wasn't working and he made a snide remark to her which prompted her to reply back that he doesn't have to be rude about it. It was a disaster. He found the folder of the photo print, and in the process of checking out, he opened the folder and said the print wasn't actually in there. After fumbling for sometime, another staff member opened the folder and the print was there all along. Like I said, he was out of this world. She leaves and I'm waiting to finally get checked out and he disappears in the back. After more time passes, the other employee comes back and I said I just want to go its been nearly an hour. She finally gets my receipt and in this process that guy comes back out WITH A REPRINT OF THE PHOTO. Like he didn't know what has just been happening this whole time. I took that survey on the receipt and the store manager responded. Clearly Walgreens is going downhill. Look at the reviews of all their stores. It's not good. Corporate needs to come down on all these underperforming stores. They should just stick being just a pharmacy. Walmart, Costco, and CVS seem to be running things much smoother. If you have a bad experience here--which likely you will--do that survey on the receipt. read more

I would honestly give them a one star, but I did get my prescription, so I guess I'll do two stars not to be so mean. I know it was raining, and there were two cars in front of me, but I'm not too sure what happened with the pharmacy this particular day! It took me 45 minutes to get my prescription filled, which were measly pink eyedrops! Lol not only that but once I got to the front Check out window. That portion itself took me another 15 minutes and then the pharmacist spoke to me over the loudspeaker, granted, I lost my voice. She yelled at me a handful of times, and I had to motion to the gentleman at the register that I lost my voice in which he yelled to the other side of the pharmacy that I could hear her, but I couldn't speak. I'm sure they were busy, but I don't know why it would take me 45 minutes if I was the third person in line. Once I got to the front, I also noticed there were a number of people inside waiting for their prescriptions also and at least six people behind the counter! I don't know if I'll come back here again, but goodness! At least I got to read a bunch of emails And do some work from my car as I turned it off each time I moved up 10 feet! read more

Most useless pharmacy ever. The people who work here work slow and inefficient, it's hard to believe they made it through any education at all. You could walk in when literally nobody is in line and at the drive through, and you'll still wait 40 minutes, just to find out that they only got two out of three meds ready. Then you hear the "oh, it's going to be another 10 minute" speech, just like when you got there the first time. The rest of the store is mostly okay, except if you need an item that's locked behind glass. Better to go somewhere else! read more

Gave them another chance last night, put in my prescription via text. Stopped by at 4:30pm tonight and the prescription still wasn't ready they told me to come back in a half an hour. I told them all they had to do was print out a label and get the eye drops in the refrigerator. Obviously they don't look at the text message prescriptions!! It doesn't take 24 hours to fill a prescription that requires someone to print out a label. So I went to CVS. CVS called Walgreens and change the prescriptions to their store and had prescription filled for me in 15 minutes. Walgreens pharmacy! is a joke read more

Highly recommend avoiding this Walgreens pharmacy. Drive further if you have to. Today the pharmacy is supposed to be open at 10, it's currently past 10:20 and it's closed. The front desk "thinks" people "should be" here. So unhelpful - and worrisome with my timely prescription. Also - this has happened to me here before. I try to pu scripts here but they cannot seem to keep the same person answering phones and has gotten alot worse. Im sure the pay sucks and have hi turnover thus the dumbest people work the front and cannot multitask. I've been on hold for 20 min only for someone to hang up just do not answer phone. Its not acceptable for this service. They need more then one person getting phones and a seperate line 1 for pickup and 1 for drop off. Poor service starts off with poor management. read more

My doctor called in a prescription on a Tuesday. I was unable to pick it up until Friday. I stood at the head of the line for 15 minutes before anyone spoke to me and then was told my prescription hadn't been filled yet. They asked me to wait while they filled it. 45 minutes later it still had not been filled. I won't get any prescriptions filled here in the future. read more

Walgreens twice canceled our kids' COVID vaccine appointments right before their appointment. They have promised to call back to reschedule, but never do. This pharmacy is probably the worst I've ever encountered. Unfortunately the nearby Rite-Aid closed and we were transferred to this mess. The wait times are usually longer than 10 minutes and they don't seem to do well with first come served. They don't often answer the phone rather pick it up and put directly on hold. I've been trying have a prescription filled for almost 6 weeks. I know that it won't be covered by insurance and I would pay out of pocket. After 4 weeks they let me know that it was not in stock and would have to be ordered and to come back in a week. I did come back in a week and was told that the MD instructions were unclear and would need to be clarified. Fast forward another week and I'm told that there's an insurance coverage issue. Tried calling to let them know I'll pay and have been on hold for 12 minutes. I'm struggling to find another alternative that's open after 6pm or an easy online option. This is an established chain pharmacy in the heart of Silicon Valley so this shouldn't be this difficult. This place needs new management that values customer care and service. read more

I'm now waiting on a prescription to be filled, I check my app and now it says this pharmacy is temporarily closed?!?! So they closed without telling anyone??? The one plus is that they have a pharmacy drive through! The downside, the lines are always long, whether it be walk in or drive through. I will give a few examples: * Walk in. Only three people in line, how nice! Except the person in front was doing a pick up for like 5 patients!!!! This meant each had their meds and insurance and co-pays, etc. After 8+ minutes and no end in sight, I split! * Prescriptions. Without fail they are almost always out of stock and everything needs to be ordered. * I received two texts reminding me about my meds. I go through the drive through (15+ mins), only to be told that had no gotten insurance approval????? I was like, you texted me two times, telling me to come get my meds and then you lay this crap on me??????? I did get a call and an apology, but it is not a one time thing. My prescription was finally ready and I went to get it at the drive through. First, I was asked my name (of course) then it was date of birth, she then disappeared for 5 mins. When she returned it was address, then it was last 4 of my phone number and finally she asked me for ID?????????? This place is absolutely insane! read more

The staff here is always apologetic, but they are so understaffed that picking up a prescription is an hour long endeavor. There is usually one employee covering both drive-through and the inside window, and it is brutal. Do not recommend them for a pharmacy. read more

I love the photo department here. Customer service is great, especially Blanche. Always look for a code by the way. If you can't find one just pick the nearest holiday and try your luck, like LOVE50 for Valentine's Day or DAD50 for Father's Day or GREENPEE50 for St. Patrick's Day. read more

My daughter was prescribed a spray for her lungs and the pharmacy sold us a spacer / chamber (even though we didn't really need it because the doctor already gave us one). I only realized this when I got home. The next day I tried to get a refund (it costed $28), but they wouldn't take it. When I checked the prescription order from the doctor, I don't see any explicit order for the spacer/ chamber, other than in the usage instructions. My guess is the staff/pharmacist concluded we also needed to purchase one from such instruction. Suggestions for everyone: Please check what they're trying to sell you to avoid purchasing stuff you don't really need. It kinda sucks they won't even allow a refund.. The staff is friendly so that's a plus. read more

They messed up by billing my old insurance that was deactivated one year ago... I paid $70 extra out if my pocket because they never billed the correct insurance for 3 months. And then these a-holes pretended like it wasn't their fault, why didn't "I" ask for my old insurance to be "DELETED" They won't help me make those claims to the new insurance. And they won't take my return of an "unopened" "still stapled" packet that they billed the wrong insurance. Comment for the pharmacy only.. **STAY AWAY**My usual pharmacy is the Walgreens on Union and Curtner. There was a stock issue and I did not read the reviews before I sent it here (based on being the next closet Walgreens pharmacy). It's a "controlled" prescription and despite me being on it and filing it with Walgreens they wouldn't do a stock check. Some places are weird so I accepted this and my doctor called and did a stock check since I couldn't and they confirmed for my doctor to send it there (I had already been for multiple days due to it being the weekend). After my doctor sent it and the pharmacy told me 30 mins they called back and said they didn't have enough. My doctor sent a different strength and they said I had an insurance issue (I've done this multiple times before and had no issues). I asked for the out of pocket price and the pharmacist made one up (or guessed off the top of her head). I have been out of the prescription for 5 days so it is urgent for me. The pharmacist did not even pretend to care. I am not even joking about that, it's shameful. I really like the pharmacist staff at my usual Walgreens so I will continue there but NEVER here again. Recently I TRIED to transfer all my prescriptions over to the Walgreens in Campbell because they were considered a "preferred" pharmacy by my part "D" insurance whereas the Safeway I used for the past year was considered only to be "standard". No matter what I tried, I could not transfer my prescription drugs using their website. I only got a message stating that I did not have any prescriptions with Walgreens after inputting all my information on their website and when I went in to take care of my business, there was a line of people at the pharmacy and it took forever to get to the front. Twice I left the store after waiting 40 minutes in line - there is ALWAYS a line! Not only that, but the prices were much higher than Safeway Pharmacy and I got bigger discounts using my GoodRX card at Safeway than Walgreens. I have nothing good to say about this store. I gave up on this store and went back to the Safeway Pharmacy where I kept all my prescription drugs. read more
