Drop-off then told me to go to Consultation (after waiting in line for a while for a slow customer at Drop-off). Consultation told me that the prescription was for a $200 drug that I could alternatively get off the shelf. Why didn't pickup just tell me that instead of "we're waiting for more info from the doctor"? Because there was a long line. While it's bad enough falsely blaming the doctor to shorten the line, by sending me to another booth, I ended up making two more lines longer! So they used me to make their problem worse. Youch; it's sad when the operational inefficiency is more off-putting than bad customer service.

This particular CVS was rather busy and they had a eclectic bunch of things in snacks as well as presents for the holidays. I was printing some holiday pictures and since the photo department wasn't backed up, the lady was nice enough to print the one hour photos within my 5/10 minute wait! So I was very grateful for her printing my picture so quickly so I could be on my way! I will definitely come back here again!!

Sometimes things make it into the clearance section that aren't actually on clearance so you have to be kind of careful. With my absolutely stuffed cart seriously... full of stuff, I pulled up to the checkout line. I waited an incredibly long amount of time because the checker was being absolutely delightful to someone who required a lot of assistance. The person in front of me commented to this checker how they have the patience of a God. I was about to say the same thing. I mean, she didn't even look put out. She was still just as friendly and just as helpful with the person in front of me. When I finally pulled up, I explained to her that I needed to be quite careful with what I purchased because I am broke let me tell you she was just incredible. She told me the original price and then discounted price, then explained how much of a percentage it was off Each item on clearance! THEY WERE FAST. She totally understood that I just couldn't buy things unless they were under a certain amount. I felt like I had a teammate --instead of someone making me feel ashamed or embarrassed, or that I was taking up too much of their time. She was fast, polite, super helpful, and incredibly understanding. Andrea, if you read this, you were the friendly person that I needed today and I appreciate you. Then, when I brought it back, the person handling the return gave me a skeptical attitude as if I was returning it after use rather than because it was defective. The issue was clear: air was flowing out of the wrong pipe, making the tank unusable. This was a product defect, not buyer's remorse or misuse. The whole reason I purchased online was to save time and avoid inconvenience, but instead it created more hassle and wasted time. This was a very disappointing experience, and I expected better customer service and a smoother resolution from Target. Target can do better.

The customer standing…read moreat the "working" self checkout was having problems with her purchase, but the cashier (brusque Indian woman in her 50s) rudely kept telling her repeatedly to "follow the instructions," although the customer was clearly confused. The cashier never helped her. I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase. Read some other reviews on this app. There's at least one talking about the same person, the same behavior. I don't care how long I have to wait in line. Like I said, I have compassion for stores that are understaffed and under-trained. I also have endless patience for this kind of thing usually. If anything, I'm the person wanting to make someone's day better if they're having a bad one. But this cashier was needlessly antagonistic, not just to me but to every customer and employee around me, creating an atmosphere and experience so unpleasant that now I'm logging on to f***ing YELP to write you a novel about this CVS location and warn you off it.
