Drop-off then told me to go to Consultation (after waiting in line for a while for a slow customer at Drop-off). Consultation told me that the prescription was for a $200 drug that I could alternatively get off the shelf. Why didn't pickup just tell me that instead of "we're waiting for more info from the doctor"? Because there was a long line. While it's bad enough falsely blaming the doctor to shorten the line, by sending me to another booth, I ended up making two more lines longer! So they used me to make their problem worse. Youch; it's sad when the operational inefficiency is more off-putting than bad customer service.

It's Daniel who makes shopping here the best: no fake small talk, no intention of fake customer service, just real, raw, wonderful interactions. What would make this place five stars? I let them know that I needed to start it ASAP and they reluctantly helped me. They were clearly rushing and refused another customer after me even though they weren't technically closed yet. They even gave me a hard time about applying my insurance to it so I could afford it.. While I can somewhat understand the situation, it should be stated that you must show up however much time beforehand for pick up or the workers should be given a grace period instead of having to be closed down by "closing time". It completely inappropriate to make customers feel this way. Just today, my boyfriend picked up a new medication for me that I've never taken. Nobody explained how to use the medication or what to do, yet he was told you click a button that said they did explain it. California law states that they have to explain each new medication to you, even if you don't ask.. And this is definitely not the only time this has happened.

There was a 50% coupon available, but instead of simply helping me, the manager, Surendra, insisted that I cancel my order, re-upload all of my photos on the store kiosk, and submit a completely new order. The entire process took almost 30 minutes. I was there with my baby in a stroller, who woke up crying, and instead of trying to make the situation easier, there was no empathy at all. To make matters worse, the store's Wi-Fi wasn't working properly, so the photos were taking a long time to upload. When I mentioned it, Surendra told me to go outside because the upload would be faster there. So I had to stand outside with my crying baby just to upload my photos. Communication was difficult, and when I asked why he wasn't helping me, he repeatedly said, "I'm helping you," then simply walked away while I was still speaking to him. I understand that employees have to follow store policies, but customer service is about more than just policies it's about treating customers with patience, respect, and compassion. This experience was unnecessarily stressful, and I left feeling completely dismissed. I hope Walgreens provides better customer service and support in the future.

The staff were nice as they usually are at that location, but the person behind the counter couldn't handle "How do I get the MRNA flu vaccine" or even "How much does it cost?" Then their POS software went into an infinite loop. I was going to make some purchases too, but ran right out of time and patience.
