Is this a subscription based pharmacy with fee? Is there an out of pocket charge for delivery or is that covered by insurance?

Hello, Qwark is not a subscription-based pharmacy. You only pay for the medications you need, no monthly subscriptions. There is no delivery charge for most deliveries.…

Picture if you will: two self checkouts, one broken and the other being used. The customer standing…read moreat the "working" self checkout was having problems with her purchase, but the cashier (brusque Indian woman in her 50s) rudely kept telling her repeatedly to "follow the instructions," although the customer was clearly confused. The cashier never helped her. I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase. Read some other reviews on this app. There's at least one talking about the same person, the same behavior. I don't care how long I have to wait in line. Like I said, I have compassion for stores that are understaffed and under-trained. I also have endless patience for this kind of thing usually. If anything, I'm the person wanting to make someone's day better if they're having a bad one. But this cashier was needlessly antagonistic, not just to me but to every customer and employee around me, creating an atmosphere and experience so unpleasant that now I'm logging on to f***ing YELP to write you a novel about this CVS location and warn you off it.

The pharmacists here are generally kind, but unfortunately, there's a very, very rude Indian lady…read morewho works both at the front and in the pharmacy as a technician. Her behavior is completely unacceptable. She's consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She never wears a name tag, always keeps a mask on to avoid being identified, and when I politely asked for her name so I could file a complaint, she snapped, "Why do you need my name?" then shouted "Next!" and blatantly ignored me. It's genuinely upsetting that someone with such an attitude is allowed to work in a pharmacy ,a place where people come in vulnerable, in need of care, and deserve kindness. It's disappointing and frankly alarming that this type of behavior is tolerated in a healthcare setting.

I was just passing by since I was at Sally's beauty supply and I needed foil to bleach my hair…read more Luckily they had the CVS next-door and I was able to get foil for an OK price. Lol it seems like everything's gone up! Lol. Along with my one stop shop, I liked how they had all these California/state items you could buy and pretend you traveled everywhere. Granted you're just in Santa Clara, California. Lol I thought it was ironically funny since I was in Hollywood two weeks ago and they sold all the same items at numerous stores on Hollywood Boulevard. Lol. This particular CVS was pretty clean granted there's some homeless people living in their parking lot. They only have self checkout so the poor lady in front of me was having trouble getting her items to scan, but a cashier came to help her. I really hate how people are losing jobs too computers like self checkout stands. I'd rather talk to a real person not a robot. But that's just me. Hee

I go here for my prescriptions and every single time - whether during the day or evening, week day…read moreor weekend, the line is long and the staff helping only open 1 or 2 counters. There are always a number of people in the background, doing not sure what but only a couple of people helping with the pickup. When there is a long line and there is one every time, no one opens up another counter to help. I dread going here because I feel like years of my life are wasting away, standing in line. Any of the above would be bearing if the people working there were efficient or even great to deal with. I left a message at one time and their answering message says that they will call back within a period of time, I waited almost a day before calling them again and when I asked about the timing, the pharmacist said, with heavy attitude, that she had called me back and my inbox was full and she could not leave a message, I have 5 messages in my inbox! There are 2 lines to form to pick up prescriptions, one regular and a fast land for mobile check in. The last time I was there, standing in the regular line and it took the person in front of me over 20 minutes to pick up her prescriptions! The person helping her would walk off, find something, it was wrong and she would go start that all over again or she was not able to find the prescriptions! She didn't ask for help, just kept walking around the tiny space trying to find the poor women's prescriptions. The fast lane was open, with no one in line, and I went there to pick up my prescription and the person helping, she was one of the pharmacists said that this is a fast land and I had to go back to the regular lane, there was no one in that lane!!!!! There are signs posted asking people to be kind to the pharmacy staff - probably because they are so inefficient and rude that people get frustrated It's too bad that there are not many other choices. I wish I could take my business elsewhere!
