    kool-aid

been here for years and walgreens never fails. well, when you need your medicine prescribed by your doctor it'll take a while. but overall it's a good place to get some small groceries or snacks depending why you're at walgreens. the only downside is that most splints or body recovery equipment like thumb splints or waist straps will rack at least 20 bucks for one piece of fabric that stretches. deals here are decent. a bag of chips that are 2.50 for one and 4$ for two is about the same when you buy without bundling. the only weird think here is they sell kool-aid in bottles which isn't found in other stores?

The lady assumed I didn't want my receipt and I dont know where she got that idea.

I used to come here for my medications until the pharmacy wait times became unbearable and didn't make any sense. So today I came here because they had something the other Walgreens didn't have that I needed to get as a gift for my relatives when I fly down to visit them for thanksgiving. After I finished paying for my stuff the lady took my receipt and ripped it up. I was really shocked when she did this so I took my stuff and the ripped receipt to the other cash register to ask to return everything and repay for it so I could get a new receipt since they didn't have a way to reprint my original receipt. The guy he huffed and puffed at me when I asked him to help me with this but proceeded to scan my things anyways and printed out a voided transaction slip. I didn't trust him but let him rescan my stuff anyways. So he mishandled my Ghirardelli chocolate snowman bag and I wasn't happy with that and told him I was gonna get another one that was going to be less damaged. So when I came back he handled my chocolate bag a little more carefully this time when he scanned it but now my issue was with my $4 that I already paid with the previous cashier. I said I wanted to pay for my items with the $4 cash I had plus the $5 cash reward I slip I had received from the other Walgreens that said if I spent $15 I could get another $5 but didn't understand why they couldn't just use that $5 and deduct it from my total. Eventually the store manager came and just gave me $5 so I talked to her and asked how come I couldn't get that deducted in my total? So to my understanding I only get the $5 as a rewards credit and not a cash reward or something. And I got $5 cash anyways but didn't know why it couldn't just be taken out of my original total so I wouldn't have to pay for basically everything twice since my refunds usually take a long time to be put back into my bank account and felt like I was losing money because of this. And I needed all the money I could get to use for my trip because I haven't had any money to go on any trips anywhere for several years and now that I finally do I felt like I was just losing money. The manager lady who gave me the $5 pretended to be kind and said sarcastically, OKAY GOOD BYE and HAVE A GOOD DAY when we were finished talking but I also wasn't at all happy about the way she talked to me either but I just felt disrespected and left and began writing this review. I knew I wouldn't find better customer service here but at least I still wanted to give them a chance to make things better. I guess they have a right to be rude and provide hostile and unfair customer service after making mistakes and I don't have a right to better service if they don't feel like it. So yeah that's my recent experience and I thought they couldn't get worse.

    poor service.

Came for routine vax shot. made an appointment. stood in a long line. told to wait to get called. got back in line after 45min. still waiting as they figure out what to do. plan for a multi hour ordeal if you come to this walgreens.

The other employee was a trainee and was not qualified to do much of anything. I first approached the registers asking for a price check. the manager was preoccupied with a customer, so I asked the trainee if she could check the price of an item for me. The manager was like, "oh there's a price check machine right behind you, sir" and I was like "the machine is off" and then she was like "oh is it?" So, I replied, "yes, so can one of you do a price check for me?" and she was like, "oh no the other this computer is down and she (the trainee) doesn't have the credentials to login". When I was ready to checkout, the manager was still busy helping the same aforementioned customer so I decided to use self check out. I rang up my items and one of them was not as advertised price wise, and there was no one available to help me remove the item. So I gave up on what I wanted and went to put back the item that should've been on sale and when I came back, the machine was still out of commission. I notified the manager lady that there's a problem with the self check out, and she impatiently replied, "you'll have to wait because I'm with a customer right now and the trainee can't do that either. Well great, I'm a customer and I've been needing help too but sorry for inconveniencing you! Basically I spent 10 extra minutes in this store because there was only one functional employee working / available to answer questions on a Monday afternoon at 5pm. You would think they would have better coverage to accommodate the after work crowd?

Lol it seems like everything's gone up! Lol. Along with my one stop shop, I liked how they had all these California/state items you could buy and pretend you traveled everywhere. Granted you're just in Santa Clara, California. Lol I thought it was ironically funny since I was in Hollywood two weeks ago and they sold all the same items at numerous stores on Hollywood Boulevard. Lol. This particular CVS was pretty clean granted there's some homeless people living in their parking lot. They only have self checkout so the poor lady in front of me was having trouble getting her items to scan, but a cashier came to help her. I really hate how people are losing jobs too computers like self checkout stands. I'd rather talk to a real person not a robot. But that's just me. Hee

There are always a number of people in the background, doing not sure what but only a couple of people helping with the pickup. When there is a long line and there is one every time, no one opens up another counter to help. I dread going here because I feel like years of my life are wasting away, standing in line. Any of the above would be bearing if the people working there were efficient or even great to deal with. I left a message at one time and their answering message says that they will call back within a period of time, I waited almost a day before calling them again and when I asked about the timing, the pharmacist said, with heavy attitude, that she had called me back and my inbox was full and she could not leave a message, I have 5 messages in my inbox! There are 2 lines to form to pick up prescriptions, one regular and a fast land for mobile check in. The last time I was there, standing in the regular line and it took the person in front of me over 20 minutes to pick up her prescriptions! The person helping her would walk off, find something, it was wrong and she would go start that all over again or she was not able to find the prescriptions! She didn't ask for help, just kept walking around the tiny space trying to find the poor women's prescriptions. The fast lane was open, with no one in line, and I went there to pick up my prescription and the person helping, she was one of the pharmacists said that this is a fast land and I had to go back to the regular lane, there was no one in that lane!!!!! There are signs posted asking people to be kind to the pharmacy staff - probably because they are so inefficient and rude that people get frustrated It's too bad that there are not many other choices. I wish I could take my business elsewhere!

The customer standing…read moreat the "working" self checkout was having problems with her purchase, but the cashier (brusque Indian woman in her 50s) rudely kept telling her repeatedly to "follow the instructions," although the customer was clearly confused. The cashier never helped her. I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase. Read some other reviews on this app. There's at least one talking about the same person, the same behavior. I don't care how long I have to wait in line. Like I said, I have compassion for stores that are understaffed and under-trained. I also have endless patience for this kind of thing usually. If anything, I'm the person wanting to make someone's day better if they're having a bad one. But this cashier was needlessly antagonistic, not just to me but to every customer and employee around me, creating an atmosphere and experience so unpleasant that now I'm logging on to f***ing YELP to write you a novel about this CVS location and warn you off it.

Her behavior is completely unacceptable. She's consistently rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. She never wears a name tag, always keeps a mask on to avoid being identified, and when I politely asked for her name so I could file a complaint, she snapped, "Why do you need my name?" then shouted "Next!" and blatantly ignored me. It's genuinely upsetting that someone with such an attitude is allowed to work in a pharmacy ,a place where people come in vulnerable, in need of care, and deserve kindness. It's disappointing and frankly alarming that this type of behavior is tolerated in a healthcare setting.

Although I didn't find what I wanted, I found something I did which was a super clearanced charger for my phone. Everything also stays on the shelf *generally* at least for the electronics section for clearance. Is that better? I don't know. I'm just so used to going to the end caps of aisles and looking at yellow tags. Either way, I found something that I needed for a good price.
