Well, Saturday came and went and their word about delivery was not dependable. I was prescribed a cream for the dark spots on my face and that would not generally be covered by insurance. The dermatologist's office suggested this pharmacy because the cream would be a bit more affordable. The pharmacy called as soon as they received the prescription and even though insurance would cover the prescription at a much higher cost, they still checked. The cost would have been close to $300 if I went through insurance but if filled directly with Wellness, it was $90. Communication was smooth, I got regular updates via text, even an option to prepay before gong to pick up the prescription. I went by to pick up my prescription around 3pm on a weekday and there was no line and I was in and out with my cream. I removed one star because of the parking situation - I can never get parking here, I used to go to a RN in the same building and it was always bad. For the number of businesses in the building, there is very limited parking in front. You can go around the back and park in the dirt and walk up or park in the underground parking. I recently used this pharmacy because the physician chose it due to proximity to their offices. The experience I had with this pharmacy was a comedy of errors. For the same set of prescriptions, they had two snafus on two consecutive days. On the third day, I received a text message saying that the prescription was ready and when I arrived at the pharmacy a few hours later, two clerks searched their staging area for 10 minutes ... and could not locate my filled prescription. Have rather mixed feelings about Wellness Pharmacy. Over the phone with my wife, they were incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable of their inventory, prescription prices, and medication coupons that applied. My wife never felt rushed over the phone, and they really made sure that my wife felt confident in her choice of pharmacist given that the medications would cost us thousands of dollars. When we arrived however, the same warm and fuzzy feeling we received over the phone was definitely not reciprocated by their employees manning the counters. There appeared to be a complete lack of empathy exhibited from the staff, and wait times were rather long to fill drugs that should have already been ready by the time we arrived. While waiting for our prescriptions, we browsed around the pharmacy and noted that they sold a lot of retail products of limited quantities. As well as some random household products, snacks, and drinks. A good portion of the retail products lacked pricing however, so it was difficult to determine if something was worth buying without bringing it up to the registers. This place is a small pharmacy and I mean that in the best possible way. They provide service of one that is in a small town. They remember you and they are very friendly and accommodating. They worked fast to get your order and they are very accurate. My husband has gone here for years and I decided that although it's a little further away, than our chain pharmacy nearby, it's totally worth it! For starters, please do not call and tell me that I can come anytime the next day to pick up when in fact, a pharmacist needs to sign off first! When I went there the next day, 1st, address in yelp is off! It was across the street, where starbuck's at. Next, availability for parking is ridiculous! So hard to find a parking! Then, after queuing (line goes really slowly) and to be informed that a pharmacist needs to sign off and he/she is out till 2:45pm?? How presumptuous to assume everyone is able to come and go at your asking?!? Then when I'm back.. asked if I received a text cos there's no indication in their system?! Sigh... Watch out for Wellness Pharmacy. They're like the car dealership that says we only sell the cars. We don't stand behind them. I ordered three prescription nasal sprays. One would not plunge to dispense the spray. The respondent's reply? The owner from Wellness gave me two phone numbers, presumably of the manufacturer. Basically, the owner is saying you're on your own if you order from us and something doesn't work out. I don't care how much we charge you. I've asked my pulmonologist to direct my prescriptions to another pharmacist, and I've given her the full text thread about wellness pharmacy's high-handed attitude toward their customers. I really LOVED this pharmacy! But, recently my experience here has declined immensely. So much so, that I try to communicate with them more often then ever to avoid any mistakes. I called before picking up my prescription to ensure it was ready. I've requested text notifications and calls but I never get them. They ensured that the prescription was ready. I don't live close to this side of town as I moved. I come in to pick up my prescription..... and they didn't have enough. I only got 10/30 pills. Which means.... I have to make another trip. I called Monday to make sure they had the rest of my prescription to avoid what happened last week, they did not but they told me to come in the day after. I came in today..... the girl up front says 1/2 of my prescriptions are here and she has to "look for my other one in the back". I waited inside the pharmacy, but I had to leave after 15 minutes. I check in with her... and she said "actually the rest of your prescription is in your bag." She didn't care to tell me this while I was waiting? Best part. I walk out as I'm done here, she chases me down to tell me she has to scan and get a signature. I'm so fed up with the experience here. I've tried my hardest to call in and communicate multiple times on MY PART which I shouldn't have to, to make sure I can just get my prescription and go. But every time I waste a good 30-60 minutes or even multiple trips to get my meds. I also asked if there is anything I can do to avoid this again... the girl avoided my question entirely. read more

I have used Wellness Pharmacy for many years. I recently moved a little further away and tried using various other pharmacies, but not a single one compared to Wellness. Therefore, I recently went back to using Wellness Pharmacy because they conveniently ship my medication to me at no extra charge. They were able to find and apply a coupon for my prescription and saved me $10. They are fast, efficient, and very helpful. Recently start measuring my blood sugar. They have been sending me wrong test strips twice even though l gave them my glucometer's brand. The receipt they sent me displayed the correct one but the test strips l received are wrong. They do not give my money back, so l ended up buying a new glucometer and new test strips out of pocket. They do not know how to manage diabetes care/management. I do not recommend them if you have diabetes. read more

Awesome part is if I'm unable to pick up my prescriptions they can mail it out to me! I've never had an issue with their staff or not getting my prescriptions on time. It was the most unprofessional and unorganized place. They don't check their voicemail regularly so when the doctor called they didn't check until lthe next day, then when I went to pick it up, they said I have to wait til the pharmacist check with the doctor, I called back again and told them that I have a flight to catch and need this medicine, she (pharmacist) assured me it would be ready by 1:00, went to pick it up at 1:30, they couldn't find it and said pharmacist is out to lunch, you have to wait till 2:10 when she is back!!!! Not welling to call or assist me any other way! I was extremely disappointed wwith this pharmacy.The first time I filled a presciption I gave them a pass. On that 1st. occasion I called to see if they got my presciption. Thay said they did and when I got there they had me wait 15 min. to get it filled. The next occurence happened today. They had my prescription for 3 days and not a word that they had recieved it or that it was ready. I called the 2nd day and they told me to come in the next day as it was not ready. When I got there the next day, they asked me to wait as they had not filled it yet. If I could give it a negative star I would. Don't believe the great recommendations. This place has the potential to be so much better! People there are generally blah. They are never very happy to see you and they don't acknowledge that you are there waiting. I stood there for 5 min with 4 staff working/ talking behind the counter. One woman was being helped but it's like I was invisible. No hello. No can I help you. No be with you in a sec. Like many reviewers here, I am a frequent customer of the large chains (CVS, Walgreen's, Rite Aid). I didn't even know this little mom and pop pharmacy was here until my son's pediatrician (across the street, at RAMBLC) mentioned them. My son has been getting sick a lot, from flu season and daycare germs. We visited his pediatrician today because he was wheezing a little and the doctor prescribed him Albuterol with a nebulizer to help him open up his airways a little. The doctor mentioned that Wellness Pharmacy carries nebulizers for ~$30-$40. I popped over, after my son's appointment and the guys at Wellness Pharmacy were able to help me get in and out pretty quickly. The only downside was they didn't have any Albuterol on hand, so I had to go to my local CVS to pick that up (I was very annoyed at the service at CVS, but that's neither here nor there). Once I got everything, one of the guys even helped me carry the nebulizer to my car (I had a baby in my arm and his prescriptions/diaper bag in another). Do you think you would get that kind of service/help from a local CVS? Suffice to say, I'm getting all of my prescriptions here from now on. read more
