All these five star reviews for the Wellness Pharmacy are completely justified. I went to a new doctor last week for refills on some scrips. I usually go to the Rite Aid in Los Gatos to get my scrips filled but before I could tell the doctor that, he'd gone and called them into the Wellness Pharmacy. "Fabulous," I thought, "he's probably got some kick back scheme going with this place and my meds are gonna cost a fortune." I don't have prescription coverage. Heck, I barely have medical coverage. So if I'm buying drugs it comes totally out of my pocket. Refills on my scrips, for a single month, usually total around $130 at Rite Aid. I figured at the new place they'd probably be around $200 if I was lucky. Turns out, I *don't* know everything. I explained my situation to the Wellness pharmacist. "Oh don't worry," he said, "we'll save you some money." Yelpers, this was the understatement of the year. The pharmacist explained to me how the chain drugstores price their meds and how he prices his. Suffice to say, I paid about HALF what I usually pay. HALF. Here, let me say it again. HALF. Am I pissed off at Rite Aid for ripping me off all these years? Hell yeah I am. Am I totally in love with the Wellness Pharmacy? Damn straight. read more

Cuong! The most awesome pharmacist I've ever met. When do you ever get to know your pharmacist at a Walgreens or whatever? Never. I stumbled upon Wellness when I saw a new doctor in the area and was referred here for my prescription. Unfortunately for me, I've had to go back for different meds and refills but the best part of the whole shebang was meeting Cuong who I believe owns the pharmacy. On several occasions I've dealt with him and his assistant and on each visit they were always extremely prompt and so personable. You can tell when you talk to Cuong that he actually cares about your treatment and what is prescribed to you and how everything will affect you. You know sometimes when you go to a CVS they just fill your script and send you walking. It has been so awesome getting to know Cuong and I definitely recommend you get your script filled here next time. Also Starbucks is next door, talk about a win-win! read more

They filled two prescriptions for a new patient in like 5 minutes. What? Walgreens takes more than 5 minutes just to answer their phone. I've never seen a pharmacy fill a prescription so fast. They also offered me home made cookies and chocolates. This is a real pharmacy that only sells medicine and medical supplies. You don't have to walk past 10 aisles of hula-hoops and Halloween costumes and candy to find the pharmacy. Come here once and you'll never go to a chain drugstore again. read more

I have driven past here dozens of times but was introduced to this Pharmacy by Dr. Hashmi of Crescent Medical Center. They are his preferred pharmacy and now I understand why. Like many I was laid off in 2008 and haven't had "real" health insurance since then. This pharmacy will save you money, on average you will pay half the cost of the larger chains. Cuong is awesome, he is very patient and accommodating. Once he even offered to stay a bit longer so I could pick up an antibiotic when I was across town and couldn't make it by closing time! Also he will deliver prescriptions to you if needed. Talk about Customer Service! Just know they are getting popular so there might be a bit of a wait but you make up for that in savings. read more

Last December (2011) I visited the After Hours Clinic on Los Gatos Blvd. where I was diagnosed with Pneumonia. I needed medication right away, and it was after 5PM. The clinic suggested I try Wellness Pharmacy, which is just right up the street from them, because they were probably still open. Since I was feeling so poorly, I did not want to have to drive to a 24-hour Pharmacy, so I tried Wellness Pharmacy and met the owner, proprietor, Cuong. He was friendly and re-assuring, giving me my medication promptly. I have now switched all my Pharmacy business to him and recommend him to others all the time. He always advises me on any medication I receive from him and often has other hints on how to handle my symptoms as well. I have a sense that he cares about his customers, so I return to him any time I need his expert services. I highly recommend Cuong and his Wellness Pharmacy. read more

This place is worlds away from the hectic pharmacies at the big box stores. They are a compounding pharmacy and provide a much cheaper medicine for my HMT than the name brand manufacturers. The pharmacist has always been available for consultation without waiting in line. This is a small, low key operation which is much better than the big boys. Try them, you will like it. Not quite life-changing (is it possible to have a life-changing pharmacy?), but Cuong definitely went above and beyond -- I called in a prescription, and he mailed it to me! Also, I no longer trust the CVS pharmacy inside Target -- I tried to get a routine antibiotic prescription filled, only to be told that it wasn't covered by insurance and it would cost $20/pill. Then I go to Wellness Pharmacy, and Cuong tells me it's covered and fills it for me on the spot. I will only use Wellness Pharmacy from now on. read more

I'm writing this now on Thanksgiving out-of-state because I had to deal with a pharmacy that wasn't this pharmacy. Which was a total reminder that this pharmacy, Wellness Pharmacy, is super awesome! I've spoken with the pharmacist on numerous times and he is very polite. He and his staff always get my prescriptions right. (I cannot say the same for two other pharmacies I have dealt with in the last few years). This place is so great, one time my insurance didn't cover a prescription so he called the doctor and asked if they could please just prescribe me an alternate that my insurance would cover and they did it right away they took care of all this on their own & within an hour! I've been going here for two years and sometimes I don't like writing reviews for personal things like medical facilities or a pharmacy - but this place is so top notch they totally deserve a five star review. read more

Went here at 9:15am (weekday) because our Doctor sent our prescription here right after our baby's checkup. Doctor was under the impression that they would be open. The door itself says open at 9am The sign on the door days open at 9:30am They did not actually unlock and open the door until 9:48am There were several people in line behind me when they finally opened. They seem a bit understaffed to handle everyone in a timely manner. Other than that, they were very friendly and were able to fill my prescriptions at a good price. read more

My doctor's office faxed 3 prescriptions to Wellness pharmacy on 3/4/2020. Now it is 3/18/2020, I still have not received any medications. One of medication is antibiotic pill for face infection. Since other 2 face cream were denied by insurance company. I called 2nd time to ask for antibiotic to be sent first. One of pharmacists said they will mail to us next day, but nothing came in for 1 week. Wellness pharmacy keeps telling me they faxed to my doctor's office to get alternative creams, but my doctor's office said they have not received any faxes. Wellness pharmacy does not call my doctor's office for any follow-ups. i can not believe this place gets all 5 star reviews on Yelp. read more

Thanks the gods for this Pharmacy! If you are tired of paying outrageous prices for Medicine (just because they can charge what they like) then check this place out. This is no joke I went to Rite Aid and they were going to charge me over $600 + for a 3 months of a medication that's been around for 30 years! My Doctor was sure they must of had a system error. When I asked them to recheck, it was still the same price and in fact without insurance it would have be $900 +. At the Wellness Pharmacy I paid $25.00 dollars for a one month supply of the SAME MEDICINE! I could not believe it.... what is wrong these people, that they can get away with marking up a medicine so much is beyond belief. I paid the mark up once (that's what I get for not shopping around) No more! I've been at Rite Aid for over 15 years - I'm done -. I've move all my Pharmacy business to Wellness! read more

The gentlemen working there were very polite and helpful. Have only used them twice so far (but 3 trips). However, have 2 complaints: 1. SHOPPING COMPLEX: They advertise on their web site that they have a private parking lot. First, the lot is extremely small for the number of businesses in that complex; both times I waited (a) for cars blocking entrance (their getting a spot was more important than those lined up on Bascom Ave). Getting out of that lot and back onto Bascom is nothing less than Russian roulet; it is very dangerous. You also suffer excessive horn blowing because you are backing up those who want to get into the lot. Sure wish they'd figure out something better. I don't want to get killed and/or harrassed just getting into a parking spot. 2. PRESCRIPTION ERROR: I had a prescription for a compounded cream. The first time it was good, so much so that I was quick to get a refill on it. Second time I got it home and found that it had NOT been thoroughly compounded and "creamed" leaving me with a "gritty" salve that I could not use. When I returned it, they were quick to further complete the compounding, but this caused me an extra trip all the way from Milpitas to Los Gatos to have this done. I'll probably continue to use them, but only as long as I get good serve and the correct prescription. read more

So I work in the same building as Wellness. I have NEVER been anywhere but CVS before and I have a brand name RX I have to get every month. I figured since I work in the same building as Wellness, I'd go over there and see if I can start filling my RX there since it's so convenient. I pay $50 every month for my RX. Very sweet man (I didn't get his name) helped me and told me that there are coupons online to help me with the cost lowering it from $50 to $25. At the end of him looking up and transferring all of my information he informed me that there is a GENERIC form of my meds and my copay is $10. From $50 to $10!!!! I have asked CVS multiple times for a generic form of this medication!!!! I haven't even gotten my medication yet from Wellness but already the customer service and price is MUCH BETTER! I think 5 stars are not enough for this pharmacy because it deserves more than 5 stars! Excellent fast service. I went there to buy some over the counter stuff. I had a nagging problem going on for some time that I mentioned to the pharmacist who seemed to be very down to earth guy. He referred me to a nearby primary care/urgent care clinic by the name of CRESCENT MEDICAL CENTER at 2504 Samaritan Drive. Oh man, it was the best advice somebody had given me in a long time. I came back to the pharmacy, and the service was swift and excellent. I also came to know that the pharmacy also delivers to your door step without any extra charge, and this pharmacy is also a compounding pharmacy. Being a smaller pharmacy, the overhead is low that reflects in lower prices that you can compare with Costco, and the wait is less. I will recommend this pharmacy to everyone. Way better than dealing with a mainstream pharmacy. The staff here consists of the pharmacist and sometimes his assistant, yet they still handle the clients faster than larger pharmacies. The staff is also always friendly which makes is more enjoyable dealing with them. This is also a compounding pharmacy which means if they don't have something, they can make it. I have never been so impressed with a pharmacy before I started going to this one. I've been coming here every two weeks to get different medications for the past 2 months and they have had everything I needed and I didn't have to wait more than 10 min for them. It's so convenient because this pharmacy is close to my doctors. it's a little far from where I live but atleast I don't have to pick up another day because they have things in stock unlike other pharmacies. Conveniently located just off 85 North and South and right next door to Subway and Starbucks. Service here is quick and excellent customer service. Cuong, the owner is good at explaining new prescriptions and the best way to take them. Wellness Pharmacy also offers mail in service. You just call ahead of time and they will mail it in front of your doorsteps so you don't even have to drive there. What excellent service. They take all insurance and open 6 days a week. HORRIBLE!! Cuong was ALWAYS LATE! DONT USE THIS PHARMACY IF YOURE IN A HURRY! It's ok if you show up late in the day but if you're there @9, you'll WAIT & WAIT & WAIT. I was late for work a number of times & then he would fill a couple of my pills at a time & then forget how many he had given me. Finally the last time I was there, he said he had given me more than he actually had & completely embarrassed me so much so that I'll never go there again. I emailed him to prove HE WAS WRONG. It's already hard for me to fill my prescription due to shortage & I am already sensitive about needing the medication to begin with & I THOUGHT of all people, he would have understood that but instead chose to humiliate me.
