I discovered this pharmacy after the RiteAid I had used for years closed. After a little research, I found this place, which was close to home and very different from RiteAid or CVS. If you are looking for a store with everything from socks to toys, then you should stay with one of the big places. But if you just want to pick up your prescription or an OTC remedy and skip the crowds and lines, this is your place. The two pharmacists are well informed and so helpful. They have answered my questions about allergy meds and pointed me in the direction of an OTC remedy for sunburn that was so soothing and effective. They do have a few odds and ends--a rack of greeting cards in case you need one at the last minute, and maybe some candies or gum--but this is mostly where you go to pick up your Rx or OTC remedies. You will find the personalized and friendly service refreshing. I feel so lucky to have found them. read more

Didnt take my good rx discount even though it was advertised online as having the largest discount out of all nearby pharmacies. Tried to make me pay $75 for a three month birth control pack, which is absurd considering i could get it for free at a planned parenthood. Slow service and not very accommodating. read more

I must say I just found a most delightful, laid back, friendly and professional pharmacy. I was actually referred to this most delightful Jewel by my primary oral surgeon. The name of this Pharmacy is called Camden Pharmacy and it is located at 3189 South Bascom avenue, in Campbell California 95008. The pharmacist I met there for the first time is an independent pharmacist and he goes by the name THUAN VO. He was very friendly, thoughtful and professional and I will definitely be going back! I especially appreciated his down to earth and easy going manner which made me feel as though I have known him for years!!The fact that he processed my prescription orders in professional and expedient manner was definitely an added bonus!! Camden Pharmacy is definitely one of my new and favorite places to do business and I will definitely be referring this place to my doctor's, my dentist, my family and friends and of course I will personally be going back!! Zero stars... The pharmacist is the least helpful person I have ever met. Don't waste your time going here. I've tried him twice... And learned unless you are paying full cash price , he will give you so much hassle.. Very unprofessional.. Not accomadating. I had a major surgery with several doctors involved I am a registered nurse and have never come across someone so unkind. I tried him twice... Never again. Both times the pharmacy is empty.. I had a prescription that Safeway pharmacy couldn't get it, telling me it's been backordered for two months, and that it wasn't likely that I would be able to get it anytime soon. I called Camden Pharmacy and Tuan told me that not only could he get it, he probably had some in the shipment arriving that day! I stopped by the next day to pick it up and he remembered my name without ever having met me and before I told him what I was looking for! I guess he knows his customers THAT well that he knew I was new and maybe recognized my voice so put two and two together. I had assumed that a place like Safeway pharmacy would have much better access to drugs due to volume buying power, but apparently that's not necessarily the case for all medications. In short, I had waited three weeks for Safeway to get something that wasn't likely to come in anytime soon, and Tuan got it for me the next day. read more

Today I needed iron supplements, and the pharmacist surprisingly came out from behind the counter to show me where they were! My son had a horrible stomach ache and we stopped by the nearest pharmacy which happened to be this one. The guy at the counter went above and beyond to help find what we needed. They didn't have kids pepto so he did research to see what could be substituted and told us half a tablet of tums contains the same amount of calcium carbonate as the kids version. I feel bad that I need to downgrade, but there were already 2 times that I came there first thing in the morning and the place was closed. They're supposed to be open at 9:30. On the first time I waited for about 15 minutes before the owner (?) showed up and apologized there was traffic. OK, things can happen, I get it, no harm done. Several weeks later again I went there at 9:30, and again, the placed is locked. This time I waited almost 25 minutes until owner showed up, mumbling something about traffic and not even apologizing. Now that I see this is a pattern, I am not as understanding. Either change the opening hour to 10AM, leave earlier to get there in time, or get someone who lives closer by to open. But please don't disrespect your customers' time. read more

I LOVE this pharmacy!!! Michelle is the sweetest pharmacist ever! I have been to the Target, CVS, Walmart and Walgreens pharmacy and this is by far the best pharmacy i have been to. The prices for pretty much everything in this store are much cheaper. And its because she is the owner and worker in there so she is able to keep costs down. They have travel packs, vitamins and everyday items for a very affordable price. She takes the time to explain each and every thing to you as you get your medication. She is so patient with the seniors and older customers. There are also senior discounts as well. They also have free bottled water as you walk in for all their customers. I quickly switched my prescription medication to this location. Its local and has such a warm feeling to it. read more

The Camden Pharmacy is always helpful and even saved us some money on a prescription. Once notified of our refills they are ready that day. Sometimes he even has our regular Rx filled in advance if we have refills available. BEST service I have ever had.
