Pretty standard across CVSes, but the people who work in the pharmacy really seem to hate their lives. Which is not unreasonable because I'm sure they get a lot of impatient or confused or angry customers. And it seems like their computers/online system is really garbage because it always seems to be taking forever to start or frozen or not working somehow--CVS Pharmacy, invest in better infrastructure, for god sakes! So needless to say, if you arrive at a time where there is any sort of line, it will take you forever to get your prescriptions. I feel like a good idea would be to have 2 lines: one for people who are going to be just in and out with their prescriptions and then a second for people who have questions. Pharmacy has poor customer service. Pharmacist was unwilling to help with my issue and turned her back in me. It's unfortunate.

Pharmacy assistant is the worst. customer service is the worst here. I went up to the counter to ask a question stood there for 10 minutes. Pharmacist looked at me three times as she continue to put backstock away. Never said I'll be right with you. Not until another person came behind me in the line. She finally stopped what she was doing and asked if we need help of course we need help! We're standing at the counter. I Don't know too much about the pharmacist here he was helping a customer. This place is awful. I dropped my prescription on Saturday. The pharmacist said she was too busy to fill it so come back Sunday. I arrived on Sunday and waited for a rush which took 90 minutes. Clerks text while talking to me. They actually asked me if I wanted to come back on Monday. read more

I had low expectations because it's a CVS and I needed basic things for a sinus infection, but the people working here were incredibly helpful. They even made recommendations of other options when they saw I was holding a porcelain neti pot, which I really appreciated because I wasn't looking for porcelain and it's like they read my mind. I needed help and wasn't in the mood to ask for it, since I was masked and sick, but they were there helping me before I could even look around for help. Usually I don't have an issue with CVS pharmacy but just had the most confusing and frustrating process trying to refill a prescription for my daughter. Put through a request on a Thursday, spoke to a live pharmacist who said they would place an order that afternoon but it likely wouldn't be ready until Saturday. (Not ideal, but also not a big problem.) Received an automated text Friday morning with a status update that it'll be ready on Saturday after 3pm. (Great!) On Saturday I received another automated text stating they're reviewing my refill request and will provide an update. (Weird, thought it was all set to be processed.) When I spoke to another pharmacist, it was like we were speaking different languages. I was talking about the original refill and they were referring to another (which I had not requested). Even as I pointed that out, they continued to talk about the one I hadn't requested to the point that I wondered if I had the name wrong and questioned my information. Now Sunday, I have researched it on my daughter's patient portal to confirm the name of the medication, and called again. Spoke to yet another pharmacist, who stated that they received something from our dr authorizing the refill for the prescription we didn't request (because it's too expensive). I had to try hard to communicate that the dr's authorization was in response to a request they initiated on their own and wasn't for the medication we needed, and they finally confirmed that they would put that on hold. (I just didn't have the energy to clarify that they could cancel it altogether.) He confirms that he is placing the order for the right medication TODAY, 3 days after it supposedly was ordered by a different pharmacist and a day after it apparently was ready to be picked up. And after all that, I hung up with no sense that their procedures and systems dropped the ball. Ridiculously hard to get a prescription refilled this time around...so frustrating! read more

One of the worst Pharmacy's there is ..wife and i have nothing but problems at this pharmacy and its getting worse every time we go in there. Either they can't figure out yr prescriptions or you can not understand what they are saying. The manager also has a bad attitude. We can't wait to relocate or Pharmacy...I have had at many times the teller just walking away. they have also added my account to other members account were it was conflicting with my insurance... I cried tears of joy leaving your pharmacy today. I was told by my doctor I needed to wait up to several weeks for pre approval of a very expensive medication. My symptoms were so bad I came in on day 3 to pay the retail price. Sahar, the pharmacist, called the doctor and insurance to expedite the approval process. I am so grateful. I just received a flu shot at cvs 2069 Camden ave and the pharmacist named Esraa E. refused to change her surgical gloves when I asked her to. I watched her count pills with the gloves, then I saw her use her phone with the same gloves on, she prepared vaccines for me and the lady before me with the same gloves on, she gave a patient before me an injection with the same gloves and then she gave me an injection with the same exact gloves on!!!!. The gloves were dirty, stained and her thumb's fingernail was sticking out of a hole in the gloves. When I asked her to change her gloves for sanitary reasons she refused telling me that it was not required of her. I went to the cdc website and it clearly said if gloves are used to give injections then they must be changed between patients. This is what Cdc said "Persons administering vaccinations should follow appropriate precautions to minimize risk for disease exposure and spread. Hands should be cleansed with an alcohol-based waterless antiseptic hand rub or washed with soap and water before preparing vaccines for administration and between each patient contact (1). Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations do not require gloves to be worn when administering vaccinations, unless persons administering vaccinations have open lesions on their hands or are likely to come into contact with a patient's body fluids (2). If worn, gloves should be changed between patients." This pharmacist DID not clean her hands between patients and she wore the same gloves while doing a dozen different tasks! Dat the new pharmacy cashier was friendly, but I'm still in shock about those dirty gloves. read more

Believe the BAD ratings! The pharmacy is terrible. We came multiple times in one day to get a simple prescription filled. Long lines, only to be told to come back in an hour again. Pharmacist didn't care that we had sick kids at home and have made multiple trips. In our previous experience at the pharmacy, we also had issues waiting and them filling in a timely manner. Avoid, avoid, avoid. When you or kids are sick, you cannot afford to waste so much time. read more

I asked Siri to lead me to the nearest Chase ATM and she obediently led me to the ATM located inside the CVS store. The store wasn't very busy and thanks to the super visible Chase logo outside the window, I knew there was indeed a Chase ATM inside the store and followed the logo to yank out my cash. I decided to check out some snacks and an employee saw me, greeted me, and asked me if I needed help. I declined, but told her thanks for the offer. I quickly got what I needed, got in line, and was assisted promptly and efficiently. Be sure to sign up for the CVS card. I was able to get Arizona canned teas for $0.50 each! Super rude pharmacist (Asian lady, long hair, always heavy makeup with false eyelashes). I made an appointment for vaccination at this location and went there on time. She looked so frustrated today (I don't know why, you are having a bad day maybe??) and I told her I have an appointment. With a scornful tone and attitude, she said "we don't take any appointment here." Well, I made an appointment online. I showed her my appointment confirmation email. She again looked so frustrated, slapped her desk and told me they don't have the vaccination I want and I should go to other locations. I shop here mostly for a flash pass. I use to come here for my prescription, but now that I have Kaiser I no longer do. The pharmacy staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I especially like their rewards program. Just scan your card and you get a coupon instantly. Yay! read more

Worst customer service. I've never encountered such unprofessional people at a CVS. I bought some makeup based on a sale tag. When I noticed that the sale didn't ring up, the cashier told me the items aren't on sale this week. I offered to go check the shelf and look at the tag to see if I missed something. I read the small print and realized it had expired weeks earlier (it read: please remove 9/24). I took the tag off thinking it wouldn't matter (it expired 2 weeks ago). The cashier proceeded to whisper to her co worker about how customers shouldn't touch the tags, and claimed there's nothing she could do. Her co-worked implied that since I took it off the shelf, I may have just brought it from home... I told them if it was such a hassle, I would just return my items. They begrudgingly gave me the discount as if they were doing me a huge favor. I will never run my errands there again. read more

CVS average hold time - 20 minutes. Legally can't release controlled substance without a pharmacy consult if its a new prescription #, even if the patient has been on this medication for years or decades. Today, for the first time ever, this pharmacy enforced this law. However, the pharmacist was at lunch, and there is no pharmacist brought in to cover her during her lunch, so the customer, as always, has to leave and come back. Now, more than ever, when we have to don masks to enter the store, this is massively inconvenient. Either it is a law, or it is not a law. I'm appalled at the complete lack of customer service At this location. You've got to answer the phone!!! Don't you realize many people don't have the luxury of being able to stand in line in order to have a prescription issue resolved? I called at different times of the day only to hear some horrible stressed out voice bark "HOLD !!!" and immediately put me back on hold to suffer through 10 to 16 minutes of their extremely annoying in your face rotation of hold announcements. Pharmacist: make yourself listen to this for a solid 10 minutes and you'll get hives... To make matters worse: after several attempts I finally contacted to store manager to let him know how awful this was: he apologized and took down my information including the issue I needed to have resolved. He admitted the pharmacy was even more short staffed and the pharmacist was alone. I asked him to have her modify her tone of voice instead of barking HOLD!!!!, and maybe take two extra seconds to explain the extra long hold times. The manager agreed this wasn't good customer service but guess what? No follow up back to me on my urgent issue, not even when I sent him an email a day later and when I tried the pharmacist the next day it was business as usual: "HOLD!!!!!" read more

I changed to this pharmacy because of the bad experiences I had at Safeway on Hamilton Ave. My first 4-5 visits here were a very pleasant experience until last Wednesday. On my 6th. visit I experienced or witnessed poor attitude toward a customer, bad customer service and worst of all the lack of patient confidentiality. Are all chain pharmacies this way?? I can be sympathetic they are over worked and under staffed but it's counter productive to take it out on a customer. read more

This Pharmacy staff is AWESOME. I transferred all of my prescriptions to them from the non-caring, incompetent, staff at the Willow Glen store. Lynne (Pharmicist), Cindy, and Kevin, are the regulars behind the counter and could not be more efficient and accurate. CVS is lucky to have kept these folks after it bought out Long's. I do not know the rest of the staff, but every member of the pharmacy staff is very impressive. read more

I absolutely love this CVS. My doctor recently wrote me a prescription for acid reflux medication. That left me with a problem. I had purchased 3 boxes of Nexium which I could not find the receipt for. I brought them in to this CVS and spoke to the manager about the situation. Shocker of all shockers, he graciously accepted the Nexium for return and issued me a gift card. read more
