Rofl I got locked in this place. I entered the store, and a security guard immediately locked the door behind me. I was like wtf!? He said the cashier is in the bathroom and he has to lock the door, but wouldn't let me out. So I'm standing there, people are coming up and knocking on the glass and I'm just shrugging and trying to say he's in the bathroom. I've been visiting the 7-11 store at 188 N. 6th Street-San Jose; for almost 4 years. It's the closest to my home. I mostly go to buy my Super Lotto tickets. For the last 6 weeks or so the young clerk working there taps the screen on the Lotto machine and although I provide the slip with the pre-selected lottery numbers he hands me a "Quick-Pick". I asked for my money back and he said "no money back". Same guy, for the last 6 weeks- he wears a head-turbin. I plan to file a complaint with the Lottery Commission about this. If you buy your tickets there, check your numbers before you pay him. read more

Worst 7eleven ive ever been to in my life! 7eleven is usually my favorite store. This particular store is Dirty! And, Always out of coffee,vanilla cappuccino,hot chocolate,cold brews,pretty much everything you go to 7 eleven for. I used to come here often in my late teens and during my college years at SJSU. This place has changed hands a few times, but with each new owner the quality of service has remained the same. Next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll be sure to stop by for any need they provide. read more

If I could put 5 stars I would but they don't have Tostitos pizza rolls. Place is in a wealthy side of town so it's always easy going inside and seeing the homies. Theres always friendly and indigenous people outside hanging around drinking 40s. If you got a five martha will do wonders. No sure if they still have a redbox but someone might eat the box if you feel me. read more

The big black dude who works at the counter is phenomenal. He's like a big teddy bear and you just want to hug him. Well...maybe not quite hug him... but you get the jest! Anyways you don't get any sort of uneasy feeling walking in the door, like you sometimes do when you walk in a hole in the wall liquor store or 7-11 (the women know what I mean). The place is a cool spot to grab a snack, (icee machine is usually working,and the hot dogs always look good) So the last dude to comment was right; this location is much more clean then the one next to State, and the traffic is much more tame. Like all 7-11's in San Jo, the cops are always around drinking coffee, eating donuts and looking for unsavory characters (I suspect). read more

Soni came in to buy my daughter and niece a slurpee we walk to the slurpee machine just as my daughter passed by 2 stacks of boxes fell, keep in mind she didnt even touch the boxes. I told them its not safe they need to take care of it then this other guy comes out from around the counter and pushes another set of boxes and almost hit my daughter, my daughter is 2 years old wtf is this guys deal and when i confront him about the situation he doesnt look at me and keeps trying to roll his eyes. read more

Oh no- homeless people hang out in the parking lot. Can you imagine that in a city with over 4200 homeless people? Look folks, it's 7-11. No food I'm 7-11 is good, hot or healthy. It's a go-to place if absolutely need something and since the Walgreens is closing it may be your only option. This 7-11 has drinks and snacks. That is what a 7-11 does. For that it gets 4 stars. Even being downtown, I don't feel like there are a lot of options for places that are open around the clock. That's super important to me since I'm a night owl and never know when I'll get a craving for a Slurpee or some other horrendously unhealthy snack food. Enter: 7-Eleven! They're open 24 hours a day, minus a short period of time when the one overnight clerk takes his lunch break. This is usually around 2:30am or 3am, so you might want to call first if you're planning a trip over there around that time. They have a decent amount of (non-liquor) booze, including some microbrews and Mike's Harder ciders (do NOT try the apple cinnamon one - it's atrocious), several self-serve fountain machines (including one offering mocha iced coffee), tons of snack foods, a decent frozen food section, and a hot food section by the registers. You can also stock up on more gluttonous of items, like lotto scratchers and cigarettes. read more

Some of the homeless dudes are chill and you should buy them food. Some of them aren't chill, just like the rest of us. You should still buy them food if they're hungry and you have cash to spare. However, the guys in there tried to rip me off to make (literally) an extra buck on two separate occasions. This time, they charged $4.04 for a $1.99 Rice Krispy Treat and a $0.99 (plus $0.05 tax) Arizona Iced Tea. When I asked where the extra dollar came from, he said the Rice Krispy Treat was actually $2.65. I asked why there was a 33% sales tax on Rice Krispy Treats (he's still up 40 cents). He then offered me a banana instead of refunding my purchase. Bananas are 2/$1 so they still ended up ripping me off 50 cents. Pretty cheap way to treat someone who has been coming in almost daily for eight months. read more

Went to this location front windows show sandwiches hamburgers waffle breakfast sandwich went inside Ask cashier where the hamburgers chicken burgers and waffle sandwich we're located he says they do not make them and shrugged his shoulders only thing available or hotdogs and a few hotlinks asked what days they would make the sandwiches he says they don't why have stickers on the windows if you do not serve this food believe this is a bait and switch get you in the store you are already in there so you'll buy something when you only have a half hour lunch read more

i usually come here and , usually the employees are really nice some of them help you with change for that reason i give them a 4.but today my brother bought mil from there and the milk was rotten it when it not supposed to be after we complained about the milk they gave us a new one wich i am happy with although they should have checked.overall place is good,and also we coulve checked aswell read more

This 7-11 is the pits. 9 out of 10 times, when going there to get a Slurpee, the machines are NOT working properly. Mgmt needs to pay more attention to the maintenance of the Slurpee machines. Will be going to Walgreens to get Icee instead. read more

Worst place ever. I don't go in there, because I'm tired of those rude Indian cashiers. They don't like black people. I come in there, and they look at me like I'm invading their country. I walk six extra blocks just to go to another store. That owner is losing a lot omoneyf money. read more

Miss the people that use to work there, the younger guys that work at evening play load rap music( cussing) not fond of it , due to I take my 9 yr. old for slurped runs, other than that they always have a smile(depends when you go) the new manager is cool, nice guy.
