This is my local Walgreens. What I love is there are always a tons of clearance items here, ALWAYS. What I don't love? Almost everything I come to purchase is locked up! It makes shopping difficult, because I always have to track down multiple employees to do my shopping. What I love? The employees! They're always pretty friendly no matter how understaffed they are. And I guage how much I like a new employee to their response when I ask if they know my childhood friend, Daniel. It's Daniel who makes shopping here the best: no fake small talk, no intention of fake customer service, just real, raw, wonderful interactions. What would make this place five stars? Honestly, the employees always do. But occasionally I watch certain policies enforced that make me cringe, so I'm fairly certain it's just tough for me to GENUINELY support a major corporation. Came here for Taiwan passport photos and they have a desktop with user friendly screen to specify 4.5 cm tall × 3.5 cm wide photos. It automatically sizes crown of the head to the chin to be within spec. Submitted photo along with application to TECO and didn't have any problem with photo. Note: TECO is very picky about both ears appearing on the photo especially for ladies. read more

No matter what I get from the store (medication, toiletries, snacks/drinks, etc.), the purchasing process is almost always super slow. I'm referring to the front register, not the pharmacy in the back (though I do often see lines and waiting there too). They only ever use one register at the front. If there's a slow customer in front of you, the workers do nothing to resolve the issue or expedite the transaction. And the employees just work slowly, talk slowly, move slowly, press buttons slowly, ask unnecessary questions, cause unnecessary delays... everything is just absurdly slow. This has not changed over the last decade. There can be just one person in front of you at this Walgreens, and it will still take longer than a line of 10 times that many customers elsewhere. I came on Tuesday afternoon to pick up some cold medicine cuz I was feeling under the weather, and yep service is just as inefficient as always. I had planned to get my go-to DayQuil, but then I saw that Mucinex offers its own fast-max version of all-in-one liquid gels and opted to try that instead, so at least they had a variety available to choose from. Still, I only come here when I urgently need something (since it's closeby to where I work). I would avoid this store at all costs otherwise. read more

Made an appointment for vaccination and visited. Arrived an hour before appointment time, and checked in. but even we waited an hour to be vaccinated... preparation is not done. There is no one else waiting. When I made a complaint, they told me they don't know when it will be ready. It takes a long time to bring it back to room temperature.　meaningless to make an appointment and checking in early. Worst store in operation. It is better to go elsewhere. read more

This Walgreens is located in the same parking lot where TP Tea is located. Since that place frequently has long lines, you can spend some time at the Walgreens next door! Which is what I did. I actually downloaded the Walgreens app so that I could get a coupon for a specific item in the store. Thanks to their helpful price tag it told me that there was a coupon on their app. Funnily enough the cashier was also telling me about the app and how people don't seem to know that coupons exist on the app. She was very nice and also informed me that I had $2 Walgreens rewards to redeem which was fantastic. I generally don't go to Walgreens that much if a CVS is there since I feel like Walgreens prices are much higher and I don't see 40% off coupons from Walgreens ever... or maybe I'm just not diligently checking? read more

They're understaffed at this pharmacy. It's really sad The workers don't take it out on customers but oh my god it's usually awful and today was especially disorganized. There was an issue with processing my insurance so I was told to go in for them to fix it for me. I spent about 15 minutes in line waiting for my turn (1 customer at the drive thru and two in of me). Once they fixed whatever issue it was, they told me I need to wait another 15-20 for them to get the medicine ready, which is fine. Maybe about 10 minutes later, they call me to get back in line to pick up my prescription. There are 2 people in front of me and 1 person in the drive thru (different people this time). They spent maybe 10 minutes helping the first person in line, then helped the person at the drive thru. They spent probably 20 or more minutes rummaging through every container A-Z to find this man's prescription, it was HECTIC the line behind me just kept getting longer and longer! I was getting anxious FOR the workers. Then they finally help the person in front of me who was simply there for vaccinations and that took maybe 15-20minutes as well. We were all so over it. So yeah... Over an hour of waiting to get my meds. I've experienced super long waiting periods while in the drive thru as well. This is not an isolated experience. read more

This pharmacy refused to refill. My inhaler because they felt I was using it too much. it is a rescue inhaler, but apparently, they think they no more than my doctor. Therefore, I will no longer be using this place. They also declimbed or delayed my refill. After my doctor released ithey feel they know more than my doctor. They also said they are not responsible if anything happens to the fact that I no longer have my rescue inhaler. I contacted their corporate office. And the day went with no information from my Doctor or myself and went with the pharmacist. He must have been in medical school. For a long time to be able to make these decisions. I had a vaccine appt there today and had to wait 45 mins. When I arrived, the woman at the pharmacy asked me to fill out the part of the form she highlighted. After I returned it to her, 5 mins later she got upset with me, because I did not fill out the rest of the form. As if that was my fault?! I complained to the pharmacy manager, Daryl, about her, but he gave me this vibe like he was not going to do anything about it. Live close-by so use this pharmacy but I would really prefer moving elsewhere. The people are lazy and don't care about the customers and have 0 value for time. Finally, another clerk rescued the sale by saying, "Yes, we do." Not only did she get the tank, she loaded it in the trunk. Train all employees. So as a general pre-photo received note; i'd be great if you don't mislead customers about the timeline with the note that is stuck to your film drop off box. Either change the info on the box, or verbally let customers know when they order. After two visits (2nd visit was today) i was told that it actually takes about two to three weeks to get your film photos back. Nobody told me that until today. If I could give 0 stars, I would. My boyfriend and I had a flight to Hawaii and we went through this Walgreens pharmacy to take our COVID test. Given that they're one of Hawaii's trusted partners, you would assume they would have an effective process in place that would guarantee our results back within 1-2 days. They don't. My appointment was on a Thursday at 4:30pm. When I pulled up, I saw 2 other pharmacists there, but no one came to assist me. It took 10-15 minutes before somebody actually noticed I was there and asked how they were able to help. How ridiculous is that? Fast forward to Saturday afternoon, neither of us had gotten our results back. We called the lab and they mentioned that they hadn't received our sample yet. We then called Walgreens and they said that our samples should've already been picked up. Our flight was the next day at 8am, which basically left us scrambling trying to find a last minute COVID test appointment. We ended up each paying $170 for a rapid test. It's now been officially 9 days since taking our COVID test through Walgreens and this morning was when both my boyfriend and I finally got our results back. Even if we weren't going to Hawaii, this isn't okay. What if somebody was positive and didn't know till 9 days later? Take it from personal experience, this Walgreen's pharmacy is extremely below par with very poor customer experience and I would never recommend them to anyone looking to get ahold of medicine or trying to take a COVID test. This is for the PHARMACY. I don't usually leave negative reviews but I have to in the hopes that MAYBE someone at Walgreens corporate will finally pay attention to us. Tons of issues here that I suspect arise from severe understaffing. Prescriptions sent in by doctors office are never even LOOKED at until you're physically standing in front of them. Then it's a "25 minute wait" which is usually more like 45. Things that should take 10 minutes take an hour. I've transferred everything possible out of this pharmacy just because they are so incredibly slow and unreliable. I have one (ONE) prescription hanging on that is finally ready (after 48 hours) and I went to pick it up at 8:24am today to find they are not yet open despite an 8:00am advertised opening time. HELP. Someone - anyone. This is the WORST pharmacy experience on the planet. It's a shame for such a big company in such a progressive place to be THIS bad. read more

ATTENTION ALL HAWAII TRAVELERS!! DO NOT DO COVID TEST HERE!!! Flight to Maui was this morning and instead of being on the flight, I'm here writing this review to warn all travelers of the potential headache, grief, and money lost because of Walgreens and it being on Hawaii's TRUSTED partners in covid testing. This is far from the truth. For anyone whose traveling to Hawaii you must get tested 72 hrs prior to departure time. We did this Friday at 4pm, our flight is at 930 Monday morning. Sunday morning comes around and test results are not in. We start panicking and calling the lab and going to Walgreens, calling the 1800 number as well. We specifically said the test is needed for traveling but no one there gives a shit. Bunch of clueless morons with blank expressions. Sunday morning we talked to someone working there in the pharmacy and FedEx didn't pick it up until Saturday evening. The specimen is sent all the way ACROSS the nation to TENNESSEE!! After they receive it, it'll then take 24-48 hrs for results. Any other covid tests we've taken have always delivered results in 1-2 days. Hawaii (Maui) has extremely strict covid rules that need a specific test (PCR/NAAT) which needs to be uploaded to a QR code. Forget going if you don't receive your negative test results in time because you will be quarantined on your vacation even if you receive it later. We scrambled trying to find a place which is at the airport and takes 12hrs to 2pm the following day to produce results and that wouldn't make it for the morning flight. Tried to call Hawaiian airlines and was on hold for 2hrs with no one picking up. Hotel is non refundable and booked thru Expedia so no help or refund from them. The AEGIS lab as of this morning still has NOT received the specimen. It is past the 72 hrs required. I wish I read the other reviews prior to doing the covid test here!! I'm writing this to warn everyone else here to go with another place (not drugstore) for guaranteed results. I find it absolutely CRAZY and OUTRAGEOUS that it has to get sent all the way to a Tennessee lab when there's plenty here to do it. I have NO IDEA why HaWaii has chosen Walgreens as a place to do testing. STAY AWAY if you value your vacation time and money!! Never again read more

This review is for the Walgreens Pharmacy Department. I went to the Pharmacy Department for 2 times the year 2024. Both times my needs were definitely not met. Initially, an Asian male with glasses pharmacist told me Walgreens does not accept my health insurance. I was told to basically leave the store by the Asian male pharmacy worker. I tried again later this year with another insurance. This time an Asian female without glasses raised the concern to her pharmacist. This Asian male without glasses pharmacist told me to basically leave the Walgreens store. I don't think I feel safe coming to Walgreens Pharmacy at all at this point due to their immaturity, lack of professionalism, animosity, lack of trust, and no respect. Hopefully this review will lead Walgreens Pharmacy customers to go to another pharmaceutical company not Walgreens Pharmacy. I 100 percent do not recommend Walgreens Pharmacy. read more

When they are busy or things don't go smoothly, it all falls apart. * Twice recently they opened late with no apology or even acknowledgement of it to the waiting customers. These are the only times I've been there at opening time, giving me a very poor impression. * If there is more than 1-2 people in line ahead of you including drive through, expect 20-30 minutes or more to get through the line. * They have been out of our meds twice in recent history with no communication of delay. * The staff had no response when asked why we received no communication about out of stock meds. One even found it appropriate to say, "I don't know. I just work here." I will be taking my business elsewhere. read more

The pharmacist here whose name is Hyunjin told my brother who was sick and came in to pick up his prescription "you look healthy, you don't need this drug" and took the medicine prescribed by his doctor away from him. I am not sure why she can make such decision and comment to someone who is in need of help. That was rude. My brother got worse overnight, during the Chinese New Year Eve. Came in to get a typhoid shot for an upcoming trip. After waiting in a long line we get to the counter to have the person in the pharmacy tell us she's going on break in 2 minutes. Apparently there is no such thing as providing good customer service at this location. We were here before your "break" waiting in line. She could have informed people waiting in line for 15 minutes they were going on break. We now have to leave and come back for this vaccine. read more

We had a Covid test booked for 2pm and the drive through pharmacy had no one there by the time we arrived. We tried to call the store and no one was picking up and then we finally found out their meal break is supposedly 1.30-2pm but they didn't make it back until 2.10pm and even after we shared all our information with them they still taking their sweet time to just give us the kit. Writing this to balance other reviews, I have filled prescriptions for both my kids and myself. They call or msg when ready, drive through is a bit faster for pickup. But explaining is better in store. The wait inside is not bad, less than 10 min. I have to locations in san jose where it took 20-30 min. Call to check expiration, they pickup in 5 min or less Off counter medicines are good and well stocked. The generic brands are good and cheaper, tried eye drops, etc. Cosmestic incl. Scissors, Shaving supplies, greeting cards, etc are fantastic too Avoid the photo biz. read more

Do NOT USE THIS WALGREENS. I do not know if service gets any better at any other Walgreens, but I brought a new insurance card to this Walgreens when I changed jobs back in the summer. They where for three months charging my old insurance. I should have known how BADLY they pharmacist/technician had screwed up once I came mid September and every month thereafter had kept asking me for my "new insurance card." I told them that was ridiculous, that I had provided it to them months ago. They kept telling me no. I would LOVE for a manager or corporate to seek video tape to WATCH ME PROVIDE MY NEW INSURANCE CARD. (I know the date I went to pick up a script, that's the first day I gave the new card). I received a letter from a DEBT COLLECTOR because the insurance company from my previous job wanted the money for the scripts that they shouldn't have paid for! I was in shock! And now I have hoops I have to jump through and calls I have to make and despite having even BETTER insurance now, they of course want me to file MYSELF instead of allowing the COMPANY THAT SCREWED UP to file on my behalf, which is BS. Do not use Walgreens. If you are looking for a pharmacy, go to CVS inside the Target at Main Street. I have yet to encounter a line there and the pharmacist is extremely pleasant. Walgreens corporate--figure out how to do better by your customers, and if you want to follow up on just how bad this has been (and how many times I had to provide my card and EACH TIME THE PHARMACY DIDN'T lock the new insurance info in starting with the first time I gave it,) PLEASE by all means reach out. read more

Walgreens is a trusted Covid test site for Hawaii, however do not trust them to get your Covid test back in time for your flight. If you do it through them kiss you vacation goodbye. It's day 4 and I still don't have my test results (our flight left yesterday-within the 72 hour timeframe needed for the results). It's shameful that they don't post anywhere that their testing is delayed or tell you when you let them know it's for a flight. My test wasn't picked up for two days because FedEx already picked up at noon and they were closed the next day for Christmas. They just took my test like zombies that don't give a leap about other human beings. read more
