During our consultation she was pretty much trying to "judge" whats wrong with my skin/face and wanted to upsell facials and other treatments. She was very pushy and I didnt feel comfortable continuing anymore since I felt like I wasnt being heard and she said "you cannot start the treatments without committing to facials" despite explaining that I have an actual derm I see regularly. The whole interaction just felt very uncomfortable knowing that this lady whos not a medical professional is giving medical advice?? I have gone to other medspas and I am a nurse myself so I see what she was doing. Super weird interaction, she seemed like a sales person just wanting to get commission badly..

I had microneedling done in a different med spa before and remembered it being super painful, but this time I BARELY felt it, with the pain level of 4/10 at most. I can't wait to see my results and to go back for my next session. It was my first time coming to Skin Refine Medspa, and everyone there was so nice and welcoming. Needless to say, I am definitely coming back for other treatments, like Botox and fillers!

They send you a form to fill out and one of the medications I am on was flagged, so I had to get doctor approval. I totally understand that, but I had submitted the form almost a week before my appointment, and they didn't tell me it required doctor approval until the day before my appointment. I had to make a doctor appointment to get them to approve it, which made me miss my original appointment. It ended up being fine and I rescheduled, but it was frustrating that I only had one day notice about all of this. On to the actual appointment... it was a great experience. Much quicker and much less pain than I had anticipated. I was in and out within 10-15 mins. The space itself is inviting and clean, and the ladies at the front desk are so sweet!!! On my last visit, the front desk booked my next treatment without mentioning that I was actually out of credits. Normally, if you don't have credits, the system shouldn't even let them schedule you -- so I assumed everything was fine. Fast forward to this appointment, I finish my treatment and they suddenly tell me I owe around $450. I was honestly shocked. I told them I didn't authorize that and that I would've never come in if I knew I was out of credits. Instead of acknowledging that they forgot to tell me or offering a solution, they went ahead and charged my card anyway, saying it's "their policy." This could've been avoided if they were transparent and told me before booking my next session that I needed to buy more credits. It felt careless and honestly unfair. The way this was handled showed so much lack of transparency and zero accountability. Not good! I'm not happy w my results either so makes everything even worse for me.

I originally scheduled a Clear and Brilliant treatment and decided to explore additional options during my visit. Janeen made the entire experience exceptional. She greeted me warmly and even recognized me from visits years ago at the Mountain view location.. That level of attention made me feel valued as a long term client. Her professionalism, knowledge, and customer service stand out. She explained the new treatments clearly, including Potenza and Rejuran Pro, and answered all of my questions with confidence and care. Because of her, I purchased a new treatment package and look forward to getting started. I now live in San Mateo, and that location is less than ten minutes from my home. Even so, I am willing to drive to Mountain View for the level of service Janeen provides. LaserAway Mountain View is fortunate to have her on the team. I ended up paying much more than what was first mentioned, and once I signed the financing, I was told I could not cancel. They gave me no other option but to keep paying, whether or not I continued the treatments. On my last session, I suffered a burn on my leg. This shows not only a lack of professionalism but also how unsafe and careless their treatments are. A company that misleads clients about pricing, traps them in financing with no flexibility, and then delivers treatments that cause physical harm is completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Please think twice before trusting them with your health and money.

A few years ago I added Botox. Dr G was my first experience with Botox and she's wonderful. In the beginning she listened closely to what I wanted (to remove the ever deepening line between my eye brows) and she explained that to get a natural look involves considering how all the muscles move together. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. Now, when I come in she ensures I want the same constellation of injections and works off her recorded "map" of my face. Dr G is very good at Botox! The results are wonderful and she always reminds me of how to care for it (for example, no exercise that raises my heart beat for 24 hours). Dr G is also wonderful with patients. She's friendly, calm, patient, professional and very gentle with the injections. There's been no bruising. Her goal is to ensure you're satisfied and happy. Extremely unprofessional scheduling experience and terrible customer treatment. It's become nearly impossible to coordinate appointments with them. If the company is this overbooked and unable to support existing clients, they should stop selling large treatment packages upfront. Taking customers' money for year-long treatments and then making it difficult to schedule appointments feels extremely dishonest. I would strongly discourage others from purchasing packages here if they value their time.
