Her bedside manner, including a thorough consultation and discussion prior to any treatments, helped me feel like I was fully aware of all the options of the treatments and which is the best suited for me. I was pretty adamant from the start that I did not want any traumatizing treatments given that previous hydrafacials I had done caused PIH due to aggressive extractions. Kimmie was very kind, understanding and reassuring with my concerns. The facial was also great, and she talked me through all steps of it. I will definitely come back and will tell all my friends and family in the area to see her!

As an esthetician, Tina is very caring towards her clients and the process of the treatment is as clear as the outcome of your skin. She explains each step along the way, along with its credentials, and truthful effects of each product/device. She only uses the newest and best skincare technology and the results are not only immediate, but long lasting. Sometimes I even wish that my skin could not be as radiant so I could visit L'AMI more often than needed. Tina is very knowledgeable about dermatology and medical aesthetics, so she explains all the biological and chemical process of the skincare routine, which makes the treatment all the more reliable. I'm usually quite picky when it comes to anyone treating my face or my hair, or anything on my body for that matter but when it comes to Tina, all I need to do is lie down and relax. After my nap, it's a big VOILA!! And although there are good skincare clinics around the Bay Area, I always still have to wait a day or two to go out due to the residual redness. After my facials with Tina, I can just hop out and enjoy the rest of my day. She makes sure to apply the right serums and creams if you have work to continue in the daytime as well. No red marks and no swelling with her delicate hands. A big plus, her voice is so soothing and sweet! This is a facial experience in which you WANT to talk to your esthetician instead of napping because of her beautiful voice and skills.

Be very careful when paying! It's ridiculous that they expected a full tip for self-service. Usually, applying sunscreen is the final step of a professional facial, but they told me do it myself. You shouldn't have to tip for services you ended up performing on yourself. I'm very unhappy with the manager's attitude. The constant stream of calls and texts has become a real nuisance. Be careful and double-check your receipts here. I been here do my facial for 3+ years, I've been paying for three years, and this is the 'service' I get? MIIN is a Korean laser so I wanted to check out this technology. Heejung is an amazing RN. She is very careful and detailed with the process and super sweet. I also appreciate the way she applies the after treatment sunscreen, as she applies it thoroughly and also with outward and upward strokes to promote lifting of the skin and blood circulation. So far I have had 6 sessions and can see the noticeable fading of sunspots. Yes it takes quite a few sessions but it works (US has RNs for med spas whereas in Asia it's primarily MD only, so the types of allowable lasers and scope of practice is different). I also want to give a shoutout to Vicky who is also super sweet. She assists with consultations and scheduling and is very knowledgeable. She is also bilingual in mandarin for those with language barriers. Overall I recommend this type of laser and medspa :)

My skin looked super glowy afterward, and the extractions were excellent. However, I did find the price point quite high, especially since I'd expect that level of pricing from a larger, more luxurious salon that offers extra amenities like coffee or a fancy atmosphere. But navigating peri-menopause, heavy depression, and sudden weight loss all at once completely drained me. The weight loss made my face drop and lose so much volume, and I was feeling so old and ugly that I honestly regretted losing the weight in the first place. Louise has been an absolute angel through all of it. She actually listens, validates every single insecurity, and takes such incredible care of me. I've done 2 sessions of Sculptra and 2 sessions of fillers with maryam and jamieson. Sculptra is so gradual and looks completely natural. It's not about changing your face; it's just rebuilding what you lost. I know it's an investment, but it is so worth it. We waste so much money on daily coffee and little things without a second thought why not put that toward feeling good in our own skin. Even my husband was totally against me getting anything done at first because he was terrified I'd look fake. But seeing how natural, fresh, and glowing my skin turned out, he completely gets it now and is 100% on board with me keeping up with it.
