The interior is cute and all of the staff were very friendly. There's one kiosk at the front for self-ordering and a few tables inside. I got the Double Layer Coconut Pudding (Vegan) and the Coconut Ice Bomb with Watermelon. The double layer coconut pudding is my favorite, it has the perfect texture, coconut flavor and isn't overly sweet. The watermelon coconut ice bomb was so refreshing! I am a regular customer at Tong Sui and love their puddings. However, my experience at this localtion today was poor. I bought four puddings and was served by a person named Denny. I asked Denny very specifically, for the puddings to be packed with the cup holders because I was carrying them in a car. I pointed him to a larger tong sui bag that typically comes with the 4 cup holder to pack the puddings with the cup holder. Denny kept insisting they'd fit in the smaller bag he was holding up, and then went ahead and stacked them anyway, two in one row and two on top.This was after I told him more than once that I was driving, and that I'd already had a bad experience last time carrying them without a cup holder. He had this passive aggressive look, visibly annoyed and frustrated that I asked him to do again, the one thing I had asked him to do earlier. So I had to insist a second time and explain that yes, they fit in the bag, but that isn't the problem I'm trying to solve. He put them in the holder, stacked them on top of each other again mumbling under his breath the whole time, moving like it was a huge inconvenience and he was doing me some enormous favor. The very problem I was trying to solve is to prevent the jars from sliding out of the bag, because the bag tipped over. That was again not solved with this. I left the store soon, as I was feeling uncomfortable. This spoiled my experience. As a paying customer, nobody should have to face this experience. This person needs serious training on how to deal with customers. I love Tong Sui's puddings and drinks, but this left a genuinely bad taste in my mouth. Tong Sui charges premium prices for their puddings and drinks, but seems to be very stingy when it comes to packing, especially after a customer insists. I hope the manager actually takes this seriously and addresses the behavior instead of letting it slide. This is unacceptable, coming from a premium dessert shop like yours. read more

So dangerous that they opened a store at the pruneyard which makes it easily accessible after a workout class o.o That's exactly what I did with my friend Thursday night after a workout class LOL It was busy and the inside is quite small. We ordered on the kiosk and my friend got the mango mochi pudding. It was quite fast since the puddings in the fridge are on display in the front. Literally can't go wrong with any of their puddings at all! Top favorite definitely has to be the matcha red bean pudding and the mango mochi. I got the seasonal guava lemon drink and it took awhile to make. I was a bit worried that my drink might be too sweet due to the guava. However, it was perfect. As always, the coconut puddings were light and delicious - I tried the rosie lychee, strawberry matcha, and the mango mochi this time. My preference was the mango mochi but the strawberry matcha was also solid. The rosie lychee was fine, but rose flavor was quite mild. The puddings are not cheap - $10.95 each, and definitely best consumed as soon as possible, but a day or so in the fridge was perfectly fine. I appreciate they provide a nice bag to carry your drinks/puddings. They also have a selection of drinks as well (the TV monitors rotate so watch for them to see all the options or check the tablet/online) . You can order online, on the tablet in the store, or with the cashier, prep is pretty fast overall and the staff works through orders quickly. Interior is decently sized (bigger than some of their other locations) but limited seating, so mostly for to-go. Staff was friendly and quick to help. My husband and I visited around 2PM. We ordered the Mango Mochi Pudding ($10.95) and the Persimmon Mochi Pudding ($10.95). For the OG Campbell folks, this store took over the old juice bar and is located right next to Burger Lounge. The young gentleman working the cash register was friendly. I highly recommend the Mango Mochi Pudding. Everything from the fresh mango puree, the mochi, to the coconut pudding was extremely fresh and tasty. The Persimmon Mochi Pudding however was a completely different experience and not in a good way. It was extremely watery and the consistency of the persimmon puree, mochi, and pudding was nothing like the Mango Mochi Pudding. It was almost as if the jar had spoiled... Loved trying this new spot in the Pruneyard located between the toy store and burger spot. We were given a couple puddings to try. I opted to try the mango and the persimmon. Super tasty; I didn't even know that I liked pudding! I asked for a no caffeine option (because it was afternoon) which limited the menu quite a bit, but the nice girl at the counter recommended Pinky Coco as one of their popular drinks. It had a yummy coconut and pineapple/strawberry flavor and crystallized boba which is not the traditional chewy boba. It had more or a flavor that is like raw fruit. I wasn't sure if I liked it that much, but it grew on me as I sipped on it more and more. I think it's a healthier version of boba so I think it's a good alternative. There was a nice icee consistency at the bottom too which kept the drink at a perfect consistency and temperature on the hot day. My family chose to go with the strawberry chocolate pudding, and they all really liked that. The only negative was that they wouldn't accept the empty glass jars after they finished to recycle. They said they had to be cleaned which was a bummer to throw in the trash since we were going on a walk. I hope they can change this. Doesn't make much sense unless there is some weird health code for this. Overall, we loved our stop at Tong Sui. Fun to try a different form of boba, and the perfect treat on a hot day. read more
