A friend recommended me this and insisted it was too good. Surely the amount of people standing in the queue at 11 in the night on a saturday made me trust her rave reviews. So we stood there for more than 20 minutes in the line and I ordered chocolate pistachio crunch after tasting the flavor. It tasted like Dubai chocolate flavor . My friend took Belgian chocolate and chocolate pistachio crunch combination . Liked Belgian chocolate as well. Pricing was reasonable and they had kids sizes available for people like me who want to eat without having the guilt of the calorie intake . The interior decor was too classy to miss . All in all I like the place . May return here soon
Heard lots of good things about Bacio di Latte so decided to give it a try while in Santana row on a Saturday around 7pm. The store is pretty small with limited outdoor seating and we waited about 5 minutes in line before we were helped. I sampled a bunch of flavors and ended up getting a small cup of the Passionfruit and Giandujotto (chocolate hazelnut). The gelato was very tasty! Flavors really came through and packed a punch. Both were great and I thought the Passionfruit was very unique. The small cup comes with a good amount of gelato, but $9 felt like a steep price point. Since the gelato was high quality, I would consider returning if I am in the area
This gelato place was packed on a friday night! Way better than venchi inside valleyfair. The consistency is amazing! Creamy texture. Inside is a bit small, but there are some seating. Bacio Di Latte not only has gelato/sorbet, they have cookies on display! Interior is well decorated. Line went by fast as there were more than 5 employees. My friends got: -tiramisu -double triple chocolate -bluebery ricotta Great treat for after dinner!!
Bacio Di Latte is clearly popular...the line was a good indication before we even walked in. We tried the latte macchiato and the blueberry gelato, and both were good. The shop has a nice, modern look. The prices feel a little over the top considering the portions of both the coffee and gelato. Service was okay... the employee who helped us seemed disengaged and was basically on autopilot. Worth trying, but the overall experience didn't quite match the premium price.
Within a 2-mile radius, there are plenty of places serving good gelato, but Bacio di Latte always has a long line no matter what time of day. And honestly, there's a reason for it. Their gelato is simply amazing. Located at the end of Santana Row next to the AMC Cine Art theater, the shop is beautiful, bright, elegant, with wood tone furnitures, and always super clean. I've been here multiple times and usually wait around 15-30 minutes, but the line moves pretty efficiently. They usually have around 20 flavors with a mix of classics and seasonal options, and you can sample anything that catches your eye. My recent pick was a Piccolo Cup, half Torta Paradise and half classic Bacio di Latte vanilla. The gelato was so smooth, creamy, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients. Also, don't sleep on their Chocolate Chip Cookie! Thin, crispy, slightly chewy with marshmallow and such a good chocolate fragrance. I honestly didn't expect to love the cookie that much lol. The price is definitely on the higher side, but the quality matches. Staff is always working hard to keep that long line moving while still letting everyone sample and choose their flavors. Bacio di Latte has easily become one of my favorite gelato spots, and I'll continue bringing friends and family here whenever we're at Santana Row!
My partner and I visited Bacio Di Latte for a little weekend afternoon sweet treat in Santana Row. To my knowledge, this has more recently opened in the area, so we did have to wait in a bit of a line to order. We were able to sample some flavors first, and I appreciated the vegan options (albeit limited) in the gelato case. I ended up choosing the raspberry sorbet, while my boyfriend got the pistachio crunch (basically gelato with Dubai chocolate mixed in). The sorbet was good! Really nice texture, very fruity and fresh. My one gripe was that we felt our server was a bit stingy with our kid's scoop. Felt like we could have just used the money to purchase a whole pint to take home. Nonetheless, this was a really nice dessert. I would love to see Bacio Di Latte introduce more vegan flavors in their rotation!
I have seen long lines at this place. But recently we were here on a weekday for lunch and stopped by here for dessert. They let you try as many flavors as you like. I only tried two and I ended getting a small sugar cone with passion fruit swirl and strawberry cheesecake. You can get two flavors on a small size, three on medium and four for large. My hubby ended up with a single affogato. You can make it with decaf also but what's the fun in that. And of course you can choose the ice cream flavor - he got salted caramel. I'm not a huge espresso fan but I did have a bite and I liked the combo of salted caramel and coffee. I really enjoyed my fruity flavors. I would come back again but not sure I would wait in a long line for it. Also it's a bit pricey (but what isn't these days) so it's definitely a once in a while treat.
This place was so packed with a line out the door Sunday night, so I came back during the weekday when I was doing some shopping and there was no line I was helped well then they let me try a bunch of flavors. I liked the raspberry sorbet and the other standard chocolate one they had me try too, but prefer dark chocolate so I got the trio chocolate flavor. I would've tried more, but I didn't want to be too much of an annoyance. I got the trio chocolate which had chocolate bits, with strawberry sorbet without a cone, and it was good. The people who sat next to me, had some other waffle cones that they said that it was worth the money. This place is polish really clean super nice staff. In terms of the ambience this place took over the Korean chicken place that used to be here and it's pretty well maintained, it's really fancy with nice decor.

They have so many unique flavors, and I was obsessed with the Dubai chocolate! The service was also impressive. The line was long, but the team moved so quickly and efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly and everyone seemed happy. They also have cute patio seating out front, which is perfect for enjoying your gelato and taking in the lively atmosphere. My favorite part was turning my gelato into an affogato! I chose the Dubai chocolate and cookies & cream, then had espresso poured right over the top--and WOW. The combination was incredible. I'm already looking forward to coming back and working my way through all the other delicious-looking flavors!

We ordered three cups and tried the Pistachio, Dulce de Leche, and Chocolate Mint flavors. As for the customer service, it wasn't the best. The employee who helped us seemed hesitant when we asked to sample a few flavors. Since everything looked so good, we wanted to make the right choice, but we felt rushed. I understand the shop is very small inside, which may contribute to the fast-paced atmosphere. The shop has limited indoor seating but offers a nice amount of outdoor seating. Keep in mind that this gelato isn't cheap, so expect to spend a bit more than you would at a typical ice cream shop. Overall, we don't think we'll be back. It just wasn't for me. That said, taste is subjective, and trying different flavors might give you a completely different experience.

I absolutely love pistachio, but the nuttiness was so mild. I also thought this for their cappuccino and tiramisu flavors, which had a lot of potential. RECS: + Chocolate pistachio crunch had the most delicious crunchy chocolate bits, which carried the flavor for me + Strawberry shortcake took the cake! Bacio has officially become my guilty pleasure (and maybe a slight addiction ). I live close to Santana Row, so it's almost impossible not to stop by whenever I'm nearby. My absolute favorites are the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Ricotta Blueberry--both are so creamy and packed with flavor. I'm usually not a chocolate gelato person, but the Hazelnut Chocolate completely won me over. It's dangerously good! There's almost always a line, but don't let that stop you--it's 100% worth the wait. If you're at Santana Row, do yourself a favor and grab a scoop... or two!
What a great addition to Santana Row! The shop is located next to the movie theater and Mendocino Farms, with easy access from the parking garage right across the street. I don't get gelato too often, but after trying just about all of their flavors, I think that's about to change. They had such a fun and indulgent variety. They had chocolatey, fruity, fun options with mixins, and even vegan options, truly something for everyone. Picking one flavor would be nearly impossible, but luckily you don't have to, and can get up to four in one cup/cone! I got one of the chocolates, raspberry, pistachio, and a caramel one when I went. The pistachio transported me back to eating gelato on a beach in Europe even though it was a rainy day. The customer service is so warm, welcoming, and friendly. They encouraged me to try multiple flavors and didn't rush me at all. Excited to come back!

Love Bacio Di Latte - the closest thing we can get to gelato like the kind we had in Italy, here in the states. There was quite a line on a Saturday afternoon but to be expected for such a popular spot. The workers were very nice. The storefront itself was very clean and a fun aesthetic. read more

Yup, I'm back for the strawberry sorbet. I also tried the coffee flavor and cookies and cream flavor. Although tasty, they were on the sweeter side, and you could no longer taste the milkiness of the gelato. Still, this gelato shop is better than some of the ones I had in Italy! read more
Oooo this place is gorgeous. So beautifully decorated and the shelves look straight out of someone's home! The cookies are gigantic and I will have to try them next time, including the affogato. Piccolo (smallest size in a cup, up to 2 flavors $7.95): Love that the menu clarified how many flavors we can get with each size! I got pistachio and stracciatella, my gelato classics and it was a LOT of gelato. There are also options to top off with hazelnuts/pistachios (95 cents) or coated with Nutella/pistachio cream what!!! This feels like a proper Italian gelato shop and fits nicely in the Santana Row bubble. Excited to try more menu items! read more

I've been here 3x now it deserves a review! Welcome addition to the row and it's super popular with a line at the door even on weeknights! Open late too. Very bright and inviting indoors with so many flavors to choose from. I haven't seen a sign limiting how many samples one can ask for but I generally ask for maybe two. Seating inside and out. The tables are too close together inside though. Restroom available too. Staff are pretty nice and can recommend flavors if you're unsure. Flavors I've tried: Chocolate Pistaccio Crunch Stracciatella Chocolate Chip Cioccolato & Menthe Liana's Shortcake (strawberry jam) Greek Yogurt Raspberry Sorbet My favorite is the pistachio chocolate but it can get overly sweet because of the chocolate crunch pieces and pistachio gelato. Shortcake also gets sweeter over time but I loved the strawberry white choco crispies. I got waffle cones my first two visits and you can get one flavor for the regular size. Want even more sweet finishes? Get pistachio cream or chocolate hazelnut cream lined inside your cone or cup and/or add nuts too before they scoop the gelato in. During my third visit, I wanted something lighter so I got the Stracciatella & Menthe chocolate in a piccolo size cup (2 flavors allowed). Not as sweet as my prior choices. I sampled the Greek yogurt because one of the employees helping me said that's one of her favorites. It has the classic tart taste for sure and would go well with a fruity sorbet flavor. They also sell cookies! They have prepacked pints of gelato and you can customize a pint or a larger container to go. Will definitely return despite the high price tag. An absolute treat! I'm so happy another ice cream/iced treat place has opened up in the VF/Santana Row area. You can never have too many. The inside of the store is super cute and has a cozy vibe, there's also seating outside. The lovely employee let me sample as many flavors as I wanted. All delicious. I will say tho, they only had one person working the counter so we were waiting maybe 20-30 minutes. That does give me some pause as it was $9 for the smallest size plus the wait.. However. The gelato was tasty! It wasn't too sweet and it had the perfect amount of creaminess. I understand the hype now. I wish it wasn't so pricey but you can definitely taste the quality of ingredients. read more
Aesthetically beautiful! Plenty of Indoor and outdoor seating. Warm customer service. Clean store but bathroom out of order. The cookies and cream flavor was exactly what I wanted, nothing stood out to me though. I'd come back again and maybe try out their other unique flavors. I especially liked that you could still get the toppings and chocolate or pistachio drizzle even when you have a regular cup! Haven't seen that option anywhere else. Came here because it was like the only dessert shop nearby that was still open after 10pm on a weekday. Bonus points for that! However the gelato itself was just alright. It was SO expensive. It was like $15 for a large with waffle cone. We felt that there wasn't anything that special about it to justify that price. Also, it was way too melted, it started dripping before we even started eating it. Also, super sweet! We tried the mint chocolate, cookies n cream, and tiramisu, and the mint chocolate was definitely my favorite. Store is decently small, not too many tables inside but they have outside seating which is probably nice in the summer! read more
Bacio Di Late is a newly opened gelato shop in Santana Row. We went on a weekend and the line was very long. We waited about 30 minutes and finally got to the front. My husband got a hazelnut flavor and I got a special which had pieces of cake in it. We paid $22 for our 2 scoops which was very pricey. The gelato was average and melted very fast. I'm not sure why, but my husband's cone was dripping after a minute or so and made a big mess. Overall, not too impressed and we wouldn't go again. read more
Love the stracciatella it is not too sweet for me and the crema &biscotti. I tried their newest flavor: passionfruit, it was a little too sweet for me so I didn't like it as much as the others. The crunch of the seeds were good though. read more

I have only purchased this through DoorDash, so I don't know what the business looks like or what the atmosphere is like. I do know that both times I have ordered it has taken forever to get the order fulfilled and both times the order was delayed. Not a big deal but they may want to work on how they process to go orders. The gelato is tasty. It's creamy and it tastes like they use quality ingredients. We did the four pack, which is a lot of ice cream. They have a discount running on DD, so it was a little easier to pay the sale prices. I don't think we would buy it if there wasn't a deal. It's expensive for what you get. While it's good it's not quite that good. I just can't justify it, even if I had gone to the store myself. I am typically not a fruit flavored ice cream/gelato sort of person but they have a Blueberry & Ricotta flavor that is amazing. It's creamy, decadent and the blueberry helps cut the richness in just the right way. It's definitely worth a try. The Giandujotto (Hazelnut & Chocolate) was good. If you don't eat it right away the hazelnuts don't really hold up all that well the next day. The Chocolate Pistachio Crunch seemed to be maybe a vanilla base? If it was a pistachio base I didn't really taste much pistachio. It does have a lot of the pistachio cream, kadayif and chocolate mixture throughout that adds a nice crunch and richness to the gelato. I just wish it had more pistachio flavor. And the Peanut Butter Caramel and Chocolate was ok. I just didn't get a lot of peanut butter or caramel flavors in it. It was a little lacking. The mint chocolate chip has a great minty flavor and lots of specks of chocolate in it. I would have preferred larger pieces of chocolate but it's still good. Finally, the 3 Cioccolati (3 Chocolates) is a nice, rich and creamy chocolate. The packaging is cute, with nice little bags that have a light reflective thermal lining. It helped the gelato hold up during the drive to our house in 85 degree weather. The gelato is packaged in a paper (of sorts) container. It holds up well enough. The first time they had different bags and the gelato was pretty melty when I received it, so the container was a little flimsy feeling. Also, if you do the packs with different flavors they pack them in right up against each other. I don't love that part. Gelato melts so quickly, so your flavors meld together quite a bit. Is it good? Yes. Is it really worth the price? Ehhh, I don't really think it is. It's a bit overpriced, in my opinion but Santana Row rent is not cheap. So. It's definitely worth a try though, but once the sale runs its course on DD I won't be ordering it again. read more

This place is delicious, though it's definitely on the pricier side. I sampled several of their gelato flavors, and they were all so rich and flavorful so I ended up sharing a scoop with my friend. I got a scoop of the hazelnut gelato, which is one of their most popular flavors. If you're a fan of Ferrero Rocher chocolates, you'll probably love this. I stopped by around 2pm weekday and the line was much shorter than I expected based on other Yelp reviews. There's both indoor and outdoor seating available- I sat outside on the patio and noticed a strong sewage smell which was unappetizing. read more

I ordered a small stracciatella in a cup lined with pistachio cream. It was a fantastic combo. I loved the options to line the cup or cones with pistachio cream or Nutella. I had been wanting to try this spot for a long time but every time I passed by it had a huge line out of the door. One fine day on a Friday evening, I was surprised to find a short line and decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. I liked the Belgian chocolate flavor over the hazelnut chocolate. I prefer dark chocolate so that could be the reason. Their pistachio was pretty good too. The gelato was richy and creamy and not overly sweet. I would be willing to try more flavors next time around. Some of the flavors seemed pretty interesting. The staff is really nice too and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. For reference, the picture shown has a medium sized gelato which comes with 2 flavors and it was a decent size to share between the three of us. read more

Had a chance to try bacio di latte when in Santana row and this was awesome! A fresh new gelato spot is what we need this summer! The service is great here and ambiance is friendly with seating outside to eat some good ice cream. We ordered the chocolate hazelnut and pistachio ice cream. Both flavors were creamy and super flavorful! Would highly recommend although it is a little on the pricier side! read more
Long long line at 11pm Sat evening. They close at 12am! Good thing is no limits on samples. I think more grace for these workers bc they looked really tired by 11:30pm. Tried a few diff flavors but went with kids scoop in sugar cone of mint chip. It tastes so good! I love they r opened late and love all their unique quality flavors. read more
Truly excellent customer service and the gelatos are yum. All three of us loved what we got. I love my pistachio with chocolate ice cream. Maybe I just got lucky as there was line only inside the store and not all the way back. There are multiple people, each taking care of the whole group. I have always seen different people taking different person in the group in past. The store is clean and beautiful. Will definitely try this place again sometime soon read more
I'd been hearing great things about this new spot from a friend and finally got the chance to check it out. Located in the always-lively Santana Row, Bacio di Latte fits right in with a super bright, beautiful, and minimalistic interior. Be prepared for a crowd - there was a massive line out the door, and we waited about 25 minutes just to order. Also, because it's so busy, seating is very limited compared to the amount of foot traffic they get. Flavors were Absolutely delicious! Every scoop we tried was incredibly high-quality. The only tiny critique is that the pistachio cream flavor could have been a little thicker, as it felt a bit watery. We went around 9:00 PM (they close at 11:00 PM), and unfortunately, a few of their most popular/famous flavors were already completely sold out. The scoop sizes are definitely on the smaller side for the price point. For anyone looking for plant-based options, they do have a vegan choice, though it looked like there was only one available. Staff were wonderfully nice and friendly despite how packed it was. The ice cream was so good that my friends and I completely forgot to take a "before" picture - so I'm just leaving photos of our empty cups as proof of how much we loved it! Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and don't mind a bit of a wait. read more
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and got super lucky with timing. There's usually a line out the door, but we got there with only 2 people in front of us. There was a line out the door once we got our order in. Ordered an affogato an a matcha affogato. Both were yummy and refreshing on a hot day from the cold ice cream. This place has lots of options from custard-textured ice creams to affogato to other coffee drinks. All of the staff members were helpful and kind as well. read more
I attempted to get some gelato at this queen River ice cream shop in Pasadena, but the line literally wrapped around the corner! My boyfriend and I wanted to get ice cream after dinner, but sadly the gelato store was closed!! I was surprised to find out the next week. There was a gelato shop opening in Santana Road, and it was the same company as the one I tried to visit at old Pasadena!! Sold!! My friend and I went here on a Monday morning around 10:30 AM and luckily there was nobody in line! The whole Cafe area is set up like a cute little grandma's house or something very clean and modernize, but I love all the little fixtures! Kind of like Giada De Laurentii's house when she goes to Tuscany!! Hee simply adorable! The three employees that were there were incredibly helpful and patient as my friend and I got to sample the different various flavors. We were so happy nobody was in line behind us! Lol found out that they make all their ice cream/gelato fresh daily in this giant machine in the back and you can see through the windows people working hard at their craft!! When we got our ice cream, we sat outside since it was a beautiful morning and we got to enjoy our ice cream and play catch-up. I can't wait to see the different flavors that they come up with since summer is right around the corner!! I also loved the baked goods they had!! I got three different pastries!! You definitely have to try out their baked goodies, as well as their gelato!! The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars, is because they mainly had chocolate and vanilla flavors of gelato. I'm much more of a fruit or savory flavor when it comes to my sweets, even sours! I love a good yuzu lemon, mango, raspberry, ube, and lime sorbet. I think it clutches my thirst on those hot summer days. read more
Unexpected surprise. The gelato is top notch! They have a lot of options available and it is great. You can taste the flavors and it is not too milky. Their cookies are fantastic too ! Definitely a place to visit at Santana Row. It is better to go in the morning. Many tables for seating indoor and out. Hard to sit down inside when there is a line. read more
Love the flavors, the staff and espresso! Very modern and light place to try cool gelato with interesting flavors. Staff is giving sample to make sure you'll like it. The ambiance is new, modern, light with outdoor tables and high ceiling. There is a garage parking by nearby, gender neutral restroom and ice cream to buy to take home. read more

Even though there's a long line when you arrive here, be patient, and just wait until it's your turn. Their gelato is amazing. One of the best. My favorite is the hazelnut. My only complaint is the queue. It's a small place, so when folks either need another spoon or have to pay, there is a bottleneck after you receive your ice cream. read more
