    Mint chocolate chip, strawberry shortcake
    Lizey N.

Super long lines but they go by decently quick. So worth the wait because the gelato is just so fluffy, light, and airy it's actually crazy. I love how creamy and thick it is but also feels so light and airy. The strawberry shortcake is divineeeee with the bits of shortcake in it. I also love love love the mint chocolate chip. One of my new favorite ice cream places for sure.

Had a chance to try bacio di latte when in Santana row and this was awesome! A fresh new gelato spot is what we need this summer! The service is great here and ambiance is friendly with seating outside to eat some good ice cream. We ordered the chocolate hazelnut and pistachio ice cream. Both flavors were creamy and super flavorful! Would highly recommend although it is a little on the pricier side!

Long line on weekends but not too long. I do ask for samples so this can add to the long line, like other customers. Gelato melts faster than ice cream. I think it melts faster when the staff over needs to put in the cone and cups. My cousin got her cone first and was eating as it melted. She was waiting for me to get my order done. She even joked that she will finish her two scoops before I get my mine. Interior is nice and plenty of outdoor seating too.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and got super lucky with timing. There's usually a line out the door, but we got there with only 2 people in front of us. There was a line out the door once we got our order in. Ordered an affogato an a matcha affogato. Both were yummy and refreshing on a hot day from the cold ice cream. This place has lots of options from custard-textured ice creams to affogato to other coffee drinks. All of the staff members were helpful and kind as well.

I attempted to get some gelato at this queen River ice cream shop in Pasadena, but the line literally wrapped around the corner! My boyfriend and I wanted to get ice cream after dinner, but sadly the gelato store was closed!! I was surprised to find out the next week. There was a gelato shop opening in Santana Road, and it was the same company as the one I tried to visit at old Pasadena!! Sold!! My friend and I went here on a Monday morning around 10:30 AM and luckily there was nobody in line! The whole Cafe area is set up like a cute little grandma's house or something very clean and modernize, but I love all the little fixtures! Kind of like Giada De Laurentii's house when she goes to Tuscany!! Hee simply adorable! The three employees that were there were incredibly helpful and patient as my friend and I got to sample the different various flavors. We were so happy nobody was in line behind us! Lol found out that they make all their ice cream/gelato fresh daily in this giant machine in the back and you can see through the windows people working hard at their craft!! When we got our ice cream, we sat outside since it was a beautiful morning and we got to enjoy our ice cream and play catch-up. I can't wait to see the different flavors that they come up with since summer is right around the corner!! I also loved the baked goods they had!! I got three different pastries!! You definitely have to try out their baked goodies, as well as their gelato!! The only reason why I'm not giving them 5 stars, is because they mainly had chocolate and vanilla flavors of gelato. I'm much more of a fruit or savory flavor when it comes to my sweets, even sours! I love a good yuzu lemon, mango, raspberry, ube, and lime sorbet. I think it clutches my thirst on those hot summer days.

Love the flavors, the staff and espresso! Very modern and light place to try cool gelato with interesting flavors. Staff is giving sample to make sure you'll like it. The ambiance is new, modern, light with outdoor tables and high ceiling. There is a garage parking by nearby, gender neutral restroom and ice cream to buy to take home.

Bacio di Latte at Santana Row was such a treat. The shop is beautiful inside, bright, polished, and cozy, with a very clean aesthetic that makes the whole experience feel a little elevated. I ordered the waffle cone with pistachio cream and pistachio crumbles, then got three scoops: Strawberry Cheesecake on the bottom, Pistachio in the middle, and Liana's Shortcake on top. It was amazing. The pistachio flavor was rich, smooth, and tasted high quality, while the Strawberry Cheesecake added a fruity, creamy contrast. Liana's Shortcake on top was such a fun choice and made the whole cone feel extra indulgent. I also loved that the cone itself was part of the experience, not just a container. The pistachio cream and pistachio crumbles added great texture and made every bite better. Between the beautiful interior, the presentation, and the quality of the gelato, this is definitely a spot worth visiting at Santana Row. I would absolutely come back to try more flavors.

This is hands down my fav gelato place in bay area now. Its amazing and creamy and they have so many flavors which are vegetarian friendly (no eggs, no gelatin). The quality of the ingredients is amazing. The gelato taste fresh, creamy and authentic! They also sell pints and I found it very interesting that they have a half pint 2 flavors option, that way people can try two different flavors in one pint. This is very conveniently located in Santana Row! They have indoor and outdoor seating. They also sell cookies and have a caffe bar. Their affogatos are delicious and a must try! I loved the crema torino and pistachio flavors! Crema torino is a full hazelnut experience The interiors and ambiance are no doubt amazing. They have decor going up to the ceiling and will take you into the world of gelato and coffee! Definitely making a lot of trips here to try rest of the flavors :)

Had such an amazing experience at Bacio Di Latte on a random Monday. I've heard rave reviews for some time and finally had the opportunity to stop by and try it out. I was able to try the pistachio, cookies and cream, strawberry gelato, and chocolate chip. My favorite is definitely the chocolate chip, paired with the waffle bowl and it was delish! What really made the experience was the staff noticing our dog through the window and offering a pup cup for free! I thought that was super kind and sweet. This was such a nice addition to Santana Row and I hope they're here to stay!

After doing our rounds at Santana Row, my friend suggested we grab dessert at Bacio Di Latte--the new gelato shop! It was a refreshing and sweet treat. We came mid-afternoon on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded. The shop is super cute. It's bright, clean, and has a nice aesthetic. There are a few seats inside as well as more seating outdoors. The space isn't the largest, so definitely be patient. Everyone helping us was kind and allowed us to take our time sampling. I got a Piccolo Cup of their Fragola (strawberry) sorbet. The cup was definitely small for the price, but the actual sorbet was great. It was so fruity, refreshing, and sweet! No taste of iciness, and I loved how it melted in my mouth. Great for vegans or those who love a nice sorbet. I wouldn't be opposed to trying their other flavors, but it's definitely a bit pricier! If you're craving a sweet and refreshing treat at Santana Row, give Bacio Di Latte a try. They're easy to find with parking available in the garages.

    Tiramisu ice cream

We finally have a gelato spot in Santana row. I went in with high expectations looking at long queue and somehow they still managed to exceed them. I ordered the tiramisu gelato in waffle cone, it was just wow. Tasted exactly like a perfectly made tiramisu, rich expresso notes, creamy mascarpone, a whisper of cocoa, all wrapped up in a scoop of silky, dreamy gelato. Waffles cone was less crispy. Could have been better. Gelato was genuinely excellent

I came on a Bacio Sweet Day where the gelato is donation-based (essentially however much you choose to donate is the amount you pay and donations are matched!) This event allows you to get a piccolo (2 flavors) I typically don't get gelato, but I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality and flavors here! You can try samples before you make your decision and the employees were all very nice/open to help you. I tried the Giandujotto [Hazelnut & Chocolate], strawberry cheesecake, and pistachio, ending up with the initial two flavor samples. The texture was creamy and the flavors were deep and rich. We all enjoyed our ice creams and would come back again! The interior is also beautiful. The lighting was warm and the design is very much like a family home with a variety of kitchen tools lining the walls. The line is always long when I see it, but it doesn't take too long!

Amazing new gelato place at Santana Row! Happy to report to fellow lactose intolerant folk that they have DELICIOUS lactose free gelato here that doesn't sacrifice on flavor! I ordered the Vegan Belgian Chocolate (made with oat milk), and the Strawberry Sorbet, which were both dairy free. Both were flavorful and had pleasant texture. Oat milk is much creamier than other alternative milks, so it was a treat to indulge in some chocolate gelato that actually tasted like gelato. There was a line out the door, but it moved quickly. Service was fast and efficient. There is seating outside. Looking forward to coming back!

I could tell she was doing her best to keep the line moving along but felt kind of bad that she didn't have any support. Thankfully, by the time we finally got to the front, another person came out from the back to help scoop, and a third to handle checkout. I planned on getting a medium with two scoops and knew I wanted passionfruit but was torn between lemon and coconut, so I asked to sample both. The lemon was good, but I preferred the creaminess of the coconut, so I went with that. The coconut was yummy, but the passionfruit was amazing. That alone is worth a 5-star review. My mom got the Bombolato with Croccantino Amarena (sweet milk with sour cherries and chocolate chips) and Capriccio (hazelnut with chocolate spread) topped with chocolate and chopped hazelnuts. She loved it! She pretty much ate the whole thing, except for half the donut. My only gripe is that I wish they had at least one vegan pastry in the cake section. The seating options are also really limited in the gelato area but luckily we walked to the back and found one open table.

Although my go-to is the honey matcha latte, you can honestly just throw a dart and be pleasantly surprised each time (I've done this about 5 times already). This time, I got the yuzu matcha tea. SUPER REFRESHING! Tart, citrusy and with the earthy matcha, the drink was a great pick me up. I recommend getting this if you can't have whole milk and wanna try something new! My partner got the soft serve and the flavor of the matcha cuts through very well- you won't be disappointed if you're a matcha lover. The line is long, but our orders always come out fairly quickly (around 10 minutes) after we order. I think it's long because others are debating what to pick at the kiosk. But alas, good luck finding parking! My partner and I always have to park on the street side of the plaza and walk over because we can never get a spot.

We got 2 of the creme brulee matcha swirl due to the hype of this drink. The cream was extremely thick and just for my preference, it was too much. The matcha was not as strong to balance the sweetness and decadency of the cream. We ended up letting it melt a bit so we can drink the matcha without having to eat chunks of the cream. If you like your matcha thick, then I recommend this drink! It was just not up my alley unfortunately.

We tried the three flavors they had (matcha green tea, matcha green tea with oreo, and jasmine tea with oreo). The matcha green tea base is really good and you taste the matcha green tea.
