The food here is always amazing, especially their Thalis. My favorite is the Non-Vegetarian Thali paired with Garlic Naan. I took my niece there recently and started off by sharing an order of Pea and Potato Samosas. Perfectly crisp with a delicious sauce for dipping. We both had the Thalis and were extremely happy. I will say that the place looks like it's falling apart with a giant hole in the ceiling. In addition, the soda and ice machine were inoperable. Service was quick and friendly albeit a bit too quick... took them less than 3 minutes to bring out my leg n thigh tandoori.... world record tandoor cooking time I thought..... yea not quite.... The chicken had a very strong odor once I bit into it so it seems it was old chicken which they microwaved or put in the oven a couple of minutes then served it. No worries let me take a sip of the mango lassi to wash out the taste of old socks from the chicken..... wrong again....super sour taste and bubbly as if the yogurt had fermented or gone bad. Ended up throwing that away aftet two sips. The bread was very good I must say and the beef kabob was decent. Samosas are also fairly good. The only sad part in eating at any restaurant where you don't see many customers during what should be lunch or dinner time.... is that you will get old food and that is exactly what I paid for unfortunately. What a gem in Tempe! I'm from NY, so I am always looking for authentic diverse food that is packed with flavor. Curry Corner does not disappoint. They offer some of the top Indian dishes including samosas, pakora, masala and biryani. The food was delicious! The goat meat was soo tender. Everything had great spices and flavor. This is a fun spot for people who like Indian food and want to try something just a little different. It's a cozy space, full of warm colors and smells. While it's close to downtown Tempe, they have a parking lot that makes getting there easy. The menu can be a little overwhelming for those who know nothing about Indian or Pakistani food, but the staff are willing to help. My favorite thing I've ever had here was on a staff recommendation. Service can be a little slow sometimes but the price is right. Everything you order comes with basmati or naan. You'll probably need it to tamper the spice! Personally, I'm all about the garlic naan. I love spicy food but this place has made me cry so know that before you go! Their menu has less common options, incorporating some middle eastern dishes like Afghani boti. Overall, I thought it was okay, but I would probably try out other nearby restaurants serving Indian food first before I decide to come back. Went in for lunch this afternoon with family, got seated quickly, and ordered chicken tikka, chicken biryani, tandoori masala fries, garlic naan, and paneer tikka curry with side of naan. Omg, the food was so so divine, the taste of each item was rich, fresh, and so good. I absolutely loved it. The naans were fresh and hot, fluffy with butter, the gravy of paneer tikka was so rich, slightly sweet. The biryani was a bit different, the rice wasn't dry and was covered in gravy. It came with a side of salad and raita. The tandoori was decent, could've been better. The fries were gold, covered in masala w/ sprinkled paneer and some mayo type of cream. Decent food, simple but quiet ambiance, very reasonable prices. They have vegetarian (and halal meat) entrees and the server assured me that they clean the pans so it's not cross contaminated with meat. Their fried foods however are fried in the same oil as meat. I ordered the palak paneer with garlic naan. The naan was hot, fresh, and melt in your mouth kind of soft, as was the paneer. The palak (spinach) itself was a little basic and didn't have much flavor. Seems like it could work well for someone who can't tolerate much spice. Service was slow but it might be a nice spot to go with friends if you have the time to hang there for a while and you're not super starving right away. We've been patrons of Curry Corner for a long time now. Have loved their Chicken Tikka Masala. It is super yummy and the portions - up until this week - were very generous. When, I went to pick up my order this week, I noticed that they switched their To-Go packaging. The portion now cut nearly in half. I called the restaurant the next day to ask if this is going to be their new To-Go packaging going forward and they said "yes!" Then they went on to try to convince me that it's the same size container as used previously but it's just now in a plastic container. Previously, they used large Styrofoam containers - I would be able to get 3 LARGE portions from 1 order...with this new packaging, I was only able to get 2 very SMALL portions. There's no comparison between the portion in the previous packaging and this new packaging, whatsoever! I understand restaurants look to to cut corners, but this is not the way to do it. Raise your prices - slowly - in phases. Offer a smaller version of the same meal for less. But dramatically changing the portion of what people are used to and keeping it at the same price, is not the answer. You lost 2 loyal customers with this one...and you're bound to lose many others. read more

These guys have the best Nihari, Naan, Mixed Grill, Achari chicken, Karahi koshat and chicken tikka masala. The naan bread melts in the mouth and is scrumptious!!! The tikka masala fries are delicious!!! The only thing that needs improved is the uncomfortable seating arrangements on the booths!! They need to be updated. This is our first time being at the Quri corner with our kids and we absolutely love it. We ordered the burgers chicken tikka masala with noan and it was Very authentic and delicious. Also, the servers were amazing very kind, respectful and really helpful with placing order. Specially, with the little ones and what is not spicy. The Kashmiri chai was just amazing. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the chicken makhani was out of this world! It was my first time trying chicken makhani and it's safe to say it's now one of my favorite foods! I have been here a few times doordashing for others and thought it was about time tonight to give it a try since I love Indian food. Let me tell you this place is amazing!!!! I ordered the Malai Kofta with Naan bread. You do have the choice of rice or naan. From the first bite my eyes rolled in the back of my head it was soo good. Flavors are As spicy as you would expect from this food but the flavors just swirl beautifully together amazingly. I almost can't put my food down it's so good and when you dip the naan bread in wow!!! Service is always friendly and good here though it does take some time to prepare it's well worth the wait. I definately suggest this as one of my favorite in town spots for Indian and I can see why Guy Fieri hosted a show here and why it has won awards for its food. It well deserves it!!! I think I hyped up Curry Corner too much in my head before visiting. I had been salivating over the photos of the masala fries for quiet sometime so I was thrilled to finally try them out. Sadly, my expectations were shattered in a bad way. The fries were cold by the time we received them and they were kind of soggy from the sauce. Also, I noticed they were missing the green garnish that is shown in lot of other photos. Service was spotty from the start. It took a while for us to be sat. Then, it took a while for the food to come out and finally, it took a long while to pay the bill. For some unknown reason, all of the staff seemed to be back in the kitchen area. So glad we came on a weekend and did not need to be anywhere in a rush because the visit took much longer than necessary. When our food did come out, we were brought two plates when we had only ordered one. This lead to an awkward conversation trying to explain that we only ordered one. However the waitress proceeded to tell us that we had ordered two. Mistakes do happen but arguing with customers about it does not make the situation any better. Our waitress also never asked what spice level we wanted and some of the vegetarian plate was a little spicier than I would have preferred. Towards the end of the meal the owner/manager came by to check on us which was appreciated but a little too late. Came in last night 8/6/23 and to be honest I've way better Chicken tikka masala off of lunch trucks this was not good watered down Glup, the mixed bbq was to have veggies it had nothing but dried out bbq chicken pieces and some kind of dried up mealy sausage thing that was inedible.. the pakora was cold soggy like how long as this sat around it's 110 degrees how do you serve cold fried food, they where terrible. I used to enjoy ordering food from here when I lived closer. I am in town so I thought I'd order several dishes for old times sake. The curry was super watered down with barely any flavor. We put it in the trash because it was that bad. I even pulled what looks like a piece of pastry paper out of the middle of one of my samosas. It's sad to see quality has very much slipped at this restaurant. It's a Saturday night so the food should be fresh and flavorful. After reading some of the other reviews on Yelp for this restaurant, I'm surprised we didn't end up with food poisoning. The chicken we did eat had a very, very weird old texture to it. read more

Overview: Not always consistent, but usually pretty good, and a good price for the area. Worth trying. The food at curry corner is generally pretty solid. Sometimes though, it's totally off, and I'm not sure why or when, like if the evening chef is better or what. I've gotten to try several of the curries and rices, and some of the food from the tandor. The butter chicken, makhani, tikka masala, and non-veg thali are pretty good, not quite as fragrant and floral as the really great stuff, but still good. The naan is so good! It's fresh and the garlic naan with cilantro is especially yummy. The staff at Curry Corner are always really nice, and have even helped me when I ordered through Grubhub and their menu was incorrect. Very patient, good people. I did have a friend who worked there for two weeks though and never got paid lol, but I'm gonna let that slide because maybe it was on his end, given the staff seem generally pretty happy and like they're being paid :P As far as COVID precautions, it seems like the tables are spaced out but still a bit close together. Staff has masks on. I always get to go, so not totally sure. Speaking of ordering ahead is almost always verrrryyyyy slow, expect to wait 30 to 40 minutes for your food, 20 on a good day. read more

The service is horrible, after we ordered (beef kabob, and beef curry) 20 minutes goes by and a different server comes over to tell us they are out of beef for the kabobs, she gives us a run down on the different kabobs they have so we re order chicken ones, she leaves then comes back 5 minutes later to say they are out of that chicken kabob too. We also ordered Naan bread which was burnt. We finished our offerings and asked our server for the check he then said just go to the register they wil do it. Side note the bathroom was not clean at all bugs were crawling all over the sink, on that note I'm wondering how clean the kitchen was now.... My suggestion is to find another spot. read more

The meat was tender and it had the perfect amount of spice. It paired so well with the garlic naan, which was super fresh and buttery!
