Mixed shawarma platter with beef kabab.

Great service, great food, great atmosphere ! All around loved the experience.! I had the steak and chi Ken mixed platter with beef kabab and rice! The food came quickly and the place was large enough to eat at a comfortable bench seat and not be bothered. If you're a chain restaurant lover, this is not the place for you. This is a mom n pop, hole in the wall place that will blow any chain away. Great service, high quality food, huge portions at a great price is why no chain can compete with a mom n pop! So get over here to Tempe and enjoy this local secret!

I think this place went pretty viral on TikTok for the crispy shawarma? All my friends told me to check it out so I did! We ordered from a kiosk and got a recommendation from one of the workers which was nice. You can watch them assemble your food on the line which is cool. There's lots of seating inside so it's a nice casual spot. First of all the prices here are incredible, our pita wrap was only $9, and an additional $1 to "make it viral" (crispy). The food took a really long time to come out, there was quite a few people waiting in front of us which is why I think it took so long, they also seemed to grill all the meats to order so I'm not super mad about the wait. The meat inside the wrap wasn't super flavorful, but still pretty good. All the hummus, sauce, and pickles really brought it all together. I probably wouldn't get it crispy next time since it honestly hurt the inside of my mouth, and just seemed to kind of make it greasy, it wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be, just kinda hard. All that said, it's not the best thing I've ever had but the price makes it so good. I would definitely come here again

I wanted to like this place so bad because I had heard such great things, but unfortunately my experience just was not good. I had come here once before to get a chicken pita and it was decent, which is why I decided to bring my husband back with me the other day. Outside of the people who work here being very kind, I really do not have many positive things to say about our meal. We immediately had to get boxes to go, and the takeout picture shows exactly how the food was layered on the plate. I ordered the chicken shawarma with fries and was not expecting the chicken to be mixed directly in with everything else. Instead of separating the items out, the fries were plopped on top of the hummus with a huge dollop of garlic sauce. It reminded me of carne asada fries, but not in a good way. The chicken was very bland and dry, and the garlic sauce had no flavor at all and just made the fries soggy. I ended up not even eating dinner that night because nothing else was open by the time we left. My husband ordered the chicken kebab combination plate and did not have a better experience. His pita bread was dry and stale, the rice was clumping together with an odd flavor, and his chicken was completely overcooked. It is a bummer because the service is sweet, but the food fell totally flat for both of us.

How I've never been here is beyond me. I had a friend tell me recently they were going to Pita Valley to try the Spicy grilled chicken shawarma wrap they saw on IG. So I looked up the restaurant and added it to my list. Luckily we were passing by on University recently and stopped in. So glad we did, it's delicious! We also tried that wrap featured on IG and I didn't like it as much as their traditional beef shawarma wrap. It has better flavor. I haven't had baba ghanoush in forever and this was yummy, the grilled eggplant flavor was great. It came with a pita bread, which are all made in house. This fast casual Lebanese/ Mediterranean restaurant is definitely a place I'll come back to try other items.

A friend wanted to eat here because of the viral crispy chicken shawarma wraps. Located in a small parking lot but the restaurant is long because it has two rooms. The second room had many tables and chairs. They even had a fish tank. It seems like this place has been here for years. There were definitely people waiting inside for their food and people ordering from the two kiosks. We order two crispy chicken shawarma wraps ($10.99/each) and it did take a bit for them to make. But the food came out so delicious. The flavor was tasty and packed with power. The chicken was so tender too. You can definitely share one wrap for two people because we got full pretty quickly. I also saw that they had other options like kabobs and pastries. The wrap is a must try!

Absolutely worth the hype! Service was great and personable. The food was delicious and tasted so fresh. There was plenty of seating and was very quick with service. Highly recommend

I always get their beef shawarma, but recently tried the chicken and it was so good. The staff is always super friendly, and I'll definitely be back again!

The food was plentiful and tasted great. I got the kefta and kabob plate. It came with a good chopped salad, hummus, French fries and rice. The service is order on a kiosk and pick up at the counter. My only issue. They pile all the food on a plate so things mix together. Also the fries were cold but had they been hot I'd gave given them 5 stars. The ambience is carry out in one side and kinda restaurant slash store on the other. A bit confusing.

I was so excited to try it as soon as I heard it was Lebanese food! Growing up Lebanese there were very limited options in the valley for food, but let me tell you I was blown away from the service, food and energy of the restaurant! The owner gave us the whole run through and we ended up ordering the family platter of kebabs! Each one was cooked very well and seasoned to perfection. The rice and hummus were very good and well made! It reminded me of my father's cooking! I definitely will return for more!

This is a most amazing Middle Eastern restaurant in the valley. They offer authentic Lebanese dishes. The restaurant run by the family. You can definitely sense love and respect to the customers. The restaurant is very clean it does have a little grocery store inside as well with lots of middle Eastern items. You will love everything you can get here. Their menu is great and they do not have any issues substituting things to your liking.

We came to Pita Valley after seeing it all over TikTok and Instagram, especially for the crispy chicken shawarma wrap. We love Mediterranean food, so we were genuinely excited to try it. When you walk in, you order at an iPad kiosk and get a number, then sit wherever there's space. Not a huge deal, but the tables had plastic wrap over tablecloths, which was honestly pretty off-putting and made the whole place feel kind of... questionable. We ordered the crispy chicken shawarma wrap and the falafel plate, which came with hummus, salad, fries, and a side of pita. When our number was called, my husband grabbed the food. The falafel plate came out first. The fries were actually pretty good, but there was barely any hummus on the plate, and the salad looked sad and unappealing. I took one bite and that was enough. The falafel itself seemed undercooked. The flavor was just okay, but the texture was weird and not in a good way. The wrap came out shortly after. The wrap was definitely crispy, which was nice, but beyond that it was honestly just okay. The meat was super bland and lacked seasoning. Crispy alone isn't enough to save it. Overall, I truly don't understand the hype. For all the buzz this place gets online, the food was underwhelming at best. If I'm craving Mediterranean food in Tempe, I'd much rather go to Green Corner and actually enjoy my meal

I have been going to this restaurant since December and I failed to review it because I did not want too many people to overtake one of my favorite places. If you like Mediterranean or Middle Eastern food, they do it well here. The entrance can be a bit challenging since there are three doors. When I first arrived, there was a bit of confusion with where to order, since there is a kiosk and a menu board with a station that divides the dining area. But while the layout may be a bit unorthodox, It does not detract from the service nor the enjoyment of the meal. All the food fresh and they spend time making sure it is prepared well. You can see the quality in their finished product and taste the difference. They have two vertical spits of beef and chicken, and the beef often does not last to the end of the day. I highly recommend their chicken Shawarma and the garlic sauce is phenomenal. The soft bread is also a winner. They also have hummus and homemade pickles. I also have used their business for a catering lunch, and the food was prepared on time and people enjoyed the taste. I would also recommend the opportunity to try some of the snacks, drinks, and of course, baklava that they offer at their establishment. please be nice as the brothers are often working hard preparing the food and their dad is at the register. He used to live in NYC.

The owner Ahmed and his family were kind. ‍‍‍ They had a restaurant in NYC and moved to AZ. They have A+ on their cleanliness inspection. The food was incredible. My husband and I had such a good experience that we have decided to make this our date night place. I've been back multiple times. It's incredible.

Some restaurants chase trends. Others just quietly keep making really good food year after year…read more This is one of those places. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value. I'll try not to wait so long before my next visit.

The dining space itself is small, with a few tables. It is definitely not the spot for group dining, but they do seem to have large family style offerings, so takeout seems like a solid choice for larger groups! You can tell they are popular, as they had a good flow of guests coming in and out. The dining space was a bit messy, not the restaurant as much as just trash from leftover guests, though that could be due to the traffic, but definitely noticeable. I ordered a classic gyro, greek fries, tabouli salad and baklava. The price point is extremely reasonable and it was plenty filling with leftovers. The food itself took quite a bit to get out, but again traffic and the staff was kind enough to give us some dolma for our long wait time. FEAR FACTOR-Y I fear…read moreif you come here, you might not like it. Stopped in around 11pm on a Sunday night because it was one of the only places in the area that was open if you didn't choose to go with fast food. It was busy with customers at that time of night, surprisingly, maybe due to the fact they cornered the late-night eatery niche. The gentlemen taking the order was friendly. But I don't know if they were caught at a bad time because they were not prepared for the influx of customers. The worker could not even take an order for 15 minutes because they were backed up trying to cook and finish existing orders. The worker did let the crowd know that it would take a while before we could order. Once we ordered, then it took another 20 minutes to get the food. Was it worth the wait? No, sorry. SHAWARMA FRIES- They must have been using old oil, fries were a dark and unpleasant grease bombs. The meat in shawarma was not great. To me it lacked the spices and seasoning and was underwhelming. It was basically Carne Asada without spices. All it was was meat and fries which came with a cream sauce on the side. It could have used some tomato or greens or pickled veg to brighten up dish. It was just heavy and greasy and one-note. I would not order this again. FALAFELS were much the same. Dark and almost burnt, crunchy, hockey pucks, except they were ring-shaped, I think to allow an efficient, even cook, so why were they over-cooked? HUMMUS was pretty decent, creamy and smooth, I wouldn't mind buying this by the cup. It's a shame that the pita bread was so generic, it did not do the hummus justice. The rice also tasted generic. Nothing really felt authentic here. The place needs some detail cleaning really badly. There is dust all over the furniture and decor and it was unappetizing. The bathrooms smelled like a hobo encampment. The tidiness was scary. The friendly staff and hummus is all they really had going for them on my visit. It would be hard for me to comeback unless they really do an overhaul of their restaurant.
