I get the Chicken Cali wrap every single time and it never disappoints! I would highly recommend

Plenty of delicious food is what you will get here. The portions are hefty and enough for two servings. I felt like I was back in the Mediterra nean countries while eating the food here because they give so much. The young guy who took my order and cooked the food had amazing customer service. He was very polite. And he knows how to cook. The presentation of the food was beautiful. I almost didnt want to eat it not to meas it up, but I was too hungry for that ;) I ordered the Chicken Saj sandwich which was very good. I had to look at their website to figure out which sandwich I had planned to order because one of the menu screens was broken. My sister and I were the only ones there dining in. Everyone else that came in picked up food to go. So it was quiet and a little warm inside but the young guy let the shades down to help minimoze the sunlight shining in. Very cool restaurant with mouthwatering Mediterranean food at reasonable prices. Can't wait to return and try something new.

    Fire Fire Gyro with fries

I've visited Shawarma Factory twice now already and I've ordered the same thing. The Fire Fire Gyro with Fries and my experience both times were completely different.. The first time I had it was an absolute knockout--generous portions of gyro meat packed into a perfectly balanced sandwich, bursting with flavor and satisfaction. If every visit were like that, I'd be a regular for life. However, the second time wasn't quite the same. A different cook prepared my meal, and the gyro felt noticeably lacking in meat, which took away from the indulgent experience I loved so much the first time. When it's good, it's really good, but consistency is key. Hoping they keep that first-time magic alive in every order!

Shawarma Factory is a solid choice if you're craving some quick Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food in Tempe. The parking right out front is a huge plus. I tried the fried chicken sandwich with crinkly fries. The fries were seasoned nicely, though they were just a bit overcooked, as was the fried chicken. Normally, I would have gone for a kebab, but I was in the mood for something different today. Next time, I'll definitely be trying the Greek salad and beef kebab! The yogurt, soda with mint out of the drink fridge was a great treat!

I was here on a business trip and just finished with the gym at 10:30 pm and was like what's open. Almost everything was closed except for this little gem. reminded me of when I was stationed over in Saudi Arabia. Good friendly customer service. Well done guys

Very disappointed -- food was bland and service was slow. Definitely not coming back.

    Chicken Sajji Sandwich

Restaurant is in a prime spot in Tempe, catering mainly to ASU and neighboring area. We ordered chicken and beef sajji sandwiches which come with fries. My husband brought the food home for dinner. Food was definitely fresh. It was still hot by the time my husband got home. Flavor wise however, it was not our favorite. There was a very strong and strange flavor in both the beef and chicken shawarma; a flavor we were definitely unable to identify, and something that in our opinion, did not go well with the shawarma. The "sajj" bread was basically tortilla that was somewhat soggy by the time it got home. Again, not what we were expecting. Fries were ok and the Chicken was better than the beef. Price is ok for the portion size.

The scallops melted in my mouth and they were absolutely delicious. My husband's braised ribs were delicious as well, the mashed potatoes were smooth. We wish we saved room for dessert! I would recommend reservations to secure a table since this place is very popular over the weekend.

So I looked up the restaurant and added it to my list. Luckily we were passing by on University recently and stopped in. So glad we did, it's delicious! I had come here once before to get a chicken pita and it was decent, which is why I decided to bring my husband back with me the other day. Outside of the people who work here being very kind, I really do not have many positive things to say about our meal. We immediately had to get boxes to go, and the takeout picture shows exactly how the food was layered on the plate. I ordered the chicken shawarma with fries and was not expecting the chicken to be mixed directly in with everything else. Instead of separating the items out, the fries were plopped on top of the hummus with a huge dollop of garlic sauce. It reminded me of carne asada fries, but not in a good way. The chicken was very bland and dry, and the garlic sauce had no flavor at all and just made the fries soggy. I ended up not even eating dinner that night because nothing else was open by the time we left. My husband ordered the chicken kebab combination plate and did not have a better experience. His pita bread was dry and stale, the rice was clumping together with an odd flavor, and his chicken was completely overcooked. It is a bummer because the service is sweet, but the food fell totally flat for both of us.

It is a restaurant with a mini market which makes it feel so authentic. However, upon my first visit I didn't really look around the market but I did purchase a zero calorie Salaam cola which tasted exactly like Coca Cola. I ordered chicken shawarma plate and for appetizers I got the falafels. I started with the falafels and they were surprisingly not dry at all. I was not sure what kind of sauce it was served with but it paired well with it. The plate portion size is no joke...Everything on the plate had a huge portion size: the salad, hummus, rice, and meat...all of them...Every bite with the yogurt sauce was flavorful. And then I tried a bite with hummus, rice, chicken and the sauce...wombo combo flavors. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish all of it so I had to take a to go box home. On my next visit I ordered the beef shawarma plate and I was not disappointed at all. After finishing with an empty plate, I walked around the mini market. I noticed there was allot of Middle Eastern food, candies, and drinks. I really enjoyed my Salaam cola on my first visit but they did not have the zero calorie version in stock...I did research on the brand and I found that they created the cola to provide aid to countries like (free)Palestine and Yemen which I deeply support. Besides the food, I also saw keffiyehs on display which I liked as well. Overall, I rate this place a strong 10/10. I will come back to try other entrees and desserts like their baklava cheesecake.
