Service and food were good overall. It wasn't that busy, but our table was dirty when we first sat down. Bill Clinton and Guy Fierari have eaten there. I can't wait to try their new "chai corner" that they just opened next door.

Saw them on the food Chanel and decided to give them a try. The place had only two people on a Friday night at 5 30. Thought that was strange. The young server was very patient and polite about answering our many questions. I didn't recognize the names of the dishes although I eat a lot of Indian food. He was helpful. Tandoori and korma and saag were familiar. One of us opted for the familiar chicken biryani. Super generous portion but the rice had a vinegary finish to it. Not used to that. The medium spice was indeed spicy. I opted for the non vegetarian thali. Had chicken agri, basmati, dal, yogurt and super vinegary pickled onions. I don't know if I should call them pickled--pure vinegar on onions. They need to fix that or leave them off the plate. I liked the dal, chicken, yogurt and rice. The other person had two appetizers samosas which she loved and tika masala fries. Not very authentic but she liked them. Prices were reasonable and the service was friendly aiming to please.

I heard about Curry Corner on local radio when someone called it "sensational," which set a pretty high bar--and it absolutely delivered. We started with the Aloo Tikka: solid, but probably not a repeat order for us. The real stars were the chicken and shrimp curry, chicken tikka masala, the sizzler sampler, and the garlic naan. Now I get the hype. Hands down, this is the best curry and tikka masala we've ever had. The meat was incredibly tender, deeply flavorful, and clearly made with care. Service was a bit on the slower side, but we weren't in a rush, so it didn't detract from the experience at all. This is officially a new go-to for our family--we've already agreed it's a once-a-month minimum. So glad we tried it, and we'll absolutely be back.

My boyfriend and I had dinner at Curry Corner in Tempe and it was fabulous. I was craving something different and hadn't been here in a while and had to show him their fries. If you go you HAVE to get the fries. They're seasoned to perfection and just SO good. They are the perfect sharing size too. I tried the chicken rajashtani and it was so creamy and tasty. I loved the chicken chunks and we both upgraded to garlic naan which was worth it. I brought half of mine home as leftovers for dinner the next day. Our server said it was their first day but was still super friendly. It was pretty packed inside but our dinner didn't take long at all. I think it's a perfect casual dining spot.

I have been meaning to try this place for awhile now and saw a post by someone regarding their new location that opened in East Mesa. I was immediately greeted by a nice gentleman that was doubling as host & server. I placed my order for takeout, Biriyani w/lamb and asked for it to be spicy. They definitely serve good size servings which included a small side of salad with a tasty, tangy dressing. Everything was seasoned well, but just a warning the lamb they use (i believe a chop), is served with meat on the bone, so be careful with bone fragments in the biriyani. It's a medium size restaurant that is simply decorated. I will be back to try other items on their menu.

This is the BEST Indian food in the valley. It's in a small building in Tempe, but the flavors and authenticity of the food is unbeatable. I have eaten here dozens of times since I went to ASU 6 years ago. I live in Queen Creek and still drive the 45 minutes to Tempe just to get the food here. This is a must try when in Tempe. It also travels very well for take out. The service is very nice and helpful when exploring the menu.

I was fairly sure I had given this place 5 stars in the past, and posted photos. But alas, I don't see a review from me. So here it is... 5 stars! I'm sorry that I don't even have pictures, usually we just get the food To Go and bring it home, then get to eating. I love their hummus, it's so creamy and smooth! We generally order the combo plate with kabobs of grilled chicken pieces, ground chicken, and beef/lamb. This comes with delicious basmati rice, small salad, grilled onion & tomatoes, hummus, and a piece of pita bread. I also like to try a different item each time and I think the pecan baklava is awesome so I usually get that too. We've been coming here for years, I think we ate inside the restaurant just once or twice. It's clean and plenty of seating and the staff are friendly. Next time I'll take pictures and post them. Our server was probably one of the worst servers I have ever had. Zero personality and literally never said one word to us. Several to go orders and Uber Eats people came in and out while we waited about 10 minutes. We finally told the man at the front desk that we needed to order and get some drinks. Server came over with his notepad and looked at us to take orders, didn't say a word. When he brought the dishes, a few minutes later, he literally plopped all of them in one spot in the table without making any attempt to remember which dish went to which person. Very odd behavior The dishes on the menu are clearly marked vegetarian, vegan or contains meat. We had two dishes that were supposed to be vegan, one was a saag dish which they had placed butter over the top of. It looked delicious to everyone, but the vegans who could not eat it. When we pointed it out, they made no attempt to offer us another dish and just said oh yes, that's ghee (clarified butter) we said the menu indicated it was vegan, but again no response. The two vegans at our table just decided rather than argue, they will share the rice dish, which was also indicated as vegan. As they started to eat it, they realized there were several pieces of paneer in it. I really hope this was a one off because this was one of my favorite places to eat Indian food. Very very disappointing and no accommodation for the inedible dishes.

The Dhaba does not disappoint either, and deserve every five star review they get. Mental note to self, go down a level in heat to a 2 when ordering because they do it spicy! Their garlic naan was awesome, and the Chicken Tikka Masala was wonderful. The portion size was just right. The true winner however was the Tandoori chicken. We did a half order of it, and decided next time we would do a full order and an order of the Butter chicken to split. The waiters and owners were very attentive, and it was a pleasant atmosphere on the inside. Parking is a bit tight out front but there is plenty of parking out back.

We ordered from a kiosk and got a recommendation from one of the workers which was nice. You can watch them assemble your food on the line which is cool. There's lots of seating inside so it's a nice casual spot. First of all the prices here are incredible, our pita wrap was only $9, and an additional $1 to "make it viral" (crispy). The food took a really long time to come out, there was quite a few people waiting in front of us which is why I think it took so long, they also seemed to grill all the meats to order so I'm not super mad about the wait. The meat inside the wrap wasn't super flavorful, but still pretty good. All the hummus, sauce, and pickles really brought it all together. I probably wouldn't get it crispy next time since it honestly hurt the inside of my mouth, and just seemed to kind of make it greasy, it wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be, just kinda hard. All that said, it's not the best thing I've ever had but the price makes it so good. I would definitely come here again

I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm. This place reminds me that consistency is underrated. Years later, I came back, and it was just as good as I remembered. Great food, great service, great value.
