    Chipotle fry sauce lol
    Jenny P.

Cubby's is a decent choice for fast vegetarian food near where I was recently staying while visiting in the area. The concept is cute, too. A meat eater and vegatarian married and wanted to open an eatery with things both of them were interested in eating. I chose a cup of tomato basil soup with coconut shavings and a loaded grilled cheese for an early lunch one day during my trip. The coconut shavings on the soup was a little weird but I thought it tasted good regardless. I thought the grilled cheese was delicious and had fresh veggies sliced up inside, crisp and tasty. They were not soggy, even with the melted cheese. Don't ask me how. When they get too soggy, me no likee. Service here is quick, but I kind of see what people mean in their reviews about it being lackluster. It gets the job done at least. There are tables and booths in the dining area, and you'll need to look at the menu on the walls as you wait in line before you go up to order. At the soda fountain they had Barq's red cream soda, which I had never seen before. I don't typically drink full sugar sodas because they're too syrupy, but I wanted to try this weird new to me flavor, and I'm glad I did. It was kinda like strawberries and cream? But maybe I was imagining the strawberries because it was red in color? I dunno. Cool that they had it. I still don't understand fry sauce, but their chipotle version was tasty. I would come to Cubby's again if I was craving more fast casual setting, veggie friendly options in the area. They have a handful of vegan choices too. It seemed to mostly just be quinoa and salad, so if you're vegan and looking for something more hearty, Cubby's might not do it based on what they have available at the time For example, black bean burgers and avocado toast were "out" when I was there, even though they were on the menu. Vegetarians will be in luck with actual choice though.

I've been to cubby's countless times and I've always left happy. Each of the menu options are quality and fresh. The drive thru option is great for a quick lunch/dinner meal.

Food is always on point! Quick service and healthier ingredients. We stop here every time we are in Utah. Our kids love coloring the cute hats while they wait for their food.

Came here for lunch and I have yo say it was amazing. I got the tacos and they were mouthwateringly delicious. I also had their huckleberry shake. And wow. I've never tasted anything like it. But it was so good. I had to get another one on the way out. If you need a nice fresh place to eat. This is a must stop.

    Tri-tip steak sandwich El Caliente

I approached Cubby's since the building looked nice and it said locally grown organic food. Walking in seemed like a nice clean atmosphere in an almost chipotle type line set up. The staff wasn't unfriendly but would have been nice to see a smile and the music was a tad to loud. Now for the part where I tell you why this is by far the best food and sandwich I've been eaten-and I love sandwiches and have eaten many many of them. I ordered the tri steak elcaliente sandwich. Amazing perfectly toasted bread, perfectly holding tender tasty steak topped with a sweet yet spicy sauce which complimented the tiny light green home grown jalepenos on top, it was picture perfect, but the flavor and the freshness of the sandwich is what will leave you floored. I often see in movies and even shows where the music comes on and it's almost a love scene between the guy and the food, this was that moment. If you haven't tried Cubby's, you haven't eaten yet.

    Clean inside. Very bright.

Staff was super helpful and took our order promptly. Menu didn't really have a lot on it compared to other restaurants in the area. This may be there thing. My gypsy burger was delicious. The bun was amazing and the vegetables fresh. The food was fairly expensive for what you are getting. Salad, burger and fries, etc. for 3 peeps we were right at 60$, kid you not. While I love fresh food that is healthy, there has to be a balance between price and value. This might only be a once in a while type of stop in due to the cost. Great food, but not even a date night/fancy place vibe so the cost seemed not in align for the restaurant type. I think it's worth a stop in, and I encourage you to decide for yourself. Seems like a family business, but I wasn't able to confirm. The place was clean and very well lit. Thanks for a new place to try in the Sandy area!

    Kale salad

Great casual joint for dinner with a simple menu of salads, sandwiches, breakfast and great sauces for fries. Great seating inside and out.

$12 just for this burger with a gluten free bun. Where's the blue cheese.. oh it's mixed in w/the meat. Maybe a teaspoon full, if that

Where's the beef??? Over priced for a party smaller then my small hand, the tomato was thicker then the burger. $40 for a salad, 1 burger and fries. Are you kidding me. The table was disgusting, we had to clean it ourselves. So disappointing. I can't believe they claim this is fresh meat... the fries are worse then McDonalds, and that's not saying much. We ordered the "rosemary" fries. Couldn't even taste the seasoning. Honestly, I'd never go back and when someone wants a burger recommendation, I'd tell them to go to Wendy's. And I won't even eat at Wendy's. The owners really need to be ashamed for what they are actually selling. I mean... the bun was about all I could taste.

    Wild rice and kale

I went with a big group last night (Thursday at about 7) and they easily accommodated us. Everyone but a couple people got their food in a timely fashion and they did notice the couple people and fix it in their own. I got the wild rice and kale to balance out a heavy lunch (I don't normally order super healthy stuff) and it was alright. My complaint is that the flavor was pretty heavy on cumin? I could be wrong on the spice but it just didn't match the other flavors. My friend shared some maple sweet potato fries and they were amazing as usual. I thought it was weird we all got to go containers even though we said we were eating in... I feel like their food is prettier and actually tastes better when it's plated to stay.

Salads and meat are consistently good. My faves are the mixed berry and tri-tip salads. Also--best sweet potato fries in the valley by far!

Even the ice cream flavors and drinking chocolate get clever historically-inspired names, which adds to the charm. Portions are generous. I usually get the one scoop, which in reality is three small scoops. Get two if you're sharing, and three if you can handle a full sugar coma. My personal favorite, after working my way through nearly the entire menu, is the Abigail Adams' Salted Crack Cookie with salted caramel, cookie chunks, roasted pecans, and smoked almonds. Simply delicious. I'm happy to pay the fair price for premium ice cream this good. They recently opened the Lehi-Traverse Mountain location, and it's packed on weekends. They were so patient with me while I tried (yes...) five different flavors before deciding. Jeff was especially great; he had a genuine smile the whole time and handed me each sample like he was excited for me to try it. I'm originally from Louisiana, so the John Jay's Louisiana Purchase Pralines & Cream immediately caught my eye, and it truly tasted like home. The French brown butter vanilla, New Orleans pralines, and butterscotch swirl were absolutely perfect together. I also loved The Tory Apathy--cheesecake ice cream with black raspberry swirls. Both flavors were bold and explosive without being overwhelming, and that really stood out to me. I normally stick to chocolate or coffee ice cream, but these two completely won me over. The texture is a little more on the icy, compact side, but the flavor payoff makes up for it. Overall, such a fun, delicious, memorable stop!

He reached out and made it good. I always say that there's no way any business gets a perfect score. But when it does get a report of a bad experience, it is always an opportunity to show how you handle complaints and can even win more loyalty or more regular customers. Businesses should always use such times to show their customer service side. I've seen it happen both ways, for the business' benefit and also for handling things in a negative way. I came during the lunch rush. Bottom line is that I got my order quickly. Smiles all around from the employees, they were very nice and interested in serving their customers. I got my favorite, the #13 The Original Italian. They just pack their sandwiches with a ton of meat and veggies. Love it. Why, oh why would anyone go to Subw**? Subw** shops has that processed smell, can't describe it any other way. Jersey Mike's subs just taste more fresh all the way around and not processed like that other chain's sandwiches. Anyway, very pleased with the service and the quality of my sandwich. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!
