We are in from out of town and looking for good local options. This was just ok. The menu was good. Ingredients were fresh. Beef was delicious. I'm a fan of certified angus beef. It's a big step up from the other "angus" burgers that have popped up on menus over the years. We ate off of different sections of the menu and it was all good with the exception of the kids. Kids menu was poor but that's not too unusual among fast casuals. I knocked off two stars for value. As others have said, portions are really bad. Our family spreads from kindergarten to teenagers and two adults. Everyone ate something different. Prices are not cheap. We dropped a lot of money and everyone left hungry. Seems like this is consistent feedback. Hopefully the owner is able to take it onboard and make some adjustments. I love cubby's. the food is normally great and it's a really clean place but i was REALLY disappointed today. I had a short time in between my classes at school to come grab food at 11:00am. I got there, ordered food, and waited for 20 minutes with no other customers in the store and not a long drive thru line. My food was sitting out and had flies circling it with employees talking and laughing right in the middle of their shift not giving a care of my food. Love Cubby's! During the pandemic it has become our go-to restaurant for whatever the occasion since there are options for everyone in our family. If we are looking for healthy options, their salads are amazing. The Tri-tip salad and chicken/kale/wild rice salad are two of our favorites. Their burgers and sandwiches are fabulous as well. The Dragonslayer and Tri-tip with sweet BBQ are our favorites. Was disappointed when we went. We were excited to sit down and enjoy our evening. Maybe due to COVID but they brought out our food in to go boxes and the fries were cold. They botched our order which when corrected, they seemed annoyed. Food was ok but not as great as people raved about. Also the kids high chairs were all dirty. I LOVE this place. As a vegetarian, this spot is great, the food is high quality, people are friendly, fast service, no complaints. I got the mushroom sandwich and my husband got the black bean burger, both were delicious! We also got some sweet potato fries and those were amazing. We get one of their cookies every time and they are always sooo good. We have tried the chocolate cream cheese and spice cake. We met the owner last time and he was really friendly. I love cubby's!! I've been going regularly for 4 years, and there isn't anything I haven't loved. I especially love their buffalo fries though, they are so good. The atmosphere is fun and the customer service is great. I love that they use great quality ingredients but that they're not overpriced. I'm honestly not one to leave reviews, especially bad ones. I work in the service industry and I know how stressful being low staffed is but today was ridiculous. The man taking my order was rude and short with me for absolutely no reason. Then I paid $50 for food that was gross, cold and missing so many things. A good size salad with fresh greens, grilled chicken breast with Buffalo sause, red onions, tomatoes, bacon pieces, walnuts and a light vinaigrette dressing. Very tasty! Food is always 10/10. I haven't had a meal I haven't loved. I just am not the most impressed by the service here. Frequently have incredibly long wait times and when the staff has messed up my order I haven't felt they are the friendliest about fixing it. Having just moved to Draper, I'm always in search of somewhere to eat. Today, I needed lunch quick and remembered seeing Cubby's was a "healthier" alternative to abundance of fast food here. I went online and ready about them, and so related to their story. Red meat eater husband, salad craving wife... I decided to drive through today. I really appreciate they don't automatically put syrup on the sweet potato fries. They are sauce heavy, but with the holidays, Paleo has had to be put on a 50/50 schedule. I had the tri-tip sandwich. It was cute, the bun looked similar to a hotdog bun. Now, note the mention of Paleo earlier. I found the bread pretty tasty. Maybe, non holiday season cheat worthy even. I had the sweet BBQ sauce on it. Over all the sandwich was a good lunch option. I gave Cubby's a 2.5-3 (coming from San Francisco and Austin). The quality seemed good. I didn't have to skip any bites of meat due to toughness. The sweet potato fries are crinkle and we're even crunch when I returned home to eat them. Their menu sign isn't a permanent sign yet, so I had trouble telling if they have GF bun options, but when a need for non-sit down food arises again, I'd go back. read more

I went through the drive-through which took quite a long time, but I understand that they are understaffed. The half salad I bought was $9 and it was very small. There was maybe a half of a chicken breast on there (which I expected because it's a half salad, but it was a very small breast) and romaine lettuce, a few cherry tomatoes, and parmesan cheese. That's it. For $9? The dressing tasted like it was pure lemon juice and my mouth instantly developed a sore from the acidity. I ate it because I was starving and I'm on a Keto diet so it was my only option because I took it back to my work and couldn't leave again to get anything else. I come here once a week because why wouldn't you' go to a place with good fresh food. The sweet potato fries are so so so so good! I usally get the salad or the black bean burger and their both really good. They are usually busy so make sure you repeat your order or they can mess it up it has happened a few times to us. We ordered a Houdini burger, a tri-tip sandwich and fries. I was hoping for a hot, juicy flavorful burger, but it was basically the opposite. We waited quite a while for our food and I wonder if it sat around before it was delivered to our table. The burger bun was gigantic, dry and hard. I'm a sucker for good buns & these did nothing for me. The hamburger and mushrooms were cold, the cheese not melted, the sauce was undetectable, the bacon was like a piece of tough, dry beef jerky and I'm sure the crispy onions were missing all together. I was so surprised at how much I loved this place! Their food was so fresh and the quality of it was really impressive, considering you could drive through it and it looked like a fast food place. I had their lemon chicken salad and the dressing was perfectly light and the chicken was restaurant quality. The only issue I had was that the wait in the drive-through was considerably longer than I would have preferred. They apologized for the wait, so I'm not sure if that is the norm.
