Astro Burgers is a solid fast food option in the area. You can find the usual suspects on the menu - burgers, fries, chicken fingers, etc. I did try the tuna melt and was pleasantly surprised. Cheese fries are also pretty decent here, it has actual cheese melted on top, not the liquid nacho cheese. Milkshakes are just okay but if you need something sweet, it will do. Overall a much better option than McDonalds if you're craving no-frills burgers and fries or want a drive thru. read more

This place is really good. I had the Astro burger, it comes with pastrami on top. A burger with pastrami is not something that I would typically order, but I decided to try it since it's their signature burger. The fries were very good too. I love the fry sauce. I live in California, and places here don't have fry sauce like they do in Utah. The only thing that I didn't care for was the onion rings. They were really crunchy and seemed overcooked. I took them back and they gave me my money back, no questions asked, so the customer service was amazing. I definitely recommend, and will come back here when im in town next time read more

Love me an Astro Burger but do like the pastrami warm on burger. They had the best fries and onion rings. And u could drink their fry sauce it's that good. 2 piece chicken souvlaki is delicious as well I get double fries . Astro Burger is definitely a favorite of mine. read more

The meat is charbroiled and seasoned well, and plenty of melted cheese goodness. Lots mayo for the mayo fanatics out there. The Gluten Free Bun was good, didn't come apart. The owner of this place is an ignorroant sob . I was eating my meal and he approached me and told me that their water was not free and I asked him how much money did he want. I was under the impression it was free the ethnic person handed me the cups after I payed. And he proceeded to kick me out of the store and make me apologize for what I don't know. He then proceeded to kick me out of the store and said I owe him 6k. I would not recommend that store to anyone ever. read more

I am always down for Astro! I love this local burger spot. I usually just get a Jr burger with bacon or if I'm feeling something different, I'll go for the fish burger. One note on that though is the fish burger usually takes a little longer and is enough to feed two people! This place is always on our short list for options when we eat out. The kids love it and it's a childhood favorite for my husband. And I love that it's local! read more

We tried Astro burger for the first time and liked it! Even though the meat patty seemed a little thin, it was juicy and delicious. We also really enjoyed the flavor of the fries and fry sauce! The kids menu had lots of options, which is super nice when you have kids who all like different things. This has been a continual problem at this location and today was the last draw. If this is their business model now, they won't survive. First, at the drive through 9 times out of 10 the employee does not speak English well enough to get passed the limitations of the speaker. Secondly, they interrupt you ordering to ask questions forcing you to repeat your order several times and still manage to get it wrong. Third, my fault for not thoroughly checking my order and holding up everyone behind me, they forgot my fries and the sandwich looked and tasted like they hit it with a flamethrower. Lastly, when I called to complain, they guy said sorry, come back, but I was already 10 miles away. My husband and I definitely enjoy a pastrami burger and honestly I can't say one is better than the other. What I can say is tonight I was SO impressed with how friendly the staff was! My family usually visits Astro Burger because they have dedicated gluten free fryers and gluten free buns. But today I was on my own (no need for gluten free). Good Mushroom Swiss Burgers and fries. We have visited two of the three Astro Burgers and they were both great. They have really good Greek food and their burgers are amazing. My son ordered the pastrami burger and it's not one of his favorite burgers. I always get the chicken kabob with salad and lemon rice. It is also one of my favorites. My son's girlfriend had never been until a few weeks ago, she ordered a regular cheeseburger and I guess she loved it because she requested to go back again today and got the cheeseburger. This is a great locally-~owned family business that always has clean tables and really good food. All of the restaurants have family working there to make sure the quality and service is good, they don't pan it off to others. They take their business seriously. (I believe it's the same family as the one who owns Crown Burger, but I'm not positive. The food is very similar.)The menu has a LOT if choices and it's always good. They even have fry sauce for your fries, a definite indicator they are a Utah business! Food cost is average to slightly more than a regular fast food place, but it's worth it. Food is made to order, tastes better than the other fast food chains, and is always great! The restaurant is large for fast food, if you have a big group there is plenty of room for you. My son's whole soccer team and their families would hit this place whenever they played close by, and we always were able to sit together. I love this place. We have between going here for years, it's good and service we have never been disappointed in their food. read more

Only decent place I know of to get a farmhouse style burger served with a fried egg on top. Astro burger is a place I keep coming back to for consistently great quality and great prices. I love coming here for lunch and relaxing with a burger and a YouTube video. The service here is great too. My burger was done and my fries were taking a little longer so they insisted on bringing my fries to my table. They didn't have to, I know they're running a drive thru, but I appreciated the gesture. Been back numerous times since this original 2015 review and it's as good as it gets. Even had a Jr. Astro Burger last night, and it was de-lish! Just last weekend I had the Greek salad and it's always awesome, especially with the added Gyro meat. Can't go wrong with this Draper store. They're always busy and quick with the piping hot food. Oh, and our little 13-year-old Italian Greyhound 'Mia' loves their vanilla cones upside down in cups. Our male Iggy, 'Chase', loved them too and would actually gulp down the ice cream in large chunks (lick-lick-gulp!) Can't imagine what IG brain freeze felt like! I visited Astro Burger in 12300 in Draper an hour ago. No Double Burger on the menu? I thought, Seriously? I mean, really? A burger joint with "Burger" in the name and No Double Burger? "I'll throw an extra patty on for you" said the voice in the box. I paid $17.50 for a Burger, Fries and Diet Coke. Never Ever Ever before have I paid so much for those three items. I certainly paid for the extra patty, yet I have no receipt. Long story short, I only had one patty when I asked for and paid for two. I am mystified why no double burger is on the menu. I feel very violated I paid for something I did not receive. They seem like they will do fine without my business, but I am telling everyone I can. Ripped off at Astro Burger! read more

This place never disappoints! They have some of the best hamburgers, tuna melts, pastrami, milk shakes, and their French fries are amazing! All food is made to order and grilled on an open flame. I opt for the cheeseburger value meal with a strawberry banana milkshake. It's pretty much heaven in my mouth. As for "fast food", this is in my top 5 burger joints. read more

What I appreciate the most about Astro Burger is when the world is in the throes of a pandemic, geopolitical disaster, and shortages, they did not jack up the prices of their food. Speaking of which everything I have had there has been stellar. Although I hate the fact that I am forced to be on a diet due to surgery. However, that being said their Greek salad makes me appreciate vegetables, and because of Astro burger I have consumed more vegetables in the last few months than in my entire lifetime outside of fries and potato chips. First time eating Astro and heard it was like crown and apallo. Prices are definitely similar but the quality and taste was unfortunately different. Got the Astro burger which comes with pastrami. The amount of pastrami was nice, but the Patty was so thin I didn't even realize there was a beef patty. The fries had an interesting gritty like texture. This is one of my favorite fast food places in all of Draper. At Astro, I get a simple cheeseburger combo most of the time, and I can't get enough of their food. The fries always feel fresh and they're not skimpy with their fries' cut. The thing that really seals the deal though is the in-house fry sauce dispensers! It makes the fries taste 3 times better! Clean, fast, yummy and endless drinks. I like this location better than the one in Midvale..like 10x better. Service from the 2 people I came into contact with were pleasant. Food was good. I had a double cheeseburger with onion rings and Powerade. (Coke products at this location) Perfectly cooked, seasoned accordingly, onion rings weren't soggy, ranch (my go to dipping sauce) was just the way I like it and the machine giving me my Powerade was calibrated (yes, it needs to done LOL) to give it an even flavor. My family that I came with (5 adults and 3 kids) enjoyed their food as well...philly cheesesteak, patty melt, bacon double cheeseburger, chicken strips, fried chicken w/ pita bread and fries. SO good. I went here two weeks in a row since it is close to my office. Week one - I received someone lesser order at drive thru. Not a pleasant thing to find out when I got to my office. And it was awful at best. Week two- I got my gyro right this time but again it was less than pleasant. I am a huge gyro fan and this was not even a close imitation of one.
