The food was great and the staff helpful and nice. The strawberries on my Nutella waffle were incredibly fresh and served with real whipping cream. The waffles were crispy and not too sweet (though the mass of Nutella took care of that). Everything was very clean with two exceptions. My knife had residue on it (stuck despite cleaning) and the outdoor chairs were dirty. read more

I enjoy Waffle Love, they have good menu items that are tasty. Their waffles are good, so whatever you get to go on them or with them or around them, it's going to be good. Prices are OK, wish they were a bit cheaper, but that's par for the course. Whether you are looking for something sweet or savory, breakfast or dinner, or late night snack, Waffle Love fits the bill. The help is always friendly. Your order may take a little longer than you think because for some reason, they have only a few waffle irons. But it's good and satisfying. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Bahhh I forgot to take pictures! It smelled so good I had to eat it right away. We went through drive thru. Ordered sausage Sammy and cinnalove waffle Sammy was good with the syrup definitely messy and can't be eaten in the car. Cinnalove had too much cream cheese for me. made it soggy kind of. They do make the food fresh so we waited about 10-15 min from the time we ordered so don't expect to leave right away. I'd like to just try a plan waffle with just the sugar crystals nothing else. Came on a Friday mid-morning into the drive-thru. No one was there, just me! Friendly service. I ordered a Sausage Sammy and a Cinna Waffle. It took about 10 min because they make everything on the spot, rather than having things pre-made. Love that. Sausage Sammy was really good. It does get messy. The Cinna Waffle was crazy good! The only thing ide ask for next time is a little less frosting. PRO TIP: if you're expecting to take a breakfast sandwich "on-the-go" in the car, think again. It does get messy. Be ready to eat on a table. TIP: Again, since everything is made to order, it may take a bit. If you're in a hurry, order ahead of time for pickup, or just be prepared to wait 10-20 min. read more

We were across the street going to discount tires and happened to see this on the road. I knew Waffle Love from their time on the Great Food Truck Race, so I told my husband we had to get breakfast there. We decided to walk in, but noticed they did have a drive-through. We were the only customers in the store at the time. We were bummed they were out of strawberries, so we couldnt get anything with strawbrries. I ordered the seasonal pumpkin waffle with biscoff cookies on top and my husband got the chicken and waffles. There was only 1 poor guy working the in-person and the drive through, so service was a little slow, but we did get our waffles eventually. My husband loved his and I did enjoy mine, but it was very sweet (and i normally love sweet things). The inside of the building was very big, so lots of places to sit and great for groups. read more

Not a big fan of the food. The restaurant is very small and crowded. The restaurant is not clean. Order the avocado chicken and I think the sauce was too sweet for me. I paid almost $5 for the fries and there was like literally only 20 fries. I had to go back and talk to the employee. I don't recommend this place. Unless you have a very sweet tooth. read more

The Waffle Love Draper location delivers the same menu of sweet and savory waffle choices other WL locations have, and they're pretty darn good. My only downside is that one waffle isn't enough to fill me up, but most cost around $9-13 each, which seems a bit much for a single waffle. While there is a dining area, it's pretty small--only about 9 or so tables in the restaurant, so it fills up pretty fast during the brunch hours on Saturdays. For me, I like Waffle Love and will probably come back once, maybe twice per year, but it wouldn't be my first stop for breakfast and brunch, especially if I was with a party of four or more people. read more

Hi, I have been a customer since you guys would park your food truck at an O'reileys parking lot between west valley and Taylorsville I love your waffles and I've never had any complaint This past Thursday 3/4/24 I went down to your store here in Draper and had a very unfortunate encounter with the cashier there She said her name was Daniela with a last name that starts with the letter G She has dark hair and look about 20? There was another employee there as well They almost look like sisters Anyway the place was empty I was the only customer They took 22 minutes to provide me with my waffles which I noticed but wasn't upset about What got me upset was that when she came to the window She Looked at me up and down with disgust Then turned around (giving her back to me with window fully open) puts her elbows against the window and continues to have her conversation with the other girl I was kind of shocked It was rude and confusing I gave it about a two minutes asking myself why she would do this and when I realize they were just having a personal conversation I tell her (not rudely at all) "Excuse me can I have my food and be charged please" She did not like me saying this She charges, me basically throws my food at me Not saying a word but just giving me the worst looks ever, and then slams the window at me I honk since she had closed the window without even a thank you come again and I asked for the manager She said she was the manager, "the only manager" I asked if there was anyone else And she mentioned a "Carlos" I kind of gave up at this point And just asked her name I can honestly say I did nothing to this individual for this kind of service And felt very sad to see her lack of respect for the customer Plus the example she is giving other employees on how to treat customers Specially is she really truly is a manager Not to mention the fact they took almost a half hour for two waffles when the place was empty And the quality in which they delivered the product Over all a very very bad customer service as well as product Disappointed to say the least Please find my transaction receipt And pictures of the waffles I was given Definitely a half ass job to say the least Hopefully this doesn't set the tone on what we the customers can expect at waffle love read more

Waffle love has some delicious waffle like Nutella, strawberries and whipped cream. My kids got the Nutella love and devoured it! I tried the chicken tartine that had grilled chicken, bacon, grilled peppers and onions, avocado, sweet hot sauce and candy in a croissant waffle. The staff were friendly and we got our food very quickly. The restaurant is small but is colorful with pink walls and fun artwork. We like to come to waffle love every once in awhile but not not too frequently because it is a little pricey. read more

The food has been really good in the past. This place does not match the energy it used to. This has been the 3rd time I've ordered a food item in the drive thru and received something incorrect. It's annoying because I've left a tip each time to get home and see it's the wrong and often less expensive item. They even repeated my order at the window to only give me the wrong. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because they give me a cup of whipped cream for my dog. I will not be going back, this place is incredibly inconsistent on top of looooong wait times. read more

I love waffle love! I have one near my house and always get my same favorite - so when I saw there was a location near my hotel while I was traveling I was excited ! Had a couple people with me so we got several things and everyone loved what they got ! Staff was super friendly at this location! I got the breakfast sandwich and the croissant waffle may now be my favorite ! All the flavors melded together for deliciousness bite after bite! The waffle was flaky and spectacular! Everything was delicious, fast and tasted super fresh! We got the bananas foster, the red wonder and some orange juice. The orange juice tasted fresh and didn't seem to be watered down or have added sugar like at other places I've ordered at. The croissant waffle on the bananas foster was amazingly flaky and the red wonder had really fresh tasting raspberries and strawberries. It also wasn't overly sweet. Oh my goodness. I had no idea what to expect when my friend said she wanted to buy me breakfast from one of her favorite spots before l headed to the airport. It was a lot for 1 person to finish, but it made for 2 great meals. The sweet signature waffle was really good as well but definitely on the sweet side. But out of the 2, the savory waffle was my favorite - the breakfast Sammie. Bacon, egg, and gooey cheese sandwiched between 2 crispy waffles and filled with some kind of mildly spicy sauce which just made the sandwich and put it over the top. Sooo so good. Usually we love eating here but we ordered the chicken and waffles and found huge chunks of salt within the waffle. Really ruined our appetite and unsure as to why they were in there or in such large quantities? This has never happened before so we are disappointed in the quality of our meal. We eat here often and this time they appear to have new staff that doesn't know what they're doing. We waited for our food for over 20 minutes and people that came in behind us ate and left before we received our food. Ice machine is broken and nobody was offered ice from their machine they have at the drive thru window so many people were complaining about drinking warm sodas. I asked for ice and they gave me a cup from their other machine. The food was good. Management needs to improve here and provide better customer service. read more

We had the most delicious chicken at the Lehi location, this time we came to the Draper location and they wouldn't substitute the fried chicken for the grilled chicken, which was annoying, yet when we ordered the chicken sliders which comes with grilled chicken, it was DISGUSTING. We informed them and they were nice about it and willing to recook them, but they were still nasty. My best guess is the oil was rancid. The chicken also seemed over cooked. Maybe something was wrong with the batter? I'm not 100% sure, but it was gross. If I were the owner, I'd want to know so I could fix this issue. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would have been disappointed with the chicken especially when we know how delicious it's supposed to be. read more

I ordered their grilled cheese with tomato bisque... and it was heavenly! The sandwich was piping hot and very cheesy (as a grilled cheese should be), and the cheese they used was very delish! As for the tomato bisque, it was hot & creamy and had just the right amont of sweetness to it. I wish I could have snapped a picture... but I inhaled it too fast, lol. Very casual inside, white walls with metal chairs and concrete floor. Very simple. Very small space. About 14 tables. I have food, allergies, and the waitress answered all of my questions. But then she sent the chef/owner, Julius, over to talk with me. Pleasant man from Chicago. But his recipes are all from his family who lived in the South. I ordered the fried catfish which is accompanied with two sides. I chose the candied yams and the mac & cheese. My husband ordered the fried chicken with mashed potatoes, potatoes, and gravy and the macaroni and cheese. Both plates are served with a slice of cornbread with a large honey butter smothered on top. The food came out very hot. The breading on the catfish is very thick and a lot of spices. I was pleasantly surprised when I cut my catfish and discovered it was deboned and tender. The mac & cheese was creamy and the candied yams were super sweet. Just the way I prefer them. They did seem a bit runny, but the flavor was good. The fried chicken was unbelievably moist. The breading was thick and crunchy. The mashed potatoes were of course, homemade with spices, and the brown gravy is chicken based. The cornbread was delicious. Comes with a slab of honey butter. I only wish it was served warm. It would've made the experience perfect. The food portions are large. The food has wonderful flavor with the perfect spice and southern heat. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would give it 4.8 stars. The only two things that brought it down from a perfect score were the cornbread being cold, and the restaurant was not a cozy feel. Please come check this restaurant out and meet Julius.
