Sandwich was great. Fresh ingredients and bread. Cookies homemade and better value than large chains. Kitchen looks pristine and organized!

So when I learned that a Panera Bread was opening not too far from my home, I was stoked. But I patiently waited for all the hype to calm down before I made my first visit. Tonight was the night-my friend and I visited for a post-work dinner and I ordered my beloved soup. Unfortunately, what I got was a regular chicken noodle soup. I opted to go ahead and eat it since I don't like to cause a fuss nor do I like to waste food. The soup was pretty good, but I really wanted that soup I'd tried earlier in the year. Oh well, next time. Service was friendly and the store was spotless clean. There were some delicious looking baked goods in the case that I'm not regretting passing up. I think I'll need a re-do for the soup and will get one of those honkin' cookies that looks so yummy.

Here are my complaints with this new location... 1. I went through the drive through. I understand salad/sandwich places can take longer but yikes... 35 minutes with a screaming 5 month old. And once you are in the drive through you are stuck. I was pissed. If you are going to build a drive through, you have to be efficient enough to run the drive through. 2. Portions. My sandwich was ok, could have used more meat based on the cost. My salad was pitiful especially for $8. 3. Presentation. I wasn't asked what side I wanted (I was given a baguette but would have preferred the chips), and it was just tossed into my to go bag. Sanitation issue I would think. Honestly probably won't waste my time here again.

I was told, the Entrees are made to take and heat at home. Everything is made to order so it's fresh! Just be prepared to wait....for a while.....she did give us a heads up it was gonna be about 15-20, but it pushed closer to 25-30. Coming off a flight hungry, we are doubting our decision to come here. After 30 mins, our food finally arrives! We got the house sandwich (ham and turkey w/lettuce tomato and homemade herb Dijon sauce). It was served with a sugar cookie and a cup of pasta salad. Not bad for $16.99! The sandwich was delicious and tasty! Maybe cause we were beyond starving. The pasta salad was just ok. The sugar cookie was nice and soft. It wasn't crumbly or dry. The frosting on top had just enough sweetness to give the cookie some flavor. My daughter got the roast beef sandwich which came with cheese, a bunch of arugula, and a homemade garlic horseradish sauce. She opted out of the pickled onions. Her sandwich also came with a cup of pasta salad and a sugar cookie. The sandwich was flavorful and the peppery arugula completed the sandwich. We both agreed that the roast beef sandwich was the better of the two. All-in-all this is a good sandwich place. One thing I didn't care for was the long wait. I understand that they might have been a bit busy and everything is made to order, but the time that I was quoted to what we actually waited, we probably would have gone somewhere else.

As a matter of fact, there is only one small table there if you choose to dine in, and there is a couch there, mostly for patrons waiting for their order. Renee's (owner, chef) philosophy is that we do not spend enough time at home. She says to take her food home, eat with family, friends. Eat in your pajamas. Relax, enjoy. We work to hard, we are too busy. Food and mealtime should be a remedy for that, at the very least, a respite. Renee took time to visit with me. She is outgoing and a very cheerful person, a delight to converse with. She has extensive experience in the hospitality field and a great education with a Culinary Degree from Le Cordon Bleu. And it shows. Now the food--wow. The House Sandwich Box was outstanding. Just the right amount of ingredients to balance all the flavors. I must say that this is one of the very few, if not the only times, that we have actually tasted *smoked* turkey in a sandwich. Other sandwiches may say they use smoked turkey, but this one tasted smokey and boy was it good! You must try the piri piri chicken. And like Renee points out and as other reviews here have instructed, you use the slaw that comes with it with every bite because it compliments the flavors of the chicken. So, so good! The kitchen area is cordoned off with glass so that you can watch them prepare the meals. It is a cozy little place, but works well with what Renee is trying to do. Let's get the word out about this place! She is in her second year and I want this restaurant to succeed! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

For those who are complaining about bad customer service because workers aren't paying enough attention to you, that's a YOU problem. I came here tonight w/girlfriends and the 1st worker that helped take our orders greeted us kindly even w/the chaos of phone orders and in person orders. She still tried to be kind, it goes both ways. They had trainees as well and they still did their best. I can appreciate that wish all y'all complaining would get off your high horses. For crying out loud they're there to make you yummy food, not treat you like your the most important person in the room today. Have some Grace my gosh. Came here again but this time I got to try a soup and sandwich and WOW!!! My total came out to $19 combo w/a chocolate mousse cheesecake on the side. Everything was so delicious! I got the Fall items. Some kind of viral bacon sandwich that I had on wheat. It was so bougie lol and I loved every bit of it hahaha fresh apples, carmelized onions, bacon grilled cheese say whaaaaat?!? It was deliciously bougie and I give it a 10/10. The pumpkin chorizo soup was so flavorful you might want 2 breads lol and it was flavorful in a good way ;) The mousse cheesecake melted in my mouth, if you like chocolate mousse like me you'll love it! I devoured everything on my tray! I'll be back because I have got to try more sandwiches & soups. I sampled the mushroom bisque and that was so good, that'll be on my next trip. Place was clean and crowded, that is for a reason. This place deserves 5 stars!!!

I really loved both, their grilled cheese is yummy! I also love to get the nourish bowls normally, super yummy, filling and a little healthier. The workers are nice, but very slow. It wasn't crowded but took forever to get through the line and that seems to happen frequently. Other than that, good place!
