Fruit and Nut sandwich
Rebecca N.

This Great Harvest is particularly good, with friendly staff and quick service. They give generous samples and have new sandwich combinations regularly. I generally get the classic turkey and am always happy with it. Today we got a new menu item, the fruit and nut - Nutella, strawberries, almond slivers and powdered sugar all on their dense and delicious white bread. More of a dessert than lunch perhaps, but would def order again. Their baked goods are always delicious and you can't go wrong with any of their breads.

As soon as you walk in to Great Harvest, you will be enveloped with the fabulous smell of fresh-baked bread, plus cookies, scones, cinnamon rolls, and whatever other baked goodies they are making. Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious without all the added chemicals and preservatives of regular bakery items. Although bread is our primary reason to visit, we love their sandwiches, salads, and scones. I often stop by when I'm looking for a gift, and they'll happily package up a combo of bakery items and fun things from their gift selection. Everyone there is always really helpful and the service is consistently positive and fun. I can't ever resist a free sample!

Crazy fog day ... right by Great Harvest!

The manager of this Holladay store sets the feel for this Harvest Bread company! He loves his store and his customers... he gives away a ton of free samples to the kids and junior high kids that stop in after school. This store is just a great part of the Holladay community and has had to move so many times with all the construction! The sandwiches are amazing and the double cinnamon bread is soooooo goooood! Stop by often!

Always my top choice for a sandwich! The fresh bread can't be beat. The best part is always getting a fresh pastry while you're there too. My fave is a scone. Can get a little busy at lunch time.

Easter sugar cookies from the Holladay location.

Been going to different great harvest locations for years but this Holladay location is by far our favorite! The staff is awesome and everything is always fresh I love the breads and sandwiches but our favorite thing about this location is the way they do their holiday sugar cookies! The other locations seem to do a thicker and richer frosting but this is the only one that seems to do a nice even glaze layer of frosting and they are so delicious. We order multiple times each holiday and share with friends and family. Make sure to get your sugar cookies from this location! You will be happy you did!

Delicious in every way. The oatmeal cookies seem to be overpriced. Sandwiches and bread products are excellent.

Their cinnamon bread is amazing. I always get two loaves. Sometimes three and take it to work to share.

Ordered a 1/2 turkey avocado sandwich on toasted ciabatta bread (my choice) with chips and iced dark mocha. All under $20.00. Absolutely delicious! Am going to try and get back here for another tomorrow or Tuesday it was so good. Tried the beef stew and I swore my mother was behind the counter cooking it!!! Exactly like hers with those tasty flavors! I'll be back for that too! Yum! That little trip to look for a sandwich really paid off! Sweet little spot with exceptional customer service! Hard to find these little gems and here this one is!! I'd be here regularly if I wasn't just visiting.

The 1/2 sandwich and soup combo was perfect for lunch. It also came with a drink and bag of chips. The roast beef wasn't dry and had flavor to it. They didn't skimp out on the portion for the protein either. The chicken noodle soup was good, nothing crazy. I believe I saw the owners talk to a group next to my table. Super friendly wife and husband. Happy I stopped by instead of driving past it like usual. Glad there's another sandwich shop in the rotation.

They do full-service sit-down and to-go orders and have a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, bagels, dessert, other New York/Jewish style deli foods, and beer! Sloppy Joe - 5/5 - A large (1/2 lb) double decker sandwich with pastrami and corned beef. There are 3 layers of bread. The meats are tender and flavorful and blend nicely together with the thousand island dressing and slaw between the layers. It also comes with a side, I picked the potato salad which was good too. Not too much mayo but it was still nice and creamy. I just wish I got a little more potato salad to match the portion size of the sandwich! Potato Latke Pancakes - 4.5/5 - They were nice, hot, and crispy. You get 2 pancakes which have a nice thickness to them too. The flavor was good, I just think you should get more sour cream and apple sauce. It comes with a small cup of each, but its not quite enough for the 2 pancakes and its 50c each to get extra! Matzo Ball Soup - 3/5 - The matzo ball and soup broth both had a good flavor. The proportions were just off however, a huge matzo ball but not enough broth. And the broth didn't have enough of chicken meat and veggies (carrot/celery). I basically had 1/2 the matzo ball left over at the end Attempted Murder Imperial Stout Beer - 5/5 - Its a vanilla cinnamon stout. The flavor is subtle but in a good way! Its not sweet, but has a smooth bitterness and mouthfeel with a slight fragrance of the vanilla cinnamon. If you like stout, def give this a try. Its a strong one too, 10.5% ABV! The restaurant was clean, service was good, and there is a good amount of seating and its decorated nicely inside. Def give this place a try!

I've been here a few times and this place does not disappoint. Before I review the food, I have to…read moretalk about the incredible service. The owner, Korbyn, was working the front, taking orders, ringing up customers, wiping down tables, checking on customers dining in, and that level of attention and care was evident with the entire staff. Now on to the food. These sandwiches are so good. We know the bread makes the sandwich and their bread is perfect for a good sando. I got the Italian cold cut combo with everything and omg. The giardiniera they top on the sandwiches really round it out. Add a side of fries that come with fry sauce and that's a damn good meal. Casual environment, counter service, went at 2pm and it was still packed. They're always busy and for good reason. But they like moves fast and the food comes out quick.

It's a small space with a few tables inside and two picnic tables outside, and was busy. Sat at the only available table which hasn't been cleaned yet (just an empty cup so not that big of a deal). Staff were friendly though. My sub was served fast, which was awesome! Maybe a minute or two after ordering. The Italian Meats sub wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. I got the large size. Sadly the portions are smaller than I expected for a "large" sub, compared to other sub places. Hoping it was going to be a well packed sub but wasn't. Overall 3 stars. Fast service, okay sub.

The gristle missile chicken surprise you won't ask for twice!…read more Ordered the new chicken hot honey giant sandwich. I just want you to know that it had a lot of gristle in the chicken. Out of 6 bites, 3 bites contained gristle I nearly choked on. If it was just one bite, I would of probably let it go. But I kept getting more gristle. I took the sandwich back to the counter to have it replaced. A blond woman helped me, she wanted to know the meaning of gristle? I told her it was like the matter under your ear skin, not bone, not skin, gristle. I wanted a new sandwich. A different kind of corse. She quickly handed me a regular ham and provolone sandwich replacement. I had to tell her I needed another regular sandwich to make it equal to the giant one I paid for. I gave them back my giant sandwich minus six bites. I paid nearly $25 bucks with a drink and a tip. The chicken sandwich was three dollars more than my ham and provolone. I didn't mind losing the three bucks. But I wanted to be treated like it wasn't cool that I had foreign objects in my chicken and they would gladly replace the whole sandwich not just part of it. I told her, never to recommend that sandwich. She had never tasted it. It was awful! It got awkward, but I'm a foodie. I don't want anybody to go through what I went through. The hot honey was not all that and a bag of chips. So, if you have a favorite this shop does a pretty good job. Don't ask for the new chicken and hot honey sandwich at least for now. And if you do order the new chicken, hot honey, surprise sandwich, tell them to hold the gristle . Second thought I think I will pass on this sandwich shop. My appetite is ruined for their sandwiches after my second sandwich was thrown at me. It was mostly bread and tasted awful. I ended up tossing that sandwich too. If I decide to ever go to a Jersey Mike's again, I will choose another shop.
