Breakfast Sammy
Taylor R.

Came here on a Saturday around 10am and it was pretty busy! Not many empty tables. The young lady who took our order got our order wrong, which we noticed on the receipt, so we had her fix it. The silverware, as you will see from the picture, was dirty. It seemed it had been washed so much, which is fine, but it makes you not want to use it. It didn't seem clean. The breakfast Sammy was good but it was not hot. The egg was cold and the sauce was too much. The bacon wasn't hot either. The red wonder was tasty but the waffle itself - not hot. I wish they had their waffles with a side of your choice; breakfast potatoes, fruit, etc. It's not the biggest portion size so you get hungry a couple hours later. They need to get new utensils. They also need to ensure their food is served hot and not sitting out long before the customer gets their order.

Waffle love is unique and delicious. I like that they have a selection of sweet and savory waffles. I like that the chicken & waffles comes with a dipping sauce and syrup. My favorite is the southwestern tartine. The bacon, cheese, grilled veggies, and avocado are so yummy on a waffle.

Eating here is very casual! If you dine in, the staff will bring the food to your table (keep in mind that you'll need to get your own utensils and clean up your dishes afterwards). There were lots of tables available. Staff was friendly and if you prefer, you can order from a computer right next to the front door rather than at the register. Waffle love has some great waffles with flavors varying from sweet to savory. My go-to here is the Red Wonder as it has Biscoff and two fruits: strawberries and raspberries. My second go-to is the chicken and waffles! Almost always, the chicken is crunchy and pairs well with the waffles. My friend got the dulce waffle. It has a big scoop of fried vanilla ice cream with strawberries, cereal and dulce de leche drizzle. It was pretty sweet and delicious. As far as parking goes, there's plenty. I've never had a hard time finding parking!

The interior design is super cute. Got the chicken and waffle, and oh my goodness the chicken portion is a lot!!! I love that. It was tasty and crispy. What caught me off guard though about the waffle is there is sugar cubes in the waffle. They have videos playing inside where they show they roll the waffle dough in sugar pieces so this is also included in the chicken and waffles dish. So its definitely not the traditional waffle here Also got a coffee and the creamer is inside of the fridge in a little sauce cup. But i wish i got the orange juice instead, looked to be freshly squeezed!

I got my first taste of WL in Provo over 10 years ago. Then in 2013, I was pregnant and drove 25 min to a food truck because I really needed to have a waffle. (Red wonder? I think. Delicious.) I've had it a few times throughout the years but am pregnant again and shocking to no one, cravings for WL have come back. I tried the dulce this time and it was delicious. Fluffy, perfect amount of flavor without being sickeningly sweet, heaps of cream AND ('fried') ice cream. It was delightful. It's been a week and I'm already trying to think of how to convince my husband to go back for more. Solid food, good service, great for a quick bite. I haven't tried their savory menu yet but maybe next time.

If you haven't been to waffle love you haven't truly tried a waffle. Personally I like the dulce waffle the best.

limited beverage selection..

Dear owner of this establishment, I'm not sure what the owner of this establishement is going for, by not having fountain drinks available. Bevarge selection is awfully limited... Zero bottle opener is a fail... No brewed hot coffee at a breakfast eatery!!?? What are you?? Anti Caffeine?? What the heck?? People are spending money at your eatery!! Food was palatable. I expected more with an eatery name of Waffle Love. Boy, I'd change the name to Waffles and Limited Drinks.... Get it together or get out of the business...

Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 3.5/5 Overall: YES YES YES! The extended review... Food: Waffle Works: 5/5 - I think this waffle takes the cake. Truly it's the best waffle I've had perhaps because it's not a traditional waffle by any means. It's all about the dough and not batter apparently! I've been a fan of this place since the van came to San Francisco and when in Utah...one must visit! Service: 4/5 - Friendly staff. Ambiance: 3.5/5 - Ample space to sit down and eat. The only thing is that staff don't really clean the tables when people leave.

Just had the most amazing Waffle experience. My daughter and I saw them on the Food Network food truck races and knew we had to try them if ever close. We are on a family road trip from San Antonio, TX and have now experienced waffle-coma. We got three to share and now trying to figure out when we come back while here close. I am quite confident there is not a bad choice there. We had the waffle dulce, cinnawaffle and the red beery waffle with cookie butter. They were all so different but scrumptious. It was a little pricey but appropriate since hands down it was the best ever. #wafflelove

The food is very good but absolutely no service and ambience is so so. So if it's all about the food then go!

I dont often review restaurants because i find most average at best. Some are terrible, they might…read moreget a review, but a few I really like. Those that I like have to meet a few requirements that I have for eating. I have celiacs, so i avoid gluten at all cost, including any moderate chance of cross contamination, Corn also bothers me so another food that I avoid. beyond that I am picky with what goes into my food and how the food is prepared. Now to the review. the first thing I do at any restaurant is ask about their gluten free options and about cross contamination. This was the first day that the Provo location was open, so I expected there would be blank stares. believe it or not that happens a lot. Here they knew about some of the food but not all of it when it came to my questions. So they went back to ask, "I want to make sure so let me ask". the next thing i knew I was speaking to the owner, going over all of the items and the options I had and what to avoid. He made some suggestions and we went ahead with our order. I got. the tri tip steak and my wife got gnochi. Oh another thing about how i like my food. I like the ingredients, steak, potatoes, vegetables, etc, seasoned and not the other way around. I find a lot of places over season their food. Not here. the steak, veggies, and mashed potatoes were lightly seasoned, just enough to enhance the flavor but not overwhelm the core ingredient. the steak was tender, the vegetables perfectly cooked and seasoned. I didn't even try and figure our what seasonings they used, I just enjoyed the meal. Short of this part of the meal, fantastic. With the gnochi, we had a little bit of an issue. There was a problem with how they were cooked, they were a little stiffer than they should be, but the sauce they were in was fantastic. BTW, they are not gluten free, so this is my wife's perspective. When they asked how our meal was we mentioned that to them. They looked at the gnochi and agreed. they then didn't just correct the issue, but went above and beyond. They asked if we wanted something else, made a suggestion since we couldn't decide and prepared that for us. They also did something else while we were there. They tried to make more batches of the gnocchi, not for us but so that they could see what went wrong. Then came back and told us what they had done and the results. The service was some of the best I have ever had. They had a good selection of gluten free options, depending on your sensitivity your options might change, but there are plenty of options and a few that are not on the menu. The owner suggested a burger on mashed potatoes, even though they have a gluten free bun. My gluten sensitvity is pretty high, so he was providing as many options for me as possible. All in all, I really liked the food, the service, and the attention to my food sensitivities.

Great start. The menu is small but filled with a wonderful assortment or mouth-watering options. It was incredibly hard to narrow down what I wanted. I asked the server for some help choosing and was expertly guided to what my stomach desired. I ordered the pub burger (patty, pepper jack cheese, bacon jam, crispy onions and lemon pepper aioli) with fries. Hubby had the fish and chips. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time (20 minutes or so) and was visually stunning. My first bite of the pub burger was a melody of crunch from the onions, juicy juice from the nicely seasoned burger patty and a hint of bacon. I was worried about how the combo of a lemon pepper aioli and bacon jam would complement each other, but everything sang. My husband's fish and chips were perfectly cooked with flakey, golden filets. The fries were nicely cooked and seasoned. Great tartar sauce, fry sauce and ranch dressing! Only downsides - there is no sound proofing. Two guest tables on either side of us had no desire to use their "inside voices". Not only was it annoying to listen to every detail of what they were talking about, but their voices reverberated, leaving my entire party to just nod at each other. I had hoped staff would have asked those groups to keep the volume down just a little bit. Since this is like a garage motif, the open ceilings help the echo. My friends were also put off by the garage rags being used instead of standard napkins. I didn't mind but it was a less soft alternative to the standard napkin fare. I loved the garage style; a dark, moody and rough-around-the-edges casual feel. I wouldn't mind trying other menu options.

This was a tasty and quick stop for lunch on our way through town. Easy to find off of the highway,…read morewith amazing views (outdoor seating also an option), and a fun venue inside. Set in an older garage building, the inside fashion is vintage circus paraphernalia, both big and small. The eyes can wander a bit. The food menu has good variety and items purchased were tasty. A full drink menu is available in addition to their own craft brews; non-alcoholic options: several flavors of craft soda. The service was pleasant and efficient--and a bonus -- the bathrooms were exceptionally clean. I would highly recommend and wouldn't mind coming back if we were ever in these parts again.
