It was a huge serving of chicken- two large breasts- cooked to perfection on a large waffle. Served with a sweet syrup and spicy sauce. The problem? More waffle please! Soo good. I would say the one way to blow this into the stratosphere: real maple syrup. I would've paid the extra for it. We arrived 20 mins before closing and asked if we were too late to order? "No! Come in. Yelp is insistent I comment on this account. It was our first experience with Waffle Love and it was just that. Waffle love. Was it breakfast? Was it Dessert? Maybe a little of both! The banana creame pie waffle was a big hit with me. Another tasty treat being the Sunshine; with lemon, raspberries, and house-made whipped cream. The decor is neat with bird mobiles and original wall art. The service isn't the friendliest but expedient. Excellent waffles! Just takes too long. I had the Breakfast Sammy. I was superb! The waffle itself was a perfect lightly crispy on the outside and light and fluffy inside. Great combination of flavors. I can't wait to try their other waffles. They have only a couple of waffle irons, if I remember right. I was there at around 9:30p so there wasn't much of a crowd, about 8 in front of me. It took about 15 - 20 minutes to get my order. Seems like if you are in the waffle business, you should have plenty of waffle irons. There were three employees there, with enough irons, you should be able to crank them out faster. The place has ample tables and you can move them around for a group. I wouldn't call it a cozy place, but it was sufficient. The workers are very friendly. There is a nice story on the wall on how they came to be. Because the food is really good, I'll return. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. A large very dead plant was in the corner as well as a few dishes with food on them that appeared to of sat there for a while. Walls by check out were dirty and in need of repairs and new paint. Almost a complete disappointment. Not sure if maybe one of the other locations might be better but I ordered the breakfast Sammy and a pressed apple juice. The breakfast Sammy was hard to eat and I ended up trying to add some syrup to it to jazz it up. It didn't help. The bacon was tough, waffle this weird flaky limp waffle of a thing and whatever their sauce is they adorn said waffle is...they should leave it off. We ordered a waffle called Dulce and another with Apple, my favorite was the Dulce! It comes with ice cream, strawberries, and dulce de leche! I want to go back soon! Got here at 1:30pm for lunch with my family and while everyone in the staff was busy in the back goofing off, they weren't too slow to take our order but almost all of the napkin dispensers had about 2-3 napkins in them, the ice machine was never turned on until we asked for ice, and half of fountain drinks were just soda water. Customer walked in and they were busy again in the back goofing off. Definitely not against having fun at work and enjoying coworkers.. But they don't care to have the place taken care of. read more

My preference would have been for a little more seasoning on the chicken. It just didn't seem like it had much of any on it. The crunch of the batter though made up for it and the chicken was Juicy. The special sauce was ok but just seemed to be like everyone else's special sauce. Then we get to the waffle! It was light and fluffy and had a touch of sweetness to it before adding any syrup.
