I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich, it took a while to come out but they were crazy busy at 8 pm on a Sunday night! The food was a bit expensive and you have to order each item individually, there's no combos here. When it came out the bun was fluffy and the chicken was tender, but cold to the touch. The fried pickles were also cold and left a lot to be desired. The staff was friendly, and the food took roughly 20 mins to get prepared for dine in. The atmosphere was vey busy and full of families. I was trying to get a cup of ranch and an employee took the ranch dispenser while I was standing there to refill it, despite it having 1/3 left in it and me standing there waiting to fill a cup, that was strange but I went without. I'll have to give this place a second go in the future when they are less busy, however I was disappointed.

Delish! Super Chix has something for everyone and a lot of sauce options as well. I got two hand breaded chicken tenders, fries, a vanilla custard, and a drink. The chicken was crispy, the seasoning on the fries was perfect, and the vanilla custard was the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. Service was quick and kind. The restaurant pops with the Super Chix yellow and is clean and well maintained. Would recommend!

Having learned about them from a friend in the Sandy area. I couldn't help but stop for late lunch and have their version of a fried chicken sandwich. If you've never been Super Chix is more of a fast casual restaurant with made to order sandwiches taken to your table (for in restaurant eating). I don't think they had drive thru but I wasn't paying close attention. They did have a lot of pick up orders. I ordered their limited special, billed as "Korean fried chicken" sandwich. I think they dipped the fried chicken into a kind of Korean style bbq sauce(because there was a lot of it on my sandwich. The sauce didn't remind me of any Korean sauce I've ever had previously but had a tanginess and umami flavor I'd expect from an Asian sauce. Also, it wasn't at all spicy which I would have expected from a true Korean sauce. Still the sandwich was all sorts of messy and tender (not over cooked or dry) goodness. There is a slaw inside the sandwich that gives it another texture which I liked. However the chicken itself wasn't crispy which one would expect considering the amount of sauce on the chicken. There is the option of having a version where the chicken is grilled but glad I chose the crispy version. The fries were awesome! Crispy and cheesy, they know what they are doing with fries! I also ordered a large peanut butter Reese custard ice cream cup (cold fusion) which reminded me of a DQ blizzard with elevated smoothness and consistency...a well done dessert and glad I didn't miss! I'm glad I listened to my friend and tried "Super Chix". Delicious chicken sandwich and over all very filling and satisfying meal.

So glad that Super Chix made their way to Sandy! We came here on a busy Friday night and these guys handled the rush like champs! For a new team they should be so proud of themselves. Everything was so good and fresh. We got a large fry and it was plenty (as you can see from the photo) but all so good. My chicken on my sandwich was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. And the shakes here are the bomb! I got a cookies and cream and it was amazing. Even with how busy they were they still had staff members coming around to check on us and take our tray. So nice and such great service! The restaraunt is a little loud- but they do have an outdoor patio available as well. We'll be back!

I stopped by Super Chic before work for lunch. The vibe inside was nice and calm. It is a counter service. The girl working the register was really kind and helpful with my questions. I got the Bacavo Ranch with a side of fries. I also got a fountain drink even tho they are a Pepsi establishment. They have a sauce bar with a lot of different options!! The sandwich and fries were both delicious. The girl who had been at the register checked in with me to make sure everything was good which I thought was above and beyond since its counter service. I would give them a 5/5 but it was $20 (pre tip) for a sandwich, fries, and drink, and while I do find the quality of the food to be good, I do think it's a little pricey for what it is. I would highly recommend trying Super Chix, but just be prepared to pay a little more than you might think.

This is a cute chicken and custard shop, with bright yellow exposed piping and modern seating options. Everyone in store was patient with us as we ordered and the food came pretty quick. They make some of their sauces in house and have a wide variety of options. They also have seasonal custards and you can buy to-go containers of custard by the checkout counter. We got two chicken sliders, the bacavo ranch sandwhich, rosemary pepper fries, and a Reeses PB cup shake to share. The fries were amazing! I'd highly recommend them, as the flavors blended well together and were not overpowering. The sandwich and sliders were exactly what you'd expect, and the shake had huge chunks of Reeses Cups inside which was lovely. The only downside is the fries have to be ordered separate and one slider by itself is probably not going to fill you up but there's not a deal to double up. Overall, solid dinner stop.

Super Chix is basically Chick-fil-a with custard. I've only patronized this one Super Chix location so keep that in mind but Chick-Fil-A across the country has markedly better customer service. Restaurant was clean and comfortable, food was fine. The cashier was baffled (and acted slightly put out) when I elected to pay cash for my one scoop of custard (less than $5) after we had already eaten and wanted custard as an afterthought. It's decent fast food and I'd return but if there was a choice between Chick-Fil-A and Super Chix I'd choose CFA.

Ordered 2-pc fried chicken tenders which were tender. Fries are extra thin, but good. Tried a scoop of chocolate and vanilla custard that was creamy and rich. Their menu is mostly chicken tenders or on a sandwich. Clean modern restaurant. Great lunch place. Will be back.

I'm SO happy they started having grilled chicken! We used to love the smash chicken at another place but it was discontinued and we hadn't found a good replacement until now. The patties were well-seasoned, moist and delicious! The veggies were fresh and tasty too. Hubs says the cordon Bleu was messy but SOOO worth it. The fries were great tasting as well. You have a choice of toppings and we just got the base salt. Not too salty or greasy, just right. We were big fans of Super Chix in Texas but found the one down south not quite up to snuff. This location is awesome! All the things we loved about the original. Will definitely be back!

    Only a few dippable fries..
    James J.

Chicken had no breading which made it super greasy. Fries only had a few long ones that you could dip.. it's like no one even looked at the tray before bringing it out.

    The 'Simple'

Decided to try this place and was underwhelmed. First, the price point is higher than pretty much any other place selling chicken, except Pretty Bird. $9.11 with tax for the Simple. If you want fries and a drink, there are no combos. You have to buy them separate and they both cost as much as the sandwich, $5 and $3 respectively. So, I opted for just the sandwich. No mayo, just chicken and pickles. It started out almost pleasant enough, but as I got to the middle it flattened out to almost nothing (see pic). Then I realized it was overcooked and rubbery. For the price I expected the same or better than competitors, but it was just ok. Nothing to get excited about. I also noticed that they have way more employees than I think are necessary. I also noticed a film on my tongue after eating that must be from the oil that they use to fry with. Unpleasant. I will not be back.

    Super good....

Whether…read moreyou are into candy, fudge, soda, caramel apples, cotton candy or ice cream-this place has it. The selection is rather impressive. Candy takes most of us back to our childhood, so it's appropriate that the theme here is "retro." Along with candy from yesteryear, there are cool vintage looking signs and knick knacks for collectors. There are also tons of glass bottles of soda-the kind that you probably grew up drinking, or wish you had. Leatherby's ice cream (arguably the best out there) is served here as well. Want chocolate? Yup, plenty of decadent chocolates as well as a mouth-watering assortment of caramel apples. Really, there's something for everyone. If you don't find something here that you like, I would really question your level of contentment in life. I docked a star for a couple things. First, the location is tricky to get to. There's no direct access from the road, you have to maneuver around the building and enter from the side opposite the main road. It appears that another entrance is planned, but a temporary concrete barrier prevents it from being used until it's fully developed. So that's a challenge-one that will be resolved as the area grows and fills in. The other challenge was the customer service. There were two young ladies working there and neither of them greeting us when we entered. (It's a small enough space, and we were the only customers. It just felt awkward to walk in and start browsing while she just watched us.) When we checked out, I attempted friendly small talk and it fell flat. She wasn't rude, just not the friendly personality I'd hope to find in a local, small business. Otherwise, it's a great place and I'm sure my sweet tooth will guide me back again!

Now that I have your attention and I've given you an ear worm, I'll share a story. My friends and I spent a Saturday on ísbíltúr, which is an Icelandic tradition of taking an ice cream road trip. We hit five different places around the Salt Lake valley and lived to tell about it; with only a slight stomachache. This one is a drive through with a small walk-up window and seating outside. It happened to be our last stop on our journey and was the perfect ending to our adventure! We ordered our cones at the window and then sat on the patio in the warm evening air, enjoying our final treats of the day. The patio is situated between two drive through lines, so the setting is a little unusual, but still good vibes. Blue Moo offers Blue Bell ice cream (IYKYK) and is generous in their portion sizes. There's a lovely blue cow photo op adjacent to the drive thru (logistics can be a little tricky if there are cars queuing up).

I was so impressed when a bagful of ice cream was dropped off at my door within less than an hour! We enjoyed the following: Rocky Road features a mild chocolate base and small bits of nuts, but I never found even ONE teeny marshmallow in the whole quart (I just looked up the description to make sure I wasn't mistaken and it definitely mentions those squishy white delights!). Fresh Peach Gelato boasts local peaches from Kuwahara. Tangy, but just-sweet enough. Not quite as creamy as others, but that is par for the course with most fruit based ice creams. Oreo has mostly fine Oreo pieces, but a lot. If you had asked me, I'd have guessed my preference would be larger chunks, but I'd be wrong. This is delightful! New York Wildberry Cheesecake gelato has a great, natural cheesecake flavor. The swirls of berry are rather sweet, but tempered by the tangy base. Chocolate Dipped Strawberry was a surprising household favorite with it's uber creamy pretty-pink base and stracciatella style dark chocolate. They offer a variety of flavors, with some seasonal. All gelatos were a bit harder than ice creams, which is no surprise given they have less cream/fat in them. I am sure if left at room temperature for five or ten minutes (as you are supposed to do for all frozen treats), they would be perfect consistency, but I never have the restraint to wait that long. We bought everything in pint ($5.50) or quart size ($7.50), but you know those long rectangular containers seen at gelateria's? YOU CAN BUY A WHOLE ONE FROM BON BON ($30)! Can you imagine how perfect that would be for a party? There is a $30 minimum, which is extraordinarily easy to meet, and a $5 delivery charge.
