    Chipotle fry sauce lol

Cubby's is a decent choice for fast vegetarian food near where I was recently staying while visiting in the area. The concept is cute, too. A meat eater and vegatarian married and wanted to open an eatery with things both of them were interested in eating. I chose a cup of tomato basil soup with coconut shavings and a loaded grilled cheese for an early lunch one day during my trip. The coconut shavings on the soup was a little weird but I thought it tasted good regardless. I thought the grilled cheese was delicious and had fresh veggies sliced up inside, crisp and tasty. They were not soggy, even with the melted cheese. Don't ask me how. When they get too soggy, me no likee. Service here is quick, but I kind of see what people mean in their reviews about it being lackluster. It gets the job done at least. There are tables and booths in the dining area, and you'll need to look at the menu on the walls as you wait in line before you go up to order. At the soda fountain they had Barq's red cream soda, which I had never seen before. I don't typically drink full sugar sodas because they're too syrupy, but I wanted to try this weird new to me flavor, and I'm glad I did. It was kinda like strawberries and cream? But maybe I was imagining the strawberries because it was red in color? I dunno. Cool that they had it. I still don't understand fry sauce, but their chipotle version was tasty. I would come to Cubby's again if I was craving more fast casual setting, veggie friendly options in the area. They have a handful of vegan choices too. It seemed to mostly just be quinoa and salad, so if you're vegan and looking for something more hearty, Cubby's might not do it based on what they have available at the time For example, black bean burgers and avocado toast were "out" when I was there, even though they were on the menu. Vegetarians will be in luck with actual choice though.

I've been to cubby's countless times and I've always left happy. Each of the menu options are quality and fresh. The drive thru option is great for a quick lunch/dinner meal.

Food is always on point! Quick service and healthier ingredients. We stop here every time we are in Utah. Our kids love coloring the cute hats while they wait for their food.

Came here for lunch and I have yo say it was amazing. I got the tacos and they were mouthwateringly delicious. I also had their huckleberry shake. And wow. I've never tasted anything like it. But it was so good. I had to get another one on the way out. If you need a nice fresh place to eat. This is a must stop.

    Tri-tip steak sandwich El Caliente

I approached Cubby's since the building looked nice and it said locally grown organic food. Walking in seemed like a nice clean atmosphere in an almost chipotle type line set up. The staff wasn't unfriendly but would have been nice to see a smile and the music was a tad to loud. Now for the part where I tell you why this is by far the best food and sandwich I've been eaten-and I love sandwiches and have eaten many many of them. I ordered the tri steak elcaliente sandwich. Amazing perfectly toasted bread, perfectly holding tender tasty steak topped with a sweet yet spicy sauce which complimented the tiny light green home grown jalepenos on top, it was picture perfect, but the flavor and the freshness of the sandwich is what will leave you floored. I often see in movies and even shows where the music comes on and it's almost a love scene between the guy and the food, this was that moment. If you haven't tried Cubby's, you haven't eaten yet.

    Clean inside. Very bright.

Staff was super helpful and took our order promptly. Menu didn't really have a lot on it compared to other restaurants in the area. This may be there thing. My gypsy burger was delicious. The bun was amazing and the vegetables fresh. The food was fairly expensive for what you are getting. Salad, burger and fries, etc. for 3 peeps we were right at 60$, kid you not. While I love fresh food that is healthy, there has to be a balance between price and value. This might only be a once in a while type of stop in due to the cost. Great food, but not even a date night/fancy place vibe so the cost seemed not in align for the restaurant type. I think it's worth a stop in, and I encourage you to decide for yourself. Seems like a family business, but I wasn't able to confirm. The place was clean and very well lit. Thanks for a new place to try in the Sandy area!

Great casual joint for dinner with a simple menu of salads, sandwiches, breakfast and great sauces for fries. Great seating inside and out.

$12 just for this burger with a gluten free bun. Where's the blue cheese.. oh it's mixed in w/the meat. Maybe a teaspoon full, if that

Where's the beef??? Over priced for a party smaller then my small hand, the tomato was thicker then the burger. $40 for a salad, 1 burger and fries. Are you kidding me. The table was disgusting, we had to clean it ourselves. So disappointing. I can't believe they claim this is fresh meat... the fries are worse then McDonalds, and that's not saying much. We ordered the "rosemary" fries. Couldn't even taste the seasoning. Honestly, I'd never go back and when someone wants a burger recommendation, I'd tell them to go to Wendy's. And I won't even eat at Wendy's. The owners really need to be ashamed for what they are actually selling. I mean... the bun was about all I could taste.

Cubby's is famous for their hamburgers and salads. The food is high-quality, fresh and reasonably priced. Be sure to check out the tri tip steak sandwich, it is an incredible combination of flavors. It has bacon, tri-tip steak and the perfect amount of barbecue sauce. They have different barbecue sauces to choose from I think the spicy is the best. You can't go wrong with Cubby's.

Not sure why this place has 3 stars other than the cost. This place is consistently good, and has healthier ingredients.

We both acknowledged that the dishes were different than we had experienced in other restaurants in the past. Not bad, just different....unexpected. My Pad Thai had almost a tomato/sweet flavor to it. I'm not sure it's going to be my new favorite, but it was pleasant enough. I'd likely return, but I might try a different dish-maybe something new to me so I don't have a preconceived notion of what it "should" be like.

We had the lettuce wraps, banh mi sandwich (bread was not as soft as I'd expected, but had more crunch). The burger was actually good and flavorful! Not a single open table. PACKED. And honestly... now I get it. I'll be real--I went in a little unsure. Most of the reviews are a few years old, and while there are photos posted by the owner, they don't say what anything is (which made ordering a bit of a guessing game). A few things I asked about were actually old specials... which was a little disappointing. BUT--this is where it turned. Our server went out of his way to ask the kitchen if they could recreate a taco salad I saw in one of the photos... and they said yes. Immediate gold star. And when the food came out?? Massive. Like... borderline shocking portions. My taco salad was on a giant Navajo taco base and LOADED--cheesesteak-style meat, fajita onions, peppers, lettuce, tomato, avocado, chipotle dressing, salsa... every bite was so good. And somehow it all stayed in place (which if you've ever fought a falling-apart taco salad, you know matters ). My husband got the fish and chips and I'm usually not a fish and chips girl--but this?? I'd order it myself next time. Flaky, moist fish with the crispiest, lightest batter. So, so good. We finished with cheesecake (raspberry key lime + blueberry sour cream). They were good and fresh, but not quite as wow as the entrees--just wished they were a little creamier and the key lime had more tang. But overall? We walked in unsure... and left already planning what we'd order next time. Safe to say: totally unexpected, totally impressed, and 100% coming back.
