Huge. This "small" 8" is huge. Packed with lots of meat. The employees were friendly and helpful. The restaurant is comfortable. Pretty good sandwich. I had the American Wagyu Cheesesteak. It was pretty good. The bun was fresh. I think not as delicious as Moochie's, but it could be because it was American Wagyu. Just didn't enjoy the flavor as much as i did with Moochie's. Very worthy to spend your buck, though. Other offerings on the menu sounds great. Wow. This new Creamery has really upgraded the experience. Same great ice cream, but more workers mean the lines move faster. Same grill. Same grocery except it is larger and more a legit complete grocery store. Some departments are smaller than a regular grocery store, like the produce section, but still offers plenty. The outdoor patio seating is great. Heating lamps for cold days and they have misters installed for the hot days. Nice lights for evenings and nights. Parking is still a big challenge. More parking, but it is very narrow between the rows. I didn't park my truck there because of it. But parking is accessible at the Music School across the street for a very easy walk. At this visit I had the raspberry cream cheese--it was really good! And of course, I had to buy two bottles of Cookies and Cream milk to take home. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Avoid this location if you are picking up orders. On 08/12/2026 at around 3:45 PM, I waited over 10 minutes for a DoorDash pickup in a completely empty dining room. When I tried to ask a basic status update to see if the order was nearly finished, an older female employee cut me off mid-sentence and responded with immediate hostility and sarcasm instead of answering the question. Rather than deal with the unprofessional attitude, I unassigned the order and left. I wish I could say otherwise, but if this is acceptable behavior it's a terribly managed location with zero respect for delivery drivers or basic customer service. read more

I get takeout from Capriotti's frequently, especially when I am pregnant. (There just aren't many good hot sandwich places in Murray!) I have never dined in, so I can't comment on that aspect. But for everything else... The sandwiches are so tasty! I especially love the Hot Bobbie. The turkey is actual turkey pieces, not just deli turkey, and the cranberry sauce and the stuffing are so good. I also tried the new BLT cheesesteak today, and it's to die for! The contrasting flavors and textures are incredible. I have never had a problem when ordering, and the service is usually quick. We got sandwiches again today. An Italian meats sandwich and The Bobbie. The Bobbie is supposed to remind one of a post Thanksgiving turkey sandwich complete with stuffing and a cranberry spread. They laid turkey chunks across the bottom of the bread then laid 1-1/2 to 2 cups of cranberry sauce on the turkey, (LITTERALLY) then they took stuffing, shaped it into a log and pressed that on the sauce smashing the turkey into the bread. The turkey had no flavor, like salt? No smoked flavor. It was disappointing; especially when I walked out I noticed East Coast Subs across the way as I walked out with lunch for me and my friend. My son and I played a game-we turned down State Street and said that we'd stop at the fifth restaurant that we saw-no matter what it was. We were up for adventure and let fate choose our dinner. We were greeted by two friendly staff members who were cheerful and happy to help. Since we were in an adventurous mood, I opted for the Bobbie-a sandwich with turkey, cranberries, dressing and mayo. I also got the sides of mashed potatoes and gravy to go with it. My son chose the less exciting meatball sub. Now, if I was rating on service and cleanliness alone, these guys would be at five stars. But both the sandwiches were really bad. The meatball sub was lukewarm and very bland-I tried it after only being able to stomach a few bites of my Thanksgiving dinner sub. It wasn't just the strange combination and unpleasant taste, but the large gob of cartilage (not fat-this was hard and chewy) that I bit into. The service here was not the best. It was like pulling out a tooth for them to make a cold sandwich heated. First they kept telling me they couldn't heat the sandwich and after questioning them multiple times some other coworker came up and was able to do it for us. I've tried so hard with this location. I absolutely love both their Grilled Italian and Classic Italian when they are made correctly and with my optional requests. Nothing not on the online ordering options menu mind you, just picking from the options they give me. I don't want to exaggerate, but the failure rate for them to make my food close to the way I order it is just too high for me at this point. Okay story time. Probably well over a year ago if not close to two years ago I ordered through a third party delivery service. It was a snowy day and my order never got here. This Murray location is a franchise but if you use the "contact us" feature on the web page you used to order from the Murray store what you're actually doing is placing a ticket with corporate. Jessica from corporate will contact you and give you homework to provide additional info even if, and I did, provide all the requested info in the original email with her and on the ticket. A few days later she will tell you that oh yeah, that's not our problem, that is a franchise, I have forwarded this info to the local manager and they will contact you. Local manager never contacted me, not this time or the two other times I had an issue with an order. Story number two... Once I ordered my regular order, a Grilled Italian with hot peppers and red wine. What I got was a sandwich with just one type of meat, ham, no veggies at all except black olives, which I didn't ask for. I used the "contact us" link and my experience from there was the same as the first time. Story number three, the final straw. I placed an online order. When my wife and I get to the location there is a Sysco truck parked in front of their parking spots and the door is propped open. We go inside and it's dark. There are no signs of life. eventually the Sysco delivery person comes in and asks if we're customers. He then directs us to a sharpie-written sign on the door that says they had some issues and had to shut down for the day. Huh, ok. We walk across the parking lot to the East Coast Subs and get some sandwiches from there. As we head back to our car I see a Caprioti's employee talking to the Sysco guy. I go to the store and there are two kids who just got there and who don't know what's going on. One of them takes my info and says someone will contact me the next day. Next day no one contacts me. Day after I use the only way I can reliably communicate with them which is the "contact us" link. I put in a ticket full with my order number, store location, order info, etc.. Jessica contacts me and asks me to give her the order number and store location so that she can help me. I give it to her a second time and her response... "Oh, that's a franchise location, you'll need to contact the store manager. I've sent them this info and they will contact you. Here's a coupon for less than half the value of your order." Anyway, the local manager doesn't follow up on any of this and corporate just washes their hands of it. I've never had so many bad experiences with anywhere else. I haven't even mentioned my salad with no salad dressing or just basic not giving me the hot peppers or other toppings I ask for on something close to half my orders. I really do love their sandwich when done right. Approx. 50% success rate and horrible customer service after the fact just aren't going to cut it. I think this is my second 1-star in more than 100 reviews. I'm done with this place. read more

On mine, "The Bobbie" (I got a medium), there's stuffing and cranberry sauce. And, of course, they have toasted alternatives and plenty of options for the no-frills-I-just-want-a-sandwich-I-can-get-anywhere crowd. I got quick, friendly, service from Jerime P., and it's a much nicer place to sit down and enjoy your sandwich than, say, a Subway, Jimmy John's, Firehouse, or Jersey Mike's. I really enjoyed the sandwich. However, I would have loved a sweeter, tarter, maybe more "homemade"-tasting cranberry sauce.
