I've been here a few times and this place does not disappoint. Before I review the food, I have to talk about the incredible service. The owner, Korbyn, was working the front, taking orders, ringing up customers, wiping down tables, checking on customers dining in, and that level of attention and care was evident with the entire staff. Now on to the food. These sandwiches are so good. We know the bread makes the sandwich and their bread is perfect for a good sando. I got the Italian cold cut combo with everything and omg. The giardiniera they top on the sandwiches really round it out. Add a side of fries that come with fry sauce and that's a damn good meal. We came in the last hour of this spot being open, and it was wildly busy. They made our food pretty quickly though they were sold out of onion rings. Seating is pretty limited in this small space, but we still got a table. I thought my sandwich was fine, not great. My husband did not enjoy his at all. We also got fries, which were just OK. My husband and I got the steak+ everything, the turkey and bacon, and fries/onion rings. Every single bite was delicious. The steak sub was slightly spiced, rich, well seasoned, and with some specs of crunch given the onion and pickles. Divine sandwich. The bacon was spectacular and the bread was soft. I ordered from this place on DoorDash Scones with Honey Butter are fantastic and a decent size, order more than you think you want because theyre addicting. Philly Cheese Steak is by FAR the best one ive had in all of Utah, just make sure to get it "off the grill" if you dont want lettuce, mayo, pickles and tomatoes. French Fries with Fry Sauce are nice and crispy, and the serving size is really good especially for the price. The fry sauce is great too. Been going to the one up in Sandy for years love this place really good sandwiches and great service

Took this recommendation from a SLC Uber driver. Located in a strip mall, first thing I noticed was there wasn't much seating. There were 2 picnic style tables out front and that was convenient enough. The staff was overly friendly or outgoing, but that's not always an issue. Although the food wasn't awful, it wasn't the Philly cheesesteak the Uber driver had swore it was lol regardless, it wasn't a bad sub. It was hot and tasty and slightly higher priced than what I expected, considering the portions weren't overly large or anything. It was probably like a high end "Subway" sandwich. Won't be going out of my way to have it again. But it wasn't horrible either. There's just too many better options in SLC to choose from for me. 6.4/10 read more

Being in the area I found this spot for takout subs for skiing quick food. I like tuna sub with the works the most. The service was excellent , they were ready to combine to type of sandwich typesfrom the menu on two halves of the 10 inch sub. They were nice enough to wrap each half sub separately with plastic wraps. Waitingbwas less than 5min. I wish they would open earlier than 10am. Yes I just wanted to thank you for that wonderful lunch I had today and I didn't even need an ambulance ride out of there which is three times in a row yeah. And of course all those other rides to the hospital they weren't totally your fault you know I'm getting up there in age and sometimes arsenic just don't go good with my body . And you know that extra $1,131 and 10 cents that I had to spend on my last ambulance ride to go six blocks it saved me all of that this time I think I might get you guys something nice for your anniversary that's coming up. Yes being able to drive myself home after I go somewhere it's really what I intended the car for when I purchased it I didn't figure in the extra costs of going to East Coast Subs . I finally got smart because every time I went to the ambulance a neighbor had to go retrieve my car and of course they don't work for free you know they had to have $29 each time so where I was using that about six times a year I bought AAA insurance policy on each one of my vehicles just so I would have enough to get through the year to get my get them to go get my car and bring it home when I get out of the hospital it's there it is so handy like that I think everybody that eats there should invest in one of them . And use my name at AAA and you'll get a discount . The real reason I left this message was to let that name with the weighted on me know that he forgot my drink I mean I ordered a large ice water it's not like it costs anything and you still make money on it or you would have if one of my three cards would have went through today that is really embarrassing and then you're obligated because I'm disabled to just give me my dang lunch and I was thinking I should come back and pay for it tomorrow but then about 10 years ago you guys told me on my birthday which is also your wedding day because you liked me so much you figured if you got me a birthday cake and served at your wedding I would have to be there . But you told me years ago vent we want you to come by and enjoy any sandwich combo meal you want and are establishment on September 12th and so I did two years in a row and now I've noticed for the last 6 years that you guys call and remind me to come by a week ahead of time and then you close the shop down and go on vacation for your anniversary . It really just sickens me the thought of me eating your restaurant after you do something like that to me but I just love them club sandwiches so I do and yes I pay extra because I like everything on it . You know I told that nitwit that forgot my drink I'd come back tomorrow and pay for my meal but I'm not going to what have you guys really ever done for me other than feed me once in awhile since 1980 . This was my first time trying food from here and I was honestly disappointed for a few reasons. I will first give my three positives which were the sides (fries & onion rings) were actually great. Secondly the prices were awesome. Lastly the service was good. However this is also partially where the negatives come in: the prices are likely so good as the cheesesteaks I got were VERY small in portion compared to competitors and I didn't find much about them special or so tasty that the size wasn't a factor if that makes sense. I also really didn't like that fact that you couldn't go inside to order or get your meal. It's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. I'm no expert on food but when I typically see menu items that say 'you asked for it, and we listened' after having 4 odd variations of the same sandwiches the quality of the food tends to go down. I have been going to East Coast Subs since I was kid and it was Grinders 13 across from Hillcrest High. Ray and many employees have never had bad service. Never have seen anyone act up or Ray get angry. The food has ALWAYS been nothing by delicious and very consistent over the years. I always get the Philly with light peppers and extra cheese. It is amazing. Some commented on the amount of meat. This is a sandwich you can pick up and eat. You don't need a knife and fork like other places. This is the only place still around from my childhood and I go out of my way grab a Philly and fries when I can. read more
