Came in Saturday night with my fiancé to check out the new spot. I was blown away by the service we received from our bartender Jay. she was wonderfu! she was fast, friendly, and very knowledgeable on the drinks and food, she recommended the whipped ricotta as an appetizer and it was absolutely delicious, I her recommendation on the lasagna and it was the best in town. I will definitely be back because of her and I will let all my friends know to check out this new hot spot! read more

Got a whole pepperoni pie between three people. First time I went the pizza was very good, great crust and under carriage, hard to find in AZ. Most pizza is just very cheesy and saucy bread, this is very balanced. This is about as close to I have gotten to what I think is a NY slice (never been to NY). Second time, wasn't the same result, came out a bit soggy and not crispy, but might have just been an off day. Great first experience though! read more

Crust Pizzeria - Pepperoni pizza - Pizza Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Really, really, really disappointing. We live in walking distance and wem excited to finally try it. Service was non existent. Never again.

Big disappointment - really scrimped on the pizza toppings nothing really there. ordered from here for the first time on Friday night. The service and pick up went great. The order was ready on time, they were friendly. We ordered the pizza and the chicken wings. The chicken wings were fine, nothing special, BUT the pizza was really bland. We ordered a half-and-half, and there were barely any toppings on either side really no taste at all. won't go back. read more

Updating my review.... After being asked to return, I did so with my family and had a much more pleasant experience. Our food and service was on par. I appreciated the willingness/ambition of staff to ensure the football game was on, as it was a big reason for coming in at that time. The place was clean. I love the location and the open concept. I would recommend! read more

Reece was an amazing server, always have a great time and the food was bomb. Would def recommend stopping by if you're ever in the area :))

Food and service (Reece) were excellent and was a welcome treat for happy hour! The Rustica sausage was a winner!

Can't believe we didn't know about this place! My husband is from New York and always complains about the pizza here in Arizona but was very happy with the pizza we got from here. Also got meatballs which were very good. Will definitely be our new spot. read more

Tried the pizza and wing special recommend to us by our server Leyla who was really helpful. The wings were super crispy and the crust sauce was tasty. The pizza is also great and my boys loved it. Ended the meal with a huge cookie which I highly recommend. Will definitely be bringing my family back here. read more

Service was great, food was amazing, prices are spectacular and the owner Daniel couldn't be more friendly. Homemade everything, and they have gluten free pies! read more

The food was amazing, definitely some of the best pizza I have had in a while. The workers were all very friendly and my server Leyla was especially accommodating. Definitely will be returning to try the pasta next. read more

Please please do not say REAL NEW YORK PIZZA...Unless yall from NYC! Born and raised from there and no where in AZ can come close to NY PIZZA. Ordered a pizza Sunday after valentines day. The pizza dough was premade first bad mistake, it was a heart shape and the center was under cooked and edges over cooked! It may not be my cup of tea, but in a NEW YORKERS OPINION ITS AN INSULT TO US NEW YORKERS! Staff needs more attention to detail when making a pie, some language barrier was present there is room for improvement but nothing like NY! Truth read more

I've been here twice and had a great experience both times. Tastiness: delicious Service: quick and attentive Cleanliness: very clean Vibe: chill Overall: Another great experience. Definitely will come back. read more

Crust Pizzeria - Toasted Italiano Hero. - Pizza Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Run unless u like mall pizza, which in this case may be better. We had low expectations and were just in a pinch for pizza, I was surprised it went lower. U know the taste in your mouth when u have baad italian, the cheap over salted garlic taste, well Ive had that taste for a bit. Server very nice and the crust was decent, everything else, salad pizza and salad dressing were not good. Sorrrry! Prob shud have known as 4 peeps in there on a Fri night. Yikes. Live and learn. If the price matched up w the mall pizza, maybe i would not have posted but just go down the street a few blocks, or to Jets pizza across the street and u will be happier! read more

**Best Pizza HANDS DOWN!** BEST DEAL IN PHOENIX: $25 for a 20" NY Pizza & NY Wings!! If you haven't tried this pizza yet, do yourself a favor and get there ASAP--because it's *next level* incredible. From the first bite, you'll know you've found the holy grail of pizza. The sauce? Rich, hearty, and undeniably authentic, with that perfect tang and depth of flavor that only comes from real Italian craftsmanship. It's like they've captured the essence of Italy in every spoonful. The crust is nothing short of perfection: a crispy, golden exterior with just the right amount of chewiness in the center. It's the perfect balance--crispy enough to give you that satisfying crunch, but chewy enough to give you that melt-in-your-mouth texture. Honestly, it's the kind of crust that has you reaching for that second slice before you even realize it. Every ingredient sings its own note--quality cheese that's ooey-gooey, fresh toppings that are bursting with flavor, and just the right amount of seasoning to bring it all together. Whether you're a classic Margherita fan or you love a fully loaded pie, they absolutely nail it every time. It's the kind of pizza that makes you want to shout from the rooftops about how good it is. The ambiance is relaxed, inviting, and full of energy! To put it simply: I've tried pizza all over the world, but this one? This is the *real deal*. If you want an authentic, mouthwatering experience that'll have you coming back for more--this is *the one*. END. OF. STORY. read more

Tried Crust Pizzeria for the first time! Not impressed, unfortunately :( Even though the place wasn't busy inside, my online order was messed up. 1. Wings weren't ready when I got there but the pizza was so it got cold waiting for the wings to be ready. 2. Ordered ranch, but they gave us blue cheese (huge ranch head here!) so that was a bummer. With the big dogs so nearby (Doughbirds, Lou Malnati's, Stumpy's) we probably won't be coming back. read more

I'm always coming down 16th St. I don't know how I missed this place! I was craving pizza so much and I wanted to try something new. I went on Google and I saw this place had great reviews. Well, it did not disappoint me! To start off, I was greeted by a very sweet employee manager, Caroline. I could tell immediately she had a great vibe. I really like the look of the place and I love that. It has the garage door that opens up. It was nice weather today. I sat indoors but had a beautiful comfortable breeze. I started off with the house. Margarita on the rocks, it was delicious refreshing, and then I ordered a pint of peroni , very refresh and hit the spot. I love the pizza. It did not disappoint me at all. I started off with zucchini, which kindly Caroline, treated me too. They were delicious! And I was so happy with the pizza. It was kind of a flatbread style, which was perfect and I love that some of the edges were crispy. I'm looking forward to going back again. I'm definitely gonna try their happy hour. Again, a shout out to Caroline you are such a sweetheart. Enjoyed talking with you. read more

Mediocre at best. Cheese is bland, sauce could use a little more bite. Pepperoni had no heat. The crust was ok though. Did not save leftovers for reheat. read more

Service is slow and inattentive...on the smart phones a lot. Pizza is great but they are really stingy with the toppings, especially cheese. A 20" pizza has like maybe 8 slices of pepperoni. A pizza that big needs more. Floaties in my beer. read more

Crust Pizza is a great family spot to eat...the pizza and wings are very good. Good verity of wing sauce to choose from. I'm picky about my pizza sauce, their sauce is awesome. I'm not sure how long this place has been here for but it is definitely a pizza joint to consider for your next pizza night. The waiter/bar man who greeted us treated us really well for our whole dining experience. He was personable, efficient and knew the menu. He also suggested the Huss light lager for us as it is made for the restaurant. We ordered garlic knots followed by Sun Devil wings which were delightfully spicy. We then had the rustica Brooklyn Burrata on a cauliflower crust and the Central Park Supreme. Both pizzas had good flavor and the 20 inch pizzas are studly (or very filling). Parking should be relatively easy except on Friday and Saturday nights. Their delivery special on Monday nights is a good deal if you like plain cheese pizza or a one-extra-topping pizza. The restaurant has a small patio , a full bar, high top tables and regular tables. You will be able to see a TV from every table. This is a solid addition to the 16th street dining corridor. read more

Fast, friendly service and very reasonable prices. Thank you Caroline for being so welcoming!

Food and service was the best!! Caroline was super welcoming and the sweetest when taking care of us!

phenomenal food and service! We had pizza, sandwiches, wings, salads, and garlic balls. Garlic balls are delish! read more

This pizza place is right next to my daughters dance studio and thus has a build in customer base... so why is it always empty? I have a few thoughts after dining there twice. First, the service. The first time the service was great. We went again a week or so ago and the young man who both sat and waited on us in the otherwise empty restaurant just seemed mad we were keeping him from his busy tiktok watching. He mostly communicated in grunts and avoided eye contact, turning his back when walking by the table. Food is ok, garlic knots are good, salad is good and a decent size, pizza ok, something is missing... maybe flavor? I added garlic from the garlic knots that helped. So improvements... Perhaps have a kids menu to draw in the built in clientele from the dance studio and toy store in the plaza. Also switch to ordering at the counter, as you will have to go there anyway since the waitstaff is too busy watching the game playing above the empty bar. read more

Best pizza in Central Phoenix! Fabulous salads, too! Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Excellent lunch specials.

brought home a few slices from here the other night, about 30 min prior to close. So I definitely understood and anticipated limited selection I'd be able to order. Luckily, they did have both slices of the Sicilian and the regular pie left. Brought home slice of each. I was disappointed though, because as explained to me by the cashier working that night, their slices are plain and the customer would customize and order toppings separately (at a cost). I wish they have different pre-set or pre-defined pizzas like most other places for those who want to enjoy a well concocted specialty pie. Also, by the time I got home (drove home immediately after the slices came out), which I only live 4 minutes driving distance, the slices were already floppy and lost any remanence of a crunch. As David Portnoy would say, the under carriage is sub-par. Overall, nothing special, wouldn't come back here again unless I it was a pizza emergency, xD. read more

Crust Pizzeria - Their Burrata Pie. It was very satisfying. Just wish their pizza had more of an undercarriage as Dave Portnoy phrases it. Floppy base... - Pizza Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

The server was nice and patient. The zucchini was hot and fresh. The wings with buffalo dates were spot on. We got the angry bird Pizza. The crust was nice and thin and crunchy. The toppings were perfect. I dipped the pizza and some of the buffalo sauce, it was amazing. The passionfruit iced tea is nice and crisp and taste very good. This was our first time will be coming back. read more

Every time we're here the manager Caroline remembers I love the piano and asks how are the lessons. It's people and service like this that makes a local eatery like being at home with family. I will go out of my way to eat pizza just because of this attention. Plus the food is great. Kudos Caroline. read more

Nothing special. Service was lackluster and half-hearted (tall skinny unkept guy with light floppy hair). Definitely should not be a server. Maybe a cashier or something. Pizza (traditional style) was floppy and soupy. No crisp or flavor in the dough. Most importantly it was bland, even though you could tell the ingredients were high quality. Also, a place like this should offer fresh Parmesan instead of the cellulose-laden shaker jars. Overall there's no reason to go back. Forgettable. 3 stars is generous, but it's Christmas... read more

The food, service and ambience are amazing here. I highly recommend the Stromboli with extra mozzarella cheese. So yummy! On a sad note, though, I recently learned one of my favorite staff members, Jaro, was let go over a yelp post from a person who doesn't even exist. I come to Crust weekly because my sister owns the dance studio next door and our daughter does in fact dance there. My sister verified Julia P., the person who left a negative review costing my favorite staff member his job, does not exist and it was a troll review. My recommendation to the owner, please do your homework first before letting go of good employees because they're hard to come by these days. read more

This is my second time coming in and the second time I had the pleasure of being served by Caroline during my visit, and I cannot say enough good things about her! From the moment we sat down, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, ensuring our drinks were always full and our table was spotless. Wow! Super impressed. We drop in around 8 on a Thursday and we're immediately greeted with smiles and hellos. There were 3 of us and we sat at the bar. We ordered the meatballs, burrata and garlic knots to start. Delicious. All outstanding. We shared a pizza. The portions are generous and fairly priced. The pizzas are huge! These are not individual pizzas. Overall, extremely impressed and went in with low expectations, given artichoke's short lived run. Crust was a great surprise and addition to the neighborhood. Things to note: they have the NFL package and Thursday night football. They are working on a brunch menu and the GM is great and you can tell enjoys his job. read more
