This place is a gem. I passed it driving and came back a few days later to try it out for a later breakfast. I ordered the small dirty chai which was served hot in a large mug ($4). It tasted just the way I wanted it to- flavorful and sweet, but not too sweet. To eat I ordered the avocado and egg bagel with rosemary aioli ($6.25). The bagel had a perfect consistency and the flavor of the aioli really paired well with the sandwich. My experience thus far was so good that I wanted to try one of their crostinis, so I got the Turkey and brie crostini ($4). The crostini was about the size of my hand and did not leave me wanting. They are generous with their portions here and I felt I got a good deal from my dollar given I order a similar coffee and sandwich at a nearby coffee shop for $15, here for a dirty chai+brie crostini I paid about $9. Crostini & Java is a cute little cafe for coffee and food! I had the lox with egg bagel sandwich and my boyfriend had the lox with cream cheese. They were really really good! I think it was the owner who made the food for us and he was a such a gentleman! He asked me how I like my coffee and he even customized a cup of joy for me!! All the items are under $10 - an avocado toast is $4.95!!! I went back the next day to get the avocado & cream cheese bagel and it was also another pleasant choice! I'd love to go back and try their lunch sandwiches, they looked amazing! I highly recommend this place! Great quality of food and service and very affordable! The sandwiches were great. I had the ultimate breakfast sandwich and the prosciutto and mozzarella. The lavender latte was good, just a little bland. My big concern is the fact that they like to embarrass customers by not double checking that their purchase goes through. Someone literally yelled outside where I was waiting to tell me my card didn't go through. When all they needed to do was check/ look at the pos checkout system. There was nothing on the screen that said declined. I signed an everything. . I should've have check right then and there but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. Come to find out the charge went through after I already paid again. When I called, I was told the manager will call me back and that was earlier in the morning, hours ago. It would be nice to receive the call and have my order refunded ASAP. read more

My boyfriend and I found this place after doing a quick Yelp check to find a quick breakfast after an outing in the area. What we didn't expect was to find the best breakfast sandwich either of us had ever tasted. The Ultimate Breakfast sandwich is the perfect combination of breakfast and lunch with options to add turkey or bacon, a perfectly flaky croissant, perfectly ripe avocado, and scrumptious secret sauce. The man behind the counter which must have been the owner was very sweet and take great care in the food he's preparing. The chicken salad was delicious and the homemade dressing was to die for. I also ordered a mozzarella crostini that made me wish it was time to Enjoy a glass of wine! On that note they offer a free crostini when you have a glass of wine. Very reminiscent of Spain. Stopped in here because it's right around the block from me! Was not disappointed- bagel sandwich was lovely, and house coffee was good. The owner is a real gem, obviously cares about his business and guests and offered me a lavender latte to try. DEFINITELY recommend that. Lovely vibe, big open windows for the sunny day. No WiFi unfortunately, but makes sense as it's a small space. Opened just a few months ago and seems to be doing very well around breakfast and lunch!
