I got the mexicanito and it was really healthy and fresh :) my only reason for the 4 stars was that it took a little long to come out. maybe like 20 min :( there was no one in line either )

This seems to be quite the popular spot. Came on a Saturday morning at around 10ish and there was a decent crowd and when I left after eating it seemed like a new crowd had formed. It is real quick to order but due to how busy they are it can be a bit of a wait. They have a lot of outdoor seating with a couple tables inside. The food was worth the wait. I got the meat lovers burrito and it was loaded. Could have done with just eating half....but with the hot sauce it just tasted so good I finished the whole thing and left feeling stuuuffed. Glad my friend found it tucked away in Nob Hill. Looking forward to going back!

Very good service, super cute small inside with a good amount of seating outside. The food was very good me and my friends all enjoyed what we got.

This was my second time and I got the: (8/10) Farmers Burrito - Good but the salsa is quite spicy even without the hot sauce. Not the biggest burrito, one issue is that they cut the burrito with the foil wrapped and so my friend almost ate small pieces of the foil. The workers are very friendly and sweet. Better than sweet is owned by the family as well but in a separate store next to Cafe Isabella, so I had to pay separately but the workers gave us our drinks while we were in Cafe Isabella. They take orders at the door but you can ask to sit inside (very limited but there's also outdoor seating). It's not too clear, but they also have specials posted inside the cafe. The cafe is pretty eccentrically decorated. I spent around $17 including tax and tip per burrito, bit expensive but always down to support local restaurants.

We found this place after the lines near our hotel were too long, so we decided to ride the cable car up to the cable car museum. Cafe Isabella is perfect. The prices are very reasonable. The food is absolutely delicious. You can get anything from a giant breakfast burrito to an açai bowl or smoothie next-door, with many different options for chai, Matcha, just about anything you want. The owners are very friendly. Will definitely come here again!

I was excited to try this place because it has been really hyped up and I thought it was just okay. I ordered the farmers burrito, with no rice (because I typically don't like rice in burritos, most of theirs had rice in them). It was pretty small and soggy but the taste was pretty good. It came with a side of chips. This was $15.95 before tax. I also ordered a house coffee, small, which was $3.50. Overall it was decent but it didn't wow me. There are 3 small tables inside and 3 outside. I came early on a Tuesday so there weren't that many people but around lunch time after 12 pm is when more people started coming in.

Very good place. We had the Mexicanito bagel, the Energy Burrito, and two iced lattes. This is a wonderful family-owned business offering great quality at very fair prices; especially impressive given how hard it is to find a burrito under $10, particularly for students. The service exceeded expectations: extremely friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. This is absolutely a place that deserves a 20%+ tip.

We stopped by Cafe Isabella after moving into our new apartment and we are so thankful and excited to have this gem in our neighborhood! This is a family run cafe and you can taste the love in the food! Huge portions, fresh ingredients, and even homemade salsa! We got the chance to speak with the owner and she made us feel welcomed and we can't wait to continue supporting this cafe! They also own a juice shop next door with delicious healthy smoothies, juices, and food as well. We also got a smoothie to enjoy with our breakfast and it was just perfect.

The cutest cafe ever. The neighborhood feel of blues, trees, trolley rides, the ambiance is mellow and sweet. The sound of birds singing nearby. Just love The hand crafted breakfast selections. My favorite is the student burrito with egg / cheese and avocado. The best way to start the day.

Very solid burrito. Cafe Isabella was a lovely little spot with kind staff. I only tried the breakfast burrito, but I want to come back to try their coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Definitely a decent burrito outside of the mission. Give it a try!

Very cute neighborhood breakfast sandwich & burrito spot! We went around 1-1:30 (they close at 3) and it was not busy so we were able to order quickly. We got the bagel isa special and the farmers burrito. Both were a little pricey but super filling and satisfying! The bagel had cream cheese and ham and bacon so it was quite rich, but I liked the addition of veggies to add freshness. The farmers burrito was very filling as well, as it had both rice and potatoes. Not as much sausage in the filling but lots of egg. Had a few tables for outdoor seating! Very friendly and patient owners. I was quite indecisive about what to order but they were very nice :) The food only took about 10 minutes to be ready.

After passing by on a Sunday morning and seeing the long lines, we couldn't resist the curiosity of knowing the secret sauce that attracts such a large crowd. Cafe Isabella is a quaint store primarily featuring take-out, is family-run, and has a breakfast menu containing bagels, sandwiches, and coffees. Because it is family-run, our simple order of an egg and cheese bagel was placed behind the long queue of waiting customers - so we ended up waiting 30 minutes. The bagel itself was nice. By 10 am, they had already run out of their Everything Bagels! So we resorted to a simple Sesame egg and cheese - the ingredients seemed fresh, and the bagel itself was as delightful as an egg and cheese combination can taste.

On a Winter season stroll in the beginning of 2026 , I landed at Le Sandwich. This place has lots of sandwiches available made by Chef Elias. I decided to try their Primo ( means Prime in Italian) sandwich. I have to say this is one of the tastiest sandwiches I had in San Francisco. It had meats which were tender such as Genoa Salami, coppa, and ham. It's has melting provolone which made it cheesy like some in SF. The gentleman at the register was nice and welcoming. They have a great variety of food to choose from, including sandwiches, burgers, spaghetti, pizza, wings, and more. This was hands down the BEST food we had during our 4-day visit to San Francisco! I especially want to give a huge shout-out to the cook, Victor! You may think, "It's just pizza and wings," but NO--Victor made everything to perfection! The wings were cooked well done, just how we like them, with the perfect crispy texture. The pizza was delicious too! I only wish we had found this place on our first day. We ended up having dinner here on the last two nights of our vacation because we loved it that much! They also offer a 3% discount if you pay with cash. We paid around $35 for a small pizza (6 slices) 10 wings, and a drink. It was more than enough food for two people, and we even had leftover pizza. if you buy 1 slice of pizza the slices are pretty big. Other places we were spending almost $50 for two people each meal. I truly hope this place stays in business for many years to come. Great food, friendly service, good portions, and reasonable prices. If you're in San Francisco, give this place a try--you won't regret it! Five stars from us!
