This spot was close to where I was staying so I tried it out. Got seated right away and the service was friendly. I enjoyed the blueberry pancakes, side of smashed avocado and shared a side of bacon. The coffee was tasty and definitely not too weak. I always appreciate when non dairy creamers are available and got the oat milk. The presentation was really nice and the straight forward breakfast items made it easy for me to order without overthinking. I'm a picky pancake eater but I finished what I was served. It had more of a cake texture but it wasn't overly sweet. This would be a great place to sit and read a book! We had ask to for a couple of items twice but it was still a nice experience.
Came here with friends and this place is beautiful for a nice catchup breakfast! Good: - The avocado toast was very healthy tasting and the ingredients tasted very fresh - I liked the flavor of the superfood latte, it was quite good and kept me energized - The pillows next to the window are so cozy Bad: - The place is super busy in the morning so the lines are long - The portion sizes are tiny and the prices are high for the amount of food you get Overall this is a definitely upscale experience that I'd only come to as a treat.
Great tip: Bluestone available on Uber Eats at 7AM! Travels well, just as delicious. Don't overlook this on a lazy weekend morning.

I hadn't been to a bluestone lane before, I went here for brunch with someone who goes here frequently. Interesting, they're Aussie, so I wanted to order one of the "Aussie best" dishes. The soft chili scramble with avocado seemed to be one of the most popular dishes from the reviews and I can see why. It had a lot going for it, the combination of the wheat bread with egg, avocado and "spicy" grilled chicken worked well, it has a nice kick of spice with the chili oil/flakes/sauce that went around the plate. I'd definitely get this dish again. I also ordered a matcha latte and that was standard, quite big in terms of portion though. Nice cafe located on the corner with a nice setup and ambiance. I will only say it was slightly pricey but I think the taste and quality was legitimately good.
So glad I stumbled upon Bluestone Lane! I was visiting SF and in my office looking for some lunch close by and I found Bluestone on Yelp. I placed an order online and made my quick walk over to pick up the meal. My main reason for docking a star would be price. A breakfast burrito and a side of potatoes cost me over $22 which felt really expensive to me. Moving past price, overall I loved my meal. The burrito was delicious and the potato wedges were seasoned great. I was thoroughly impressed by the food and the staff was super nice, but I just wish it were less expensive.
I tried their Bondi Blue Smoothie and it was DELICIOUS. Their staff is so kind, their service is fast, and the location is so perfectly situated in a lively city street and the inside is so spacious. It's a perfect place to be on your own or bring company and sit to relax or work on something.
I ordered magic coffee (cold) & he gave something that looks half way full , looks like he threw in couple of ice...every time I go there no issue, but since he's been taking my orders he's kinda cocky & rude. I asked him why it looked like someone's been drinking it he said that's how it is! Was laughing like it was funny
We used to order Bluestone Lane 3-5 times a week, but we finally stopped--and today's order reminded us exactly why. The orders are always wrong. The portions have shrunk to the point of borderline shrinkflation. They never include napkins or utensils, which is basic stuff any café should get right. We decided to give them another chance, and what shows up? "Crispy Brussels" that were literally half full... and missing the main ingredient: not one single piece of bacon. How do you forget the bacon when it's part of the actual dish? Bluestone Lane used to be a reliable favorite. Now it feels like we're paying premium prices for careless mistakes and smaller portions. Very disappointing.
I came by on a Sunday to grab an afternoon treat and ended up getting a Berry Brekkie smoothie with oat milk, blueberries, strawberries and banana which was a great healthy sweet treat. Loved the texture and thickness of the smoothie which was just right for me. It was super fresh and really satisfied by fruit smoothie. Bluestone Lane cafes are always a good casual to grab coffee or a quick meal.
I love halloumi cheese. I did not know it was cheese at first but ordered it cuz it sounded funny, but it tasted good Thank u for putting me on
MOLD! Let me give you the run down. Went around 12 on a Sunday and it was quite busy. The inside is sort of small but very cute. Only had to wait 8ish minutes to be seated. We ordered through a QR code which had the full menu with photos. My friend's hot latte came and it was in a glass (not a mug) so it was hard for her to even hold it to drink due to the heat. Our food finally came and the presentation was nice. It tasted good until my friend got the rice bowl and she found mold in the rice :( it was weird looking to begin with because it was clumpy and fuzzy compared to the rest. (See circled photo) We immediately got our servers attention who took it back to the kitchen. He came back and informed us it was mold and my friend would get a full refund and they can remake the meal with quinoa. Service was nice but the mold ruined our experience. Sadly will not be coming back.

Smoothies are amazing and everything is reasonably priced. The three times I've been there I have been immediately seated at a table without a reservation. A must visit if you are a brunch type of person!!

Great place for some tasty food and delicious coffee! They have a great selection, my server Edgar took the time to inform me about my drink selection. After many morning coffee rushes here, I experienced my first time dining in at the Lane Avery location. I always adored the indoor dining here, but never got a chance. I managed to slide in about 30 minutes prior to closing and order a drink to dine in. FYI if you are using their app this location doesn't have table numbers or QR codes, but let your server know your name so they can be on the lookout. I do this especially if I have a reward I want to use since sometimes, it doesn't apply with the in-person transactions. Through the app, you can also see that one can request chocolate, cinnamon, Milo powder, etc free of charge. Neat! read more

One of my favorite neighborhood spots for brunch or lunch! Located on a busy corner in a very residential neighborhood, Bluestone Lane is the cutest cafe, with gorgeous decor and ample seating. I love coming here for their green goddess bowl, it's a delicious salad with fresh vegetables, avocado, and a dressing with a kick. The service is very simple, you sit at a table and order directly from the QR code on the table so there's very little waiting most of the time. For coffee and pastries, it's also easy to order directly at the counter. read more

Cute little cafe. Serves lunch food, breakfast, snacks and hot/ cold drinks. The soup was delicious and the sourdough bread was toasted perfectly. Nice workers and calm atmosphere. If you enjoy their coffee they sell it in bags. Indoor and outdoor seating, alittle on the pricer side. read more

The place is amazing, the food very tasty, I ordered a BL burrito stuffed with spicy chicken and without a doubt one of the best options, I highly recommend it, we were very well served, a great service, I would come back as many times as I can read more
Been a few years since coming back for dine in, usually get coffees to go. Service is amazing, even gave our baby some milk since we left ours at home! Fresh ingredients, the chicken is well cooked, not salty at all anymore. Only feedback is the athletes burrito was fairly watery so it soaked through the bottom of the wrap. Love coming here and eating healthy and delicious foods. read more

Tried Bluestone while I was in the area and it was a GREAT experience! Popped in on a Saturday morning around 9:30am ish and it wasn't too busy. My friend and I got a table and ordered through the QR code. Food came out pretty quickly and we shared the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. It was quiet when we were there and customer service was quick! The star of the meal was 100% the lemon ricotta pancakes. I've never had any like these at other restaurants. Perfect combination of sweet and freshness. Absolutely perfect and recommend you coming to try Bluestone for these alone! I got the BL burrito and it was also great! Their matcha was also really good, I prefer lattes on the sweeter side but this and the pancakes together made for the perfect bite. Must try! read more
I used to love coming here, but the quality of service has varied so much that I don't always have a positive experience here anymore, so I don't come here as often now or I just do takeout. Food: The food and drink offerings here are generally consistent and good - some of my go-to items are flat white, brekkie board, and athletes burrito. Both the dine-in and takeout (including ordering in -app) experiences are usually pretty seamless, though as expected there may be a longer wait time if they're busy. Service: As mentioned the service here hasn't been consistent. In a recent visit, I was excited to bring me mom here for brunch since she was visiting SF for the first time in years and has never tried Bluestone. We asked for a hardcopy menu for her because she was having a lot of difficulty reading the digital one via the QR code and the server kept saying no and that we had to order online. I understand that we have to order online (I was going to order for her on my phone), but that's not what the issue was and even after several tries he was not listening to what we were asking for and why. Finallyy another staff member listened to us and brought us a paper menu for her to read more easily. In another visit, I came with a friend for a drink deal which was not applied when we ordered on the QR code as she said it would, and so the deal wasn't honoured and we had to pay full price. What's the point of having the deals if they don't work? Ambiance: I usually try to avoid coming to Bluestone on weekends - on weekdays the ambiance is pretty chill and relaxed, and I've never had issues with getting a table to dine in. read more

A very nice casual brunch spot. You order through a QR code, which makes it easy if people are paying separately, and the food comes quickly. It is fairly healthy and tasty brunch food at a reasonable price. Food seems fresh! I ordered a simple avocado toast and yogurt with granola and fruit for ~ $20. I also ordered a golden latte (had never had one before, but I liked it!). Perfect weekend spot, especially if you want to stay and chat for a while. read more
I love their scrambled eggs. Buttery, soft, never over or underdone. No toast with it which is perfect for me. Ambiance is bright, warm, easy to work or meet in. Staff is inconsistent. I've had a couple sweet hearts who smile and are warm and inviting. I've had Australian managers who seem annoyed that I ask about unsweetened alternative milks (I don't ask w/an attitude) and try to convince me that oat milk is good enough because it's no sugar added. (It's ok, not quite the same though.) Maybe because it's the city and it's early when I'm in. It was enough for me to try other shops to see if I can find similar eggs and atmosphere. Not found yet so I'll be back and hope for the nice ones. It's an Aussie based shop and their coffee drinks are named a bit different so it takes a bit to figure it out. read more
Love coming to this place. A modern, aesthetic cafe with actually a lot of seating and tables of different sizes. Great for getting work done or catching up with friends. FOOD: Food wise, a relatively extensive menu of options and lots of pretty healthy options too, all of which you can further customize easily. You scan a QR code on the table to place your order so if you have a large group, you can all either order on one tab or pay your own tabs from the table. I got the baked eggs this time and added a side of chicken. Overall really tasty and high in protein! The eggs are more thoroughly baked and not as jammy or runny as I thought they would be though. SERVICE: Service is wonderful and all the people here are super sweet. Food can take some time to come out so if you're in a rush just keep that in mind. read more

Loved the ambiance, friendly feel, clean tables and polite staff :) perfect first impression for sure! The indoor seating was inviting indeed and outdoor seating had a good mix of shaded/ sunlit sides to choose from. Its slightly expensive for an everyday breakfast cafe but definitely great for weekend breakfast/ brunch or a one off special and quick breakfast sitting pretty on your table day :) In $40 we got, - soft chili scramble - 5/5 with fresh avacado, perfectly cooked egg, sheep feta and spicy chili oil :) garnished with sesame seeds and crushed red pepper chili flakes . Loved it $18 before tax - milo milkshake - 4/5 surprising good and not too sweet - iced mocha large - 4/5- good combo of caffeine to sweetness - vanilla oat latte - 3/5- i wish it was stronger on the caffeine level but overall not too bad deducting 1 star for being slightly on the higher end for the portion size. read more
