Physician, NP and Nurses managed the medications well, their Staff (administrator, case manager, social workers, and aides) showed unending compassion, caring, treat with love, patient, and kind. They are all attentive and met her daily needs. Housekeeping kept her room always clean, tidy, odor-free, and with welcoming ambience. The food was excellent, and delicious too. The skilled team (PT/OT/ST) worked closely with my mom and created a customized care plan tailored for her specific needs, and provided a hands-on approach that promoted her steady progress and confidence. The Activities gave her something to look forward to everyday (like bingo, puzzle etc) It is a really a beautiful facility, Staff are great, and the most important is they truly treat their residents like own family. My partner and I are on vacation to San Francisco for the weekend, and this was my first time coming. Arriving to Sweet Maple, there was a line out the door and around the corner. As for the service itself, I must say it was very rushed and impersonal. It was not easy to attract the attention of our waiter who just did not seem to take us seriously as he did not give our demands much thought. Similarly, as for the food, it appeared to be rather unappetizing, and having paid quite a bit, I could really expect something better. Sweet Maple has been recommended to me a few times, so we finally decided to give it a try. My first impression was a little confusing. When we arrived, there wasn't anyone waiting in the designated queue area, so we walked in and checked in with the host. He then asked us to go back outside and get behind a group that had arrived after us. Although I was slightly frustrated the experience turned around. Our server was friendly, attentive, and had some great recommendations that helped us navigate the menu. We started with the Millionaire's Bacon sampler, which let us try all four versions: Citron (orange and sea salt), Original, Cinnamon (chipotle and sweet cinnamon), and Rosemary (rosemary and pepper). The bacon is thick-cut, sweet, smoky, and packed with flavor. While they were all good, the Cinnamon was my favorite. I literally couldn't stop eating any of the flavors! We shared The Francis Soufflegg Skillet, loaded with chicken mango sausage, bacon, and scallions, and served with toast and tri-colored potatoes. The eggs were light and fluffy, and the combination of the sweet-savory chicken mango sausage with the smoky bacon worked really well. The tri colored potatoes were light, crispy, perfectly seasoned, and some of the better breakfast potatoes I've had in a while. We shared a side of the fried French toast. It was good, but a little on the dry side. After seeing the regular French toast come out to other tables, we'd probably order that instead. Fun spot with great food. The omurice itself was super soft and creamy, with that perfectly runny egg on top that makes the dish. Went for breakfast last Friday morning... There were 3 of us for breakfast. We arrived at the restaurant around 9:00 and there was already a line. We waited for 20 - 30 minutes and got a table! I ordered the scrambled eggs with shrimp, capers and spinach, potatoes and sourdough toast. coffee too. the eggs were great, really creamy. The shrimp were nicely cooked with just the right amount of capers and spinach. My issue was with the potatoes. I really like crispy hashbrowns. Must be a Midwest thing because nobody in California has them. What I found to be most common are cubed potatoes, probably boiled first and then deep fried. I really don't like potatoes with the skins still on them. I worked in many restaurants, and I know that nobody cleans the potato skins as well as one would in their own home. Kind of a turn off for me. Anyway, the coffee was pretty good. My dining partners had bacon and eggs and the other had pancakes (I think). 2 coffees and 1 iced tea. The bill came to something like $120.00. The food was really good (except for the potatoes), but the price??? I'd go back, but wow! read more

My only note, is that this is a fairly large and busy restroom serving copious amounts of mimosas with only two toilets... This morning I visited Sweet Maple for brunch with high expectations. I ordered the New York steak medium rare, but unfortunately it was served medium. The presentation was good, but when it comes to steak, temperature is everything, and I specifically did not order medium. When the server came to remove the plate, my dog barked unexpectedly, which startled him and caused coffee to spill onto the table. It was an awkward moment, but the staff handled it professionally and remained attentive throughout. The overall service was good and friendly, and the waiting time was pretty standard for a brunch spot. The décor is simple and basic, nothing particularly memorable, but comfortable enough. I also ordered a Nutella crepe, and here's where I was truly disappointed. It wasn't Nutella.. it tasted like regular chocolate spread. And as someone who considers herself a Nutella connoisseur, I can tell the difference immediately. If you advertise Nutella, it should be Nutella. Overall, it was a decent experience with some details that could definitely be improved.
