Wow! I'm obsessed with this place. Based on the positive reviews they have, this place lived up to its expectations. We went during lunch on a Saturday, and the line was out the door. However, it did end up going by fast because we were comfortable sitting outdoors. Service was okay, nothing particular to point out. I appreciate their unique menu selections and each of the dish we had was delightful. We ordered family style and it was great trying a little of everything. Millionare's bacon sampler - 4 different types. Thick, flavorful, well made. My fav was their cinnamon! Morning Tacos - thick pieces. Comes with salsa and pico de gallo on the side. Amazing Pimped Shin Cupbop - Fried rice but there were bits of ramen noodles combined. Went great with egg and bacon. Big Hip - Deep fried French Toast. Probably my favorite one. This one was sooo delicious. I'd recommend adding their fried banana and candied walnut topping for extra. Breakfast combo with their chicken mango sausage. Sweet Maple is one of our favorite brunch spots in San Francisco. What I like about this place is they offer a number of unique dishes that you don't often find at other breakfast spots. You can only eat so may eggs and bacon or omelettes! If haven't tried it, the Millionaire's Bacon is a must try. It is a thick cut of bacon cooked and coated with a sweet and savory thick sauce. Not inexpensive but worth a splurge once in a while. Instead of ordering it a la carte, I recommend ordering it as part of entree or dish. Today, we ordered the Blackstone Eggs Benedict which includes a slice of the Millionaire's Bacon. The Benedict is nicely done with the running egg and the hollandaise sauce is spot on. 5 out of 5 Another dish that you don't find often at other breakfast spots is Pizza. Who doesn't like Pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?? Anyway, the pizzas are solid and I guess what makes it different than a regular pizza is they put an egg over it. I've had better pizzas in the Bay Area but this is a solid 4 out of 5. The pizza edge is really crispy. The toppings are generous and fresh. I also recommend the Soufflegg Skillets which is a soft steamed egg scramble on a skillet. My favorite is the Savory which is scampi shrimps with crispy bacon. While I didn't try, they do offer a bottomless Mimosa for $26 per person from morning to 1:30 pm weekdays and until 2 pm on weekends. Be careful if you drink too much though as there is a cleaning fee :) They do get quite busy on the weekends so be prepared for a wait! read more

We came all the way from Sacramento and Sweet Maple was absolutely worth the trip. The only downside? We spent more time looking for parking than we did eating but honestly, once the food hit the table, we forgot all about it. We ordered the crab eggs Benedict, breakfast pizza, and the bacon sampler, and every single item was sooooo good. Flavorful, fresh, indulgent without being heavy...just done right. The bacon sampler alone is a must-try. Service was quick and efficient, which we really appreciated. The service was fast and everyone was very nice and attentive. The food came very quickly and was delicious. We ordered an iced latte, and a cappuccino, both were great and the cappuccino looked beautiful. They had plenty of vegetarian/pescetarian options. And a huge variety of options to choose from. I ordered the camaron scramble, and it was so good. The bread was fresh and tasty, and the potatoes were great. My partner got the SM Omurice and he loved it. He had never had omurice before, but will be comparing all he tries in the future to this one. The place was packed and the interior was super cute. It's a solid 4/5 brunch spot in town. The menu is diverse enough to please everyone. It has all the classics and a few specialties, all with small touches. There is always a line, and our previous three attempts to try out their food had failed mainly due to the long wait, but we finally made it today. If you go early enough (before 10), the wait seems to be shorter. Regarding food, we tried a few options, from the bacon sampler, tacos, fried rice special, eggs Benedict, and the souffleggs. The portions are huge, and frankly speaking, I would rather have less food for a lesser price so we can try more items. Overall, the service was reasonable given how busy they were, and nothing to complain about. This was my first time checking out their Walnut Creek location and it seems like no matter what location, sweet maple will always hit the spot. We ordered the Haas omelette, Korean fried chicken, Millionaire's bacon, and the Blueberry Cloud French toast. While I usually go for the Big Hip French Toast at the other locations (sadly not on the Walnut Creek menu), the blueberry version was a nice substitute fluffy, sweet, and satisfying. It didn't come with syrup and wished I ordered some on the side. The Korean fried chicken was the standout for me. Crispy, flavorful, and definitely a must-order. The Millionaire's bacon was everything I expected: sweet, savory, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The Haas omelette was fresh, hearty, and full of flavor. He was a little skeptical about the tomatoes and asparagus, but it literally made the plate was absolutely delicious. We also ordered a fried French toast to share. It was absolutely delicious. I definitely could've had that as an entrée with some of that bacon would've been off the hook. I had an egg soufflé with veggies on top. I really wish it would've had cheese. It was my fault for not reading the menu, but it was still super good. Definitely have to be an egg lover to eat this. I would say you are definitely gonna get your protein in breakfast if you finish it, the potato medley that accompanied it was OK . I know it's weird to say, but the toast was absolutely delicious. Sweet Maple is good but to be completely honest I am shocked at the way my experience went. I was here to celebrate my friend's birthday and she wanted to do the bottomless mimosas. We were a party of 9 and 5 of us drove ourselves there. Their policy is that all people at the table have to do bottomless mimosas, which I understand but it is unfortunate considering many of us were meeting up in San Francisco and legitimately did have to drive after the meal. The other thing that shocked me was the cake cutting fee. My friend had brought in a birthday and they charged $3 per person to cut the cake for us. There was no way around this and they would not let us cut it ourselves. Considering this business is doing extremely well, I don't appreciate these stupid fees. I have been here a couple of times before. It is good but not amazing. I had a really disappointing experience with our server, Mote, at Sweet Maple. As someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for 5-6 years, I was honestly shocked by how rude and dismissive he was. My boyfriend and I came in for brunch to celebrate his birthday. We ordered two martinis, but I didn't like one of them and politely asked if I could switch it. He immediately said, "We don't do that here," and then questioned me multiple times like, "Are you sure you'll actually like the other one?" It felt condescending and unnecessary. Before even taking the drink away, he added, "You can't just try everything," which came off extremely rude. I still tipped 18% because I understand how stressful serving can be, especially when it's busy, but that kind of attitude is not okay. The food was amazing, and I would love to come back, but I really hope the service improves because no one should be treated like that.
