Fisherman's Salad - soooo loaded with Dungeness Crab!
    Lynn O.

I'm so happy I came across this place during my last visit in SF! It was just blocks from where I was staying and being an eggs Benedict lover, Mymy drew me in. Everything on their menu looks so delicious! Wish I had a bigger group with me to try more dishes! I was torn between the Lemon Dill Crab Shrimp Cake Benedict and the Baja California Benedict. The server recommended the Lemon Dill Crab, which is actually $10 cheaper than the Baja. Their house made lemon dill sauce was delicious and the eggs were poached perfectly. The salad was fresh and loved the dressing it came with too. My friend got the Fisherman's Salad, which had a generous amount of fresh Dungeness crab, crab shrimp cake, sautéed shrimp on top of fresh greens, feta, cranberries and house made cilantro pepita dressing. The combinations of these ingredients were brilliant and the price was a very reasonable $33! They offer many other breakfast and lunch options like monte cristo, chilaquiles, shrimp n grits, sandwiches, French toast and they seem to be known for their soufflé pancakes, which I sadly didn't partake in this time. They also offer various espresso drinks, teas, nonalcoholic beverages as well as beer and mimosas! There are some indoor tables as well as a parklet for decent outdoor seating. Service was great! I will be thinking of Mymy next time I'm in town!

Such a great brunch spot! Everything we ordered was amazing, and the portions were HUGE. Definitely come hungry because you will leave super full and happy. The eggs were absolutely cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the pancakes were insanely fluffy. The crispy potatoes were the highlight, perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside while still soft inside! We went around 1pm on a Saturday and saw there was a line, which made us a little nervous at first. But the line moved super fast, which makes sense since they have tons of seating inside, along the sidewalk, and even in a cute little gazebo area. It was nice and sunny out, so we didn't mind sitting outside at all. The only downside was the iced latte. It was pretty watery and light when it came out, so we asked to have it remade and our server was so kind about it (it seemed like she heard that complaint before.) The new one tasted like they just added an extra shot on top, but it was fine. Not amazing, but definitely drinkable. On the other hand, the hot chai latte was super delicious, creamy, flavorful, and totally worth ordering! Overall, such a great brunch experience. Amazing food, big portions, fast-moving line, and friendly service. Would definitely go back!

Overall, a good brunch place. The Tex mex scramble was very flavorful with taco seasoning and rich. You can choose either a side of salad or fried potatoes. It came with three tortillas. The chipotle pulled pork scramble had a sweeter sauce and cilantro salsa on top. The portions were large. There was a ~20 minute wait on a Sunday for a party of two. The restaurant is on the smaller side so the tables were close together. They also have outdoor seatings.

Everything I've had here is absolutely delicious. Both the crab and lobster Benedict are pricey but worth every penny. And the zucchini pancakes - what a surprise! Staff is super friendly and attentive. Great outdoor seating, can be a line.

It's difficult to explain how much my husband and I love Mymy. Pricy and busy, yes, but it never, ever disappoints. Their brunch is amazing. The lemon cottage cheese pancakes are unique and delicious, so filling and not overly sweet. They do both sweet and savory well, and always include fruit or an orange at least. The coffee is so yummy and their plates and cups are precious to look at the photograph. Lots of cute tables and artwork. It screams San Francisco charm. The staff is incredibly attentive and happy to help. This place is wonderful. Get there early and enjoy all of their perfect, cravable foods!!!

This is the best brunch spot in the city!! I had to come twice on my trip because nothing could beat it. Everything I tried was 5/5 but the one thing that stood out were the breakfast potato's they were super simple but super delicious! This place gets pretty packed and I can see why, but the wait wasn't too long the times I came. All the servers were super friendly as well. The lattes here were exceptional and I'm usually a coffee snob. The chilaquiles breakfast was a massive portion but so delicious and savory. The French toast and pancakes were good sweet options and I really enjoyed those too. The omelet was a pretty big portion as well and super filling.

First time here! Loved that there was no wait time, since we came on a weekday. Didn't love how close our table was to the kitchen area, but we didn't ask to switch so i can't complain too much haha. Overall, had a nice brunch here (though a bit pricey)! Banana soufflé pancakes - SO good! (but not as soft and fluffy as Gram Cafe... I'm still looking for something to fill that hole after the Stonestown location closed). I really loved the sweet cream on the side (some form of condensed milk?), and it even had a pretty design! Very aesthetic! Norwegian Benedict - yummy, but $25 is pricey! I wouldn't pay that much for it again. I've had similar quality salmon eggs benedicts for cheaper.

Another fabulous brunch at Mymy! The Miss Mymy is still my favorite plate but you really can't go wrong here - just get what speaks to your heart. The lavender latte was on the sweeter side which was perfect for a gloomy day. Remember you need your full party to be seated!

This is a cute little brunch spot with a nice variety of options! We managed to show up right after the peak and snagged a table right when we walked in. It was a Tuesday and still pretty darn busy. We shared a mimosa carafe and a couple of items which was perfect for two. First up was the lemon cottage cheese pancakes. They were delicious and light. Second up was the corn beef hash. It had a nice flavor and crispiness. We opted for the salad as the side and I am glad because there were already some yummy potatoes included. Service is great and the food was good. Stop by and enjoy some good brunch items at this joint.

Got here right when it opens at 9am. There was a small line forming already, but pretty much if you come when it opens you'll be pretty much guaranteed a spot. Diner is small but there are quite a bit of tables inside and out and the turnover is pretty quick. I got the french toast and really loved it. It was not too sweet and super fluffly on the inside. The fruits were nice and sweet and the pine nuts really added a nice texture and nutty flavor to the french toast.

    Tex Mex Scramble

Visited a Saturday around noon with some friends. One of them arrived earlier, so when we got there they already had a table ready for us (he waited around 40 min in line). It was definitely very busy, but the service was very fast. The staff were very attentive. We ordered a classic eggs benedict, tex-mex scrambled and french toast to share. We asked for the eggs benedict to be over hard, which is unusual, and they did it to perfection, very tasty. The tex-mex scrambled had many flavors to it, the combination of the veggies, the spicy sauce and avocado was pleasurable bomb to the palate. The potatoes were crunchy, but soft on the inside. The french toasts were soft and sweet, but not overpowering, the fruits paired very well. Lastly, I ordered an iced dirty chai which was very good. Overall, would revisit and try more items on the menu. Keep in mind if you visit, that it's a bit on the pricier side.

Pretty good brunch find in Nob Hill! We came on a Saturday morning and waited about 20 minutes for a table of 3. They move quick so don't let the lines make you skip out. FOOD: I got a side of the crab cakes and a side of avocado to build my own plate. Crab cakes were super flavorful and the sauce was great. I also got a lavender latte which was not too sweet and very balanced! PRICE: Portion was super fair for the price. The larger dishes are definitely pricier than my sides, but the main dish portions were huge, so it's justified! INTERIOR: This is a small spot with not a ton of tables inside but they've also got terrace seating outside. There is a restroom in the back.

I'm not the biggest brunch person but Mymy's might've convinced me otherwise. Their Parmesan Crusted Zucchini Ricotta Pancake were incredible. The pancakes were fluffy and cheesy, served with a side of maple syrup. This dish was the perfect combination of sweet and salty. For how busy the restaurant was, the service was great!

    Do you guys take reservations?

They do not. No waitlist either--just line up out front the old fashioned way :)

Do they have mimosas? Bottomless mimosas?

    Pitcher but no bottomless

Do you have sour dough pancakes?

There aren't any sourdough pancakes currently on the menu. They do have ricotta or cottage cheese pancakes.

Is This place bottomless mimosas on Sunday?

No, unfortunately they don't have bottomless mimosas! :(

    Are dogs allowed on patio?

    Yes! :)

Gluten free ? Do the have gluten free outings and I don't want a salad!

They have scrambles where you can sub out the toast with fruit.

Realistically, how long is the average wait time for a Saturday? Best time - early or later? And lastly, are all breakfast items served all day? Thx!

I go solo usually which gets me a table pretty quickly since I can sit at the nook as a single. I see doubles (or more if the group is larger) wait what seems to be at least 20 min., probably more like 45 at times for a table. Is it worth it? Maybe,…

As amazing as it looks, Bottomless mimosas?

No bottomless mimosas but, a carafe is the best way to go.

Do they serve breakfast all day?

Sure do! They don't have all the Benedict's but they have all the popular breakfast options available

Whether you are in the mood for a katsu sando, curry over rice, ochazuke with their matcha twist, or something sweet like the matcha cream pie, it is hard to go wrong here. All of the savory dishes I have tried have been great, but the fish katsu sando is one of my absolute favorites. The huge fish fillets are perfectly fried and flaky, tucked inside pillowy shokupan and topped with tangy yuzu shio koji sauce, tomato spread, and fresh crunchy cabbage. Every component works together beautifully, with richness, brightness, and texture all in balance. The pork katsu curry over rice is another standout. The katsu comes sliced into thick pieces that are still juicy inside, and it is fried expertly so the breading stays attached as you eat it. The curry has a really balanced flavor, even if I would not mind a little more spice, while the pickled radishes provide a nice contrast. I always add an onsen egg (for an additional $2) because breaking the runny yolk and mixing it into the curry adds another layer of velvety richness and creaminess. You can also tell they use high-quality matcha in their drinks, so the beverage menu is really more about choosing what fits your mood that day vs avoiding any bad options. There was some green at the bottom of the cup that we did mix in with a stirrer but I prefer my matcha much darker with less ice. & That's just my opinion. It was still really good though! I will definitely be back to try all of the other drinks!

Didn't realize the rose latte would come as a hot drink but it was still good. Opted for less sweet but was a little more sweet than expected compared to the Yemeni latte. Yemeni coffee was light and subtle with cinnamon. Milk cake was moist and not too sweet - texture reminds me of a les tres cake. Rose and saffron flavors were perfect and not too overpowering Turkish coffee is not bitter or too strong. Knowing this now, will try some of their other drinks when I'm looking for something light in the future!

It's located at the filthy corner of 4th and Clara, which made the outside smell of urine. Fortunately the cafe itself is pretty clean, which is a nice escape from the street. I ordered an Americano and my friend got one of their $8+ lattes, which were fine, but nothing special. My biggest gripe was the service and absolute scorn of the customer. My friend and I sat at the counter basically in a staring contest with the woman behind the counter, who just stared right back. After some 30 seconds, we finally flagging her down to place our order. After turning around the drinks suspiciously quickly, my friend and I sat down to catch-up in the empty cafe. Before long, the barista pumps up the volume, increasing higher and higher every 5 minutes or so, as if to signal to us that our time was up. I asked her to turn down the volume, which she tuned down from an 11 to a 7, but minutes later it continued to creep up, like the snooze setting of an alarm clock coaxing you to wake up - except in this case, to get out. Ultimately, the volume got unbearable and we finally threw in the towel and got out of there to let the barista enjoy her music. Definitely never going back there - they clearly don't want the business. Food: 5/10 Service: 0/10 Price: $$ Atmosphere: 4/10

The chocolate is rich, the pastry is soft yet flakey, and there's a perfect little pinch of salt that really brings the flavor together. I'd also really recommend going to their monthly Loquat at night events with their incredible Sabich sandwiches. The one thing I'd warn is that the space is quite small and it's hard to find a seat, so I recommend taking the pastries out and enjoying them elsewhere.

My first priority was to try Loquat's famous babka, but the petite pink mahlab cake was also calling my name. I selected the salted chocolate babka to enjoy at the cafe and took the mahlab cake home to enjoy later. My friend and I lucked out because a table for two opened up right as we ordered. My babka was plated on a dainty ceramic dish, which matched the old-school European cafe vibes. The babka was light and fluffy, yet the outside was crisp and buttery like a croissant. The salted chocolate layers folded into the pastry were the perfect balance of sweet and salty, and the chocolate tasted high-quality. One babka could have probably been split into two servings, especially if you want to try multiple items, but I didn't leave behind a single crumb. All around us, the other diners seemed to be enjoying a full-scale brunch with savory pastries and what appeared to be a Turkish breakfast platter. It all smelled wonderful, so I'll have to explore more of the menu on my next visit. I enjoyed the mahlab cake a day later and was amazed that it retained its delicate and light texture. The icing was lightly flavored with orange, cherry, and floral notes, and the presentation was so elegant. The cake was the perfect accompaniment to my afternoon cup of tea. While I'm on a mission to try as many of SF's bakeries as I can, I am looking forward to returning to Loquat.
