Came here with my friend after the Golden Gate 5K for a breakfast of champions. We luckily got seated very quickly, as we completed our race before the half marathoners. Service was great! We got our food quickly and it was delicious. I got an ice vanilla matcha latte and sausage and eggs. LOVED the potatoes! Would definitely recommend this place.

Very cool menu with incredible hospitality from every single staff member. I was blown away by the kindness of each member of their team. French Toast was fluffy and phenomenal. Bacon was a thick perfectly cooked cut. Latte wasn't too sweet either a cool design. Highly recommend if you're in the area. Truly good service, actual real hospitality, is hard to come these days, so give them a shot and support local people doing amazing things.

Had a ball at this brunch spot! I had this place was bookmarked for the longesttt time and finally got around to trying it out. My friend and I got the French toast with berries and a bagel fix-up (strawberry + blueberry on one side and eggs on the other). I was obsessed with how the eggs were made! It was so simple and comforting. If it was closer, I'd definitely stop by often to grab a bagel with just that spread! But am glad they allow you to try two flavors/spreads! The French toast was good as well, loved it with the berries. Would definitely recommend this place!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful but the food was incredibly mid, especially at the price point. I was really hopeful for more. The avocado on the toast was very bland - could use more salt, lemon, anything to add more flavor.

Came here randomly on a Sunday got welcomed and seated right away! Staff were super friendly, prices were a bit pricy but great portions, and the food was so good along with their black coffee! Everything was wonderful. We got an omelette and berry waffle but would definitely try the banana French toast next time (seemed to be a popular dish and looked yummy!)

11am, Thursday, March 20, 2025: Arrived at the end of breakfast rush. Super friendly service. $34 with tip for the Avocado Toast trio. Individual toppings were bacon, egg, & balsamic drizzled over some kind of square white cheese. Mozzarella? Wow, that's a lot of food, including a side fruit cup. A real diner experience for the tourists & locals, nothing like nearby Fisherman's Wharf. That's a good thing. I have a feeling I ordered the wrong meal, a diner is best for classic bacon & eggs. Let's get my pet peeve out of the way. The seeded pre-sliced sandwich bread was not toasted, not even I bit. Call it open faced sandwich, but not a toast. So there I was getting crabby as I ripped apart the soggy bread with a butter knife. The avocado was a runny spread. The bacon was delicious. I asked for over medium egg & it arrived easy, sunny side up. I didn't have an appetite left for the balsamic. Besides, it came on a large slice of beefsteak tomato. Hate that tasteless refrigerated filler item. The fruit cup was classic, you know, probably canned pineapple (which was tasty), 5 blueberries, one raspberry, perfectly ripe banana, ok strawberry slices, & cubes of rock hard cantaloupe & honeydew melon. Why? Just why? Kinda dark in here & on a typical chilly day the metal, backless stools were really cold & uncomfortable. Four sidewalk tables for the hearty. I'm giving this meal a 3 star, which should not be a deterrent if you're in the hood. Just know ahead of time what to expect. Others might love the generous portions & not care if they can' t eat the "toast" with their hands. I'm not sure if Eight AM is locally owned, but it deserves support from the neighborhood.

If you're looking for great service, good food and conveniently located to the wharf, Eight Am is the place. We arrived at 8:30am on a Sunday and were seated right away, but within 15 minutes there was a long wait outside. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but we were comfortable and there is option for patio seating, we opted for indoors. The average cost per plate starts at around 25.00, the portions are good and the food is fresh. Gratuity is included in the bill here and after we had a few plates, a few juices, our bill was just under 100.00 for two. Service is quick, our waiter was friendly and attentive. We highly recommend a stop for breakfast here and we will definitely return when visiting San Francisco. Enjoy!

Cute little restaurant on our walk towards the Piers. We sat outside and were greeted by friendly wait staff. I had their open-faced bagel and opted for a sweet and a savory option. One half of the bagel had avocado, deli ham and an over easy egg. The other half with cream cheese, strawberries and honey, served with a large side of ripe fruit. My friend had an egg dish which she loved. The food was served hot and quickly with big portion sizes

The bagel plate, split in two and different topping options, was outstanding! Opted for avocado/ham/egg and cream cheese/strawberries/blueberries toppings! Delicious!!! Also comes with a generous side of fruits!

Tried this place for the first time today. The street construction outside is a little bummer but hopefully it's short lived. The patio out front is lovely. The food is tasty. The service was quick and friendly. My frittata was just a little bland but some hot sauce and salt/pepper fixed it right up. Love that the fruit is good fruit and not just melons

What a fabulous place. We were in SFO for 3 nights and went for BF to this joint each morning. The staff is very very polite, the place is crowded and immensely popular so be prepared to wait. Trust me the food is totally worth the wait. I will be coming back to this one on my next visit. Loved it!

In my opinion Lapisara ranks in the middle due to the other excellent options available. Seated immediately--had a reso but on a Wednesday morning not really necessary. It took a long time for the single employee to get to us but we weren't in a hurry. Cappuccino was very good in a cute "bear mug" and very reasonably priced. We shared a pacific omlet--not much crab, lots of shrimp, and nice swiss cheese/scallions but tasted kind of fishy--potatoes were only avg. Son said huevos rancheros were average. Price point good for SF and portions adequate to share. Location convenient so we will try dinner there tonight before a comedy show nearby. Dinner-5++ stars; 4 of us Had dinner last night-6pm-reso but not needed. only one other group dining. Single Waitress was great-we let her know we needed to leave in about an hour for a show and she timed everything perfectly--we even had time for dessert. we ordered so many items that she brought over an extra table--we shared everything family style. Most Yelp reviews only mention brunch but the dinner was awesome--service; food: taste/quality, presentation, portions, prices we phenomenally low for SF ($200 with a bottle of wine for 4 people). We started with the garlic butter clams-small but tasty. Tuna tartar was excellent quality and enough to share. Samosas were more like empanadas--very good with peanut sauce so good it rivaled my own home made. We continued our culinary adventure with crab fried rice-delicious, a large portion and my son who lives in SF and has tried dozens of crab fried rice ranked it in the top tier. The pacific catch rice noodles with crab was also excellent-big portion, lots of crab, tasty. Final entree was their specialty-Mussaman Curry. Wow, tender meat/potatoe "stew" with a very unique flavor from the star anise/cinnamon and peanut--to die for. Creme Brulee was very good with lots of fresh fruit accompaniment My only complaint was a very limited wine selection. Lapisaia will become one of our regular spots for dinner!!!

They had a nice crisp on the outside and were soft on the inside. I also got a regular coffee, and they do unlimited refills. The place was busy for brunch, and I liked the bear theme. Some of the coffees came in bear-shaped glasses, and some of the lattes had a decorative bear made out of ice.
