It was a nice day to be in Mission Bay Area as the sun was out after a few days of rain. I stopped by UCSF PCMB to visit my additional coworkers. We decided to go to lunch at Gott's Roadside. It is my "go-to" spot when I am near the Chase Center! I love their big menus, the "big wordings", colorful deco, and there are lots of seatings in the inside/outside. I always order my usual, the Cali chicken without red onions and Jack cheese. I find it more healthier than the gourmet burgers that they have on the menu. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. They take their time to explain their menu and special. Their all gender bathrooms are always clean and the communal handwashing station are outside of the bathrooms. If you're ever in the Mission Bay Area and thinking of a gourmet burgers and fries or want a quick bite before going to a Warriors game/concert at the Chase Center, don't forget to stop by Gott's Roadside! Gott's Roadside at Chase Center had a good reputation from Palo Alto, Walnut Creek, and Napa, so I figured the San Francisco location would deliver too, and it mostly did. It was a busy night with Maroon 5 in town, and the line was ridiculous, but it moved faster than expected. About 10 minutes to order, 15 minutes for the food to arrive, and then about 4 minutes to inhale it. Seating is basically long picnic benches and a free-for-all, but we managed to grab a spot. The regular cheeseburger was tasty and hit the spot; the chicken burger was just okay. My advice: don't try to be healthy here. You're at an arena, you're hungry, and the burger is the move. read more

Gott's before the Demi concert and let's just say every Gott's location I have been to never disappoints. Got my fav Ahi Tuna Tacos, Fried Brussels and a Blood Orange Hefeweizen. The line was pretty long but the service was super fast and the staff were friendly. They play great music, lots of Demi songs which was cool because her concert was that night. Well not very impressed with the health and safety training of their employees. Watched this one employee pickup small pieces of trash off the floor contaminating his gloves. Then he proceeded to touch everything like the milkshake dispenser, counters, cash register. He took the same pair of gloves on and off several times further contaminating everything. Regardless of how the food comes out I will never eat here ever again. If you eat at chase this is a potential food outbreak waiting to happen. Also they do nothing worth giving them a tip for. I liked this spot for spacious dining room and really nice kids menu. As for the food - all the burgers we ordered didn't disappoint. I asked for the bbq sauce replacement in the Western bacon blue ring and it tasted really fun with a spicy mayo! Our daughter absolutely loved their sweet potato fries and the milk was a lovely addition to the kids meal. Love that there's a Gott's at Thrive City! Fiancé and I stopped in for dinner for the warriors game and had a pleasant experience. Seating is nearly impossible it's always packed before a game. My tip if you're in a group, have one person order and the rest of the group look for people getting ready to leave to snag a spot. It can take a while! Ordered the Gruyère & Onion burger and the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings and fries. At first they gave us the wrong burgers with the correct sides, but once we mentioned the order was messed up they gladly fixed it right away. We got our correct burgers within minutes. Service was great. Burgers were juicy and flavorful, fries and onion rings were crispy just how I like them. Ordering wasn't a problem but finding a seat proved to be a bit difficult. There is a large seating area. But still lots of patrons before a game. Maybe this was a one-off experience, but I ordered Gott's Roadside for dinner via Doordash and was overall disappointed in my meal. I ordered a hamburger and onion rings. The patty in the hamburger was unfortunately very dry, and the burger was just... not memorable (both in terms of flavor and quality of ingredients). The onion rings were fine, but also not memorable. I am guessing my experience was a fluke based on how positive the other reviews are (and of course, food is never as fresh/good when you order delivery compared to eating it right away). It was super packed for nba all star weekend happening at the Chase Center, but the line to order at the restaurant moved quickly with efficient service at the register, friendly staff all smiles at the pickup counter, and just a 20-minute wait for my food. Not bad, considering how busy it was on Saturday. The place was loud and bustling, with customers cleaning off tables for themselves in order to secure seating, both indoors and outside. I was lucky to find seating that opened up at one of the community tables inside, so things worked out. Got the fearless frank with grilled onions (you can add multiple toppings and condiments at no extra cost), and the caramelized onions were sliced super thin, the hot dog plump and juicy, the bun grilled on the outside, it was delish! Very cool to have a Gott's right next to the Chase Center, as this was always a must-visit eatery when visiting Napa! Came here with a group of 4 before a Warriors game and it did not disappoint. Double Cheese Burger - 5/5 - Patties were thick, fresh, and juicy. All the fixings were also fresh, giving me the classic taste of what I expect from a burger. I didn't need a double, as it was so filling, but I'm not complaining! Cheese fries - 4/5 - serving is generous and the cheese sauce had a great savory and sharplike cheddar cheese flavor. Fries were a solid 3/5 but the sauce really added the flavor. Fries were standard - not bad but not amazing. Chili cheese dog - 5/5 - Wow! For something so simple, this was amazing. The dog itself reminded me of a beefier Costco chili dog. The chili tasted homemade. The cheese was shredded and just enough. The bread was an awesome soft, yet toasted sliced bread - reminded me of a brioche. If you're a hot dog lover - get this. Bacon Cheeseburger - 3.5/5 - my partner ordered this and said it was better than average, but not memorable. Onion Rings - 4/5 - crispy & beer battered, real onions. This was also a hit. They were still shaped like hockey pucks, and they tasted exactly the way they looked. It's honestly the worst burger I've ever had. I'm surprised by how many 5 star reviews there are. Menu is hard to see at the back of the line and when the line starts to move quickly it's hard to digest everything on the wall - would be nice if they had paper menus or a QR code to quickly peruse. We just ordered two salads but it was a wait! Maybe 15-20 mins? Chicken comes 3 ways: fried, cold or hot. We picked hot and it was good! Not rubbery at all, still juicy and tasted like real undoctored chicken - which is rare when dining out nowadays! Always seems pre-cooked or overly brined. Not here. The kale Caesar - perfectly dressed, not overly worked, seasoned well, a cool twist on parm - parm crisps/small discs - flavor, texture and kept me satiated all night. Love that they have organic PDX condiments and most of their serveware is compostable. Next time I will try a burger or maybe have them pop it on a salad perhaps?!
