Tried Quick Dog near Oracle Park in Mission Rock and really liked the location - plenty of both outdoor and indoor seating. The interior is sparkling new, with glossy red seats, several screens showing baseball and football, and a cozy bar setting. Even on a game day, it wasn't too crowded. I got the Mission hot dog, which had a nice spicy kick, but I felt it was missing fresh veggies or relish - something to make it a bit more refreshing and less heavy. My husband got the chicken deluxe sandwich, which looked super loaded -I'll probably try that one next time. Our daughter had the grilled cheese and loved it. Bonus: on Sundays they offer free soft serve for kids, which is almost worth coming for on its own.
Simple, quick, filling, all done well. Kale salad is a classic. Loved that the kale was finely shredded and had a heavy hand of parmesan, pumpkin seeds and avocado chunks. Was very refreshing. Will definitely be trying to replicate the dressing, though it is a dressing that makes you wonder how many calories the whole meal is. Paired with the wrap (+$1) added the perfect savory texture to the salad. Ordered the Market salad wrap (+$1) too and the kale salad definitely wins the battle. Had a fun mixture of greens and red cabbage and supposedly bacon bits. Felt more like a salad shoved into a wrap. The mini corn dogs were a nice addition with the something-dog sauce (can't remember the exact name, but would probably pass next time). Would've preferred a lighter sauce that took the edge off the already salty link. These were full-size hot dogs cut into bite-size pieces and deep fried. Service was quik (max 10-15min) :) with a self ordering kiosk and paired buzzers. Perfect booths for a nice casual sit down meal, though they were a bit surprisingly tight. Beautiful tall windows and tons of sunlight.
Super solid small little corner restaurant that is easy to miss! Good: - Pretty fast service - Super clean on the inside and it all feels quite modern - The kale salad wrap was so good! I feel like the portion size was perfect and it was really tasty and healthy feeling Bad: - There are super tiny seats for mini people in part of the restaurant and it's very uncomfortable to sit at Overall this place is really nice quick eat and catchup with a friend! I like that it's not super busy inside.
Popped in here for a last minute lunch date as I had been wanting to try. The atmosphere is old school which I liked. The service was great and staff were constantly clearing trash and wiping down tables. The food was good too! I got a mission hot dog and my date got a fried chicken sandwich. The hot dog was for sure better - I believe it was the mission dog (with jalapeño). I would definitely come back for that hot dog, and to try other things on the menu as well. 4.5/5 and rounding up to 5 for the service, speed, and convenience.
As a vehement hot dog appreciator, I was excited to try out quik dog when I heard that it had opened not far from where I live. I was blown away. The vibes in there are great. Combination of elevated diner and bar. Plus they have outdoor seating that gets great exposure to sunlight and oracle park views. The food was amazing as well. I was surprised and nervous when I saw that the burger I had ordered came in the format of a hot dog, but I absolutely loved it. The hot dog was next level as well - the bacon and onion were super nice additions that I typically wouldn't get at a normal hotdog stand. Excited to come back!
After the Giants game, my husband was still hungry. I was stuffed but I still had to try the hotdog he got. He ordered the Mission Dog. I'm not a big onion person so my husband picked them off for me. The rest was really good. It reminded me of the bacon hotdogs from the street vendors but cheesy. My husband was not a fan of the hot dog being sliced but I liked that it had an extra char. Im sure my husband will want to try another other when we come back for a game or event.
When the music sets the stage for everything else it helps secure that five star. Look around the back and you'll see the bar section and the bar manager makes his own infusions. Now comes the food - yumm! Ordered 4 different items between the 3 of us and all exceptional. Right across from Giants stadium swing by if you haven't been.
I was excited to check out Quik Dog, a more casual version of Trick Dog. I stopped by recently to pick-up their famous kale salad to bring into a Giants game. The location is short walk from Oracle Park. The place looks like a great one to hangout, grab some drinks and munch on one of their hot dog burgers. Service was quick and friendly, a good experience for my takeout order. I plan to go back soon to experience the dine-in version.
Great spot to get dinner before heading to Oracle Park. I got the crispy chicken sando, which came hot out of the fryer and had a delightfully tasty batter and crispy exterior. I also got an order of fries that were crispy on the outside yet fluffy on the inside. Wait time was maybe 10 minutes at most, but I could tell that they cooked everything to order which was much appreciated. The staff was very friendly and welcoming.
I was very impressed with both smash burger and fries. Burger tasty but not overwhelming and chunky fries are crispy and salty. Loved both Vibe is kitschy when slow, chaotic when busy. Excellent pre or post game spot, and great addition to Mission Rock.
Walking down Mission Bay ( not the Bay Area) in the city and county of San Francisco there are plenty of new places to eat by Oracle Park. There already plenty of places to eat by Chase Center. There is a place which has one of the most intriguing item on the menu. I first encountered it at the Olympic Club in San Francisco and then I saw they sold it inside the Chase Center . I first had it at Hot Dog Bills. I was surprised to see it reappear at a different restaurant but more dressed up. It's a cheeseburger in a hot dog bun. On a Winter stroll to a place which sells a cheeseburger dogs. Quik Dog feels like a franchise with mascot and all but it only has one location. I had to get the Quik Dog which had a meat patty on a hotdog bun with lettuce , pickles, doggy sauce, and it was a bit cheesy like some in SF. The combination of the doggy sauce and cheeseburger was delicious. The fries were crispy and fresh and dipping it into sauce complimented the whole meal. This is worth trying if you like to try a cheeseburger on a hotdog bun. They got the tasty crispy" fries "which "ties" between a hot dog bun with a cheeseburger "surprise" and it's a block away from Flour +Water where they serve one of the best pizza "pies" Go have a "Quik Dog "while you have a "dialogue"about your next food" blog "and talk about the weather in San Francisco which revolves around "Karl the Fog "
This is a nice, casual addition to the area for a meal before a Giants game. The portion size is fairly good. The fish & chips came with three pieces of fish, and the batter was crispy but not overly greasy. The order came with loads of fries which actually were very good. The fries had a nice crisp texture. Of the two, the fries stood out over the fish. The chicken sandwich was huge and very good. The milkshake was refreshing, but to me, it was kind of a lot ($9) for a medium-sized cup. Order at the counter and you're given a pager that will let you know when to pick-up your food. The wait wasn't too long on a game day.
We were visiting from Las Vegas and this restaurant was down the street from our hotel. We visited around 3pm on a Thursday and it was not busy at all. The service was phenomenal. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly faces. We had our toddler son with us and I had him on my lap. One of the workers came over and ask if we needed a high chair, which was so kind! The food was really good American fare - burgers, hot dogs, fries, and corn dogs. They also offer salads, fish & chips, and tacos. They also have a full bar (seperated from the restaurant). Plenty of seating - both tables and counter seating. 5 Stars, would recommend. Kid and family-friendly.

Quick casual burger and hot dog place with a bunch of TVs! Smashburger (8/10) - the double patties had a nice bite to it and were perfectly topped with Doggy sauce, pickles and lettuce! Would have liked the patties to be crispier read more

The smash burger and hot dog were really tasty! Order at the counter, get a number, and your order comes to you. The space was clean. Employees were helpful. There's also a bar area looked awesome, happy hour from weekday 4-6pm. Order the combo ($20) and mission dog ($13) All buns were hot dog shaped. The smash burger had really great flavor, not too char, and a lot of layers! Hot dog was juicy, I like the spicy kick. All the main entrees tasted fresh and delicious. The one dislike was the fry. The fries were a quite hard, so I would skip on that. Overall, needs improvement on fries. Another feedback is to move or add another water station since that was somewhat hidden. read more

My kids and I passed by on a Thursday afternoon and had lunch here. We ordered a cheese sandwich, tomato soup, cheeseburger and fries. My kids loved the cheese sandwich and tomato soup. I enjoyed the burger and fries. The service is friendly and quick. It's in a beautiful location in Mission Bay. It's a great place to grab a bite before a game or for lunch if you're in the area. read more
Huge Bay windows and a friendly vibe. This is a mix of fast food restaurant with cocktails & beer. Super close to the Giants baseball stadium too, which makes it a good stop for pregame/post game eats and libations. Another plus is its proximity to China basin Park with its outstanding views. Get your food to go and find a patch of sunlight. read more

Hey Brian,…
Fun spot! Big clean space with an easy menu and food was pretty good. Retro hot dog joint vibes but also with a modern touch. There is also a bar inside in a separate room. We tried the mission dog, nuggets and fries. Solid lunch while walking thru the area. Location is nice! Service was also friendly. We forgot to order water and didn't see a spot to grab some but an employee happily brought some over to us without us asking which was a nice and appreciated touch. read more

The service was average. The Beyond Burger was undercooked and mushy, but it was a generous portion. The Baja Fish Tacos were also pretty big but tasted fairly average and could have been crispier. The garlic fries kind of all glommed together because of the parmesan cheese, which may be good if you like that kind of texture. The interior of the restaurant is colorful, but seating is hard and uncomfortable. They were out of the item I wanted to try, which was the QD Veggie Dog. read more
Stopped in bc I was craving the kale salad. It wasn't busy when I arrived and ordered right away. Plenty of seating with a large space inside. There's a good variety of menu items and drinks. Salad was delicious and love that it's not overly dressed or soggy. The chicken was tender and juicy but felt like a small portion for the price. read more

Might be my new favorite burger joint. I should say though, I haven't tried a burger from here yet. My wife and I stopped by for a quick snack between meals. We decided on a hot dog, and the person behind the counter said that they could cut it in half for us. It was nice of her to offer. There was plenty of seating inside, and everything looked clean. It's a newly renovated space, set up with TVs to watch the game. We took a cozy, two-person booth. While we were waiting, a staff member came by to give us water and he also checked in other diners. The Mission Dog that we got was a decent size and tasty. I usually don't like bacon in hot dogs or burgers, but this one worked well with the beef sausage. The sautéed onion and jalapeño spread added a sweet, savory, and spicy mix to every bite. The prime location, friendly staff, and clean interior make it very easy for me to say that we'll be back. And next time, I plan to try a burger with a full meal. read more

Stopped by QuickDog with my daughter before the Giants game and it did not disappoint. We split the Mission Dog and the Smash Burger - the Mission Dog is hands down the best dog I've had in the Bay Area, and the Smash Burger blew us away too. Hannah took care of us up front and her energy was awesome .. genuinely friendly, welcoming service. The whole spot had great vibes and was spotless clean. Music was fire too, good energy all around. Perfect pre-game stop, will be back! read more

A fun new place near the ballpark lots of great drink and cocktail options to pair with the famous kale salad and various sandwich options. Clean and quick and friendly space. order at the counter, but the wait staff was very friendly and delivered our entrées and even gave us a bonus birthday soft serve ice cream with sprinkles and a little candle. We tried the spritz drinks, kale salad, mission, dog, Smashburger and fried chicken sandwich, and of course had to throw in some french fries, plain and garlic with Parmesan. Everything was tasty and fun to sample a variety. Great option for families, including the kids menu. read more
Although the service is friendly, the food is pretty expensive. Fries don't come with burgers and cost $8 just for the plain. I've tried their smashburger, normal burger, kale salad, hot dog, fries, and garlic fries. The best things are the plain fries and hot dog. The garlic fries get soggy and aren't garlicky enough. The hot dog tastes pretty standard, but the piece of bacon that comes with it is done well. Kale salad was alright, but the chicken add-on was pretty dry.I guess this is just the price of things now when you go out to eat, but they should think about doing a combo with burgers and fries because I hesitate to order each item individually. read more
I was so excited for this standalone to the uber-popular Trick Dog bar. But it's a gimmick with very little more to it. The gimmick is burgers shaped like hot dogs, which does make it easier to eat while walking, but doesn't add anything to the flavor. The meat is good, which is reflected in the price. I also went to the nuggets, which were too breaded for me and needed extra sauce. What I appreciated was the good service, the cute location, and the menu with clear details on allergens. But I don't need to come back even though I'm glad i tried it and got it out of my system. read more
Pretty decent hot dog shaped burger. What lost a star for me was the price. Expecting more flavor from the beef itself and maybe even a little bit more given that it cost $14 to get the thing but it just tasted like a Big Mac to me...which is cheaper. Garlic fries were bomb so you should definitely try those if you're into garlic! The quantity could've been bigger given that it was legit $10 for maybe 2 cups of fries so not a good value. QD got four stars because of the taste of the fries were that impressive and crunchy. Overall, too pricey for a regular lunch joint but if you're on the rush for lunch, they don't take long to cook your food. read more

Delicious, crispy and hot fries! Burger was juicy and flavorful, personally I would add a third patty. The Mitchell's ice cream shake was thick and delicious. Service was fast and friendly. Very clean inside and outside. Love all the monitors playing all the sports games. Great addition to Mission Bay / Mission Rock SF. read more

When I heard trick dog was opening a hot dog joint I was so excited as a long time lover of the bar - this is mainly a review of the famous kale salad but as a well known salad hater this is the only salad I will set aside my differences for. I don't know what they put in it but I could eat it everyday all day. If you have to order one thing, you CANNOT go wrong with the kale salad. Famous for a reason. read more
