If you are entering Oracle Park from the marina side, this is the last stop before entering the game. They have a sign that says hot dog and a beer for $10. I went in, it's actually $12. Menu says $7 for a hot dog, so the ultra or Tecate that comes with it is $5. The hot dog was delicious, split Frank that came off the grill, on a real sandwich roll. Condiments outside, with plenty of outdoor seating. A beer in ballpark is $19. This place is a no brainer. Shot of patron was $22, so not a great deal there. Great service, dive bar on Embarcadero vibe.

Frankie's Java House is a cool spot overall and a decent place to stop in if you're in the area. The space has a relaxed, casual vibe that works well for grabbing food, hanging out, or just taking a break with a drink. It feels like it has a lot of potential as a neighborhood go-to. The food was good for the most part. One small note, the fries were pretty heavy on the salt and could definitely use a lighter hand there. Aside from that, everything was enjoyable and well prepared, and nothing felt like a miss. They offer a wide variety of food options, which is nice if you're with a group or have different preferences. There's also a solid selection of drink options, making it easy to find something whether you're in the mood for coffee, something refreshing, or a casual bite and sip. Service is where this place could improve. The staff weren't rude, but they also weren't very welcoming or talkative. A bit more friendliness and engagement would go a long way in making the experience feel warmer and more inviting.

This place is great! The fish tacos are indeed as delicious as everyone says, and my partner got the cheeseburger and it was super good - tons of melted cheese, onions, crunchy pickles, etc on crisp and juicy smashburger patties. The drinks are also great and it's a place that makes you just want to hang out ordering cocktails, eating fries, and basking in the sun. Inside at the bar there's a nice TV to watch sports and a gorgeous view of the sailboats passing by on the bay, and the patio looks out on Embarcadero and gets so warm on a sunny day. The bartender when we visited was also really friendly and our food and drinks came out really fast. The vibes were just awesome when we visited on a sunny Saturday, there were out of towners hanging out at the bar, other locals chilling near us on the patio, and a group of 20 somethings starting an afternoon of getting plastered. Perfect. My partner and I have lived in the city for years but just ate here for the first time recently and we're sure to be regulars now. Frankie's deserves some more stars on yelp cause this place rocks!

Great (like REALLY great) burger -- maybe even one of the best in SF!! If you're a fan of In-n-Out burger, then you'll love the smash burger. It's got a thousand island sauce reminiscent of the fast food chain, but elevated with caramelized onions, fresh pickles, double smashed patties, and a soft brioche bun. I'm a BIG fan of bread and butter pickles and was pleasantly surprised by their addition in the burger -- but if you don't like the flavor of them, make sure to order yours without. The fries were good, though nothing particularly special. The tables all had mustard, ketchup, and hot sauce, so if you're a fellow saucy guy like myself you can add to your heart's content! The service was really great. We ordered two burgers but only one came out -- after about 10 minutes of waiting, we told the bartender and he realized he never put the other one in (and hadn't charged us for it on our order). He was very apologetic and quickly brought us the second one, on the house! It was an honest mistake, and he made sure to make it right. They clearly value their customers here, and we appreciate that!! The vibe here is no-frills but is really clean with a bit of a 50's diner feel. There were lots of diners on their way to the Giants game (as we were walking over to Frankie's, we heard a mom in a Giants jersey telling her family how good Frankie's was and how close they were to the restaurant. They arrived just after us!) You can expect the food to come out quickly and the beer to be cold. Let's go Giants!!!

If there were 10 stars, I'd give them all. Frankie's is a special place of good food, good drinks, and good company. It's a place of healing with vibes as good as the music they play. It takes me back to simpler times. Times we all need right now. And Frankie's literally is healing me as I deal with a gut issue that's been ravaging my system. This is a place that gives back. If you can spare some time when there's not a game, I recommend a visit. Listen to the music and listen to the water. It'll make you remember that not all is lost. With Love - Jason

I wasn't in an all fired hurry to try Frankie Heffernan's makeover of this longtime waterfront favorite because frankly I was devoted to the original greasy spoon run by the Papadopoulos family. But hey, it's been a couple of years since the change in ownership, and I was thirsty as I was strolling around the ballpark on a Thursday afternoon. Imagine my delight to see a Pimm's Cup on the menu under the Boozy Drinks section. For $12, the bartender filled a plastic cup with Pimm's No. 1 (a gin-based digestif if you didn't know) and ginger beer with lemon, strawberries, and mint (photo: https://bit.ly/3VayeC4). While the empty bar was inviting, I took it to one of the remaining patio tables where I stared longingly at the boat marina. COCKTAIL - 4 stars...an unexpected Pimm's Cup well mixed AMBIANCE - 4 stars...still a small place but spruced up SERVICE - 4 stars...solid bartender TOTAL - 4 stars...welcome Frankie! Wow. I'm very aware we ended up here in a special scenario (right at opening while their Bartender worked on new drink options) this wouldn't be the normal setting for most patrons I am sure. But was an awesome visit. I was almost bummed we had a stadium tour we had to attend and couldnt stay longer. Eugene was a fantastic bartender. Personable and skilled!

Walking distance from us so we stopped by here after our morning walk. Parking is a challenge around this area so plan accordingly! It is a cute little place next to the ball park with bay bridge views and of FiDi so sit outside and enjoy its views on either a sunny or cloudy day (: Service: Quick and attentive. Food came out quickly and the servers were friendly. Food: Clam chowder - 10/10. Creamy and delicious. Lots of clams served as well. A bowl is more than enough for 2. Sunrise sandwich- Perfect serving for one. Bread was toasted nicely, and all the ingredients were fresh. Fries were a hit as well-- neither too salty nor blend. Although I must admit the prices were pretty high but what can you expect from this area of SF?

Friendly, great banter, helpful throughout the escape. The escape game is split across multiple rooms with a good diversity of puzzles. Don't want to spoil too much here but they were good challenges. Drinks we incorporated throughout and presented like test tubes that were drinkable in a gulp, kind of like a cocktail shot. Personally, I found the first two drinks to be a bit too sweet, but I liked the third, which was coconut forward. The price is definitely a bit more costly. It was $100/person for a party of five. I understand that it was an escape room + the staff + the cocktails. If you max out the party size, it's about $85-ish per person which I think is pretty solid. Still very unique and fun and glad I got to try it

The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good!
