First impression - we had a reservation at 6:30pm to celebrate a birthday, and the host offered to have us sit at a "better" table but we'd need to be out of there by 7:45pm. We didn't want to feel rushed, so we asked for our original table since we had a reservation for a month. We had a party of 6, and they asked right when we sat down if we were ready to order, but we needed a little more time. The server didn't come back for another 25 minutes, and even 2 people next to us were getting frustrated because we all wanted to order. When they brought our drinks, they missed one of them so we had to remind them and wait 15 more minutes for that one drink to come. We also ordered food (which was pretty delicious) but, again, forgot one of the orders of another person in our party. We spent a lot of time waiting, so I can't imagine if we took the "nicer" table but had to be out of there in an hour and 15 min. Beautiful view and cute interior, although very dusty-- we could see the dust floating around and were all over our drinks. Lastly, they were rushing to get us out of there because they wanted to seat other people even though we hadn't been there very long. The best part of the place was the view and cute decor, but the rest left us disappointed. There are many other cleaner, nicer rooftop bars to go to in SF.

Visited Starlite for a Sunday evening casual DJ event. This cocktail bar offers amazing live music options that are impressive, enjoyable, and create a lively environment. I decided to try a Tom Collin's cocktail and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were busy, but made it a priority to deliver cocktails and food as quickly as possible to their tables! The tacos were delicious, but a bit spicier for someone with a sensitive spice palate. However, my favorite part about this establishment is the beautiful rooftop view overlooking San Francisco. Fortunately, we were able to view during sunset. I highly recommend visiting this cocktail bar for a cute date night, outing with friends or coworkers, or even a solo night!

Private Event Starlite Review: This review is from a private event perspectiv only. Securing the space: communication throughout the process was great, and 1-2 weeks before the manager reached out to confirm our menu selections. Our party was for 10 people. A bit of heads up for the onsite process would have been appreciated, as the manager I had been communicating with was not there. Another manager stepped in though, and was informed of the event and executed it without incident. Service: We had an excellent service, Ivan, was there to help our guests with drinks and they arrived, and he was very accommodating to non-alcoholic guests. Food: amazing food, fired up when we were ready to eat and it just kept coming until we were full. Space: we secured a private space with a fantastic view of the city and bay, plenty of seating for side bar conversations or group conversations.

    Cable Car Redux $22

20% service charge added to all checks. 4/5: Cable Car Redux $22. The glass is completely coated with cinnamon, and they pour CO2 fog into the glass. Quite a presentation. But it's too sweet. I poured about 1/2 oz of water into the drink and it was better. Don Q 7, Mommenpop blood orange liqueur, lemon juice, chinese 5 spice, gold and cinnamon sugar spice rim, karl the fog. 4/5: Tulip martini $16. It's served in a super-unique cocktail glass. It's too dry. I added 1/4 oz of maple syrup (I bring a tiny jar with me at all times) and it was much improved. Strawberry infused gin, Manzanilla sherry, Mommenpop lime liqueur, cocchi Americano Rosa. 4/5: The glazed donut $8 was quite good. The bartender Ramon was great.

The drinks and the view at Starlite are worth it. Vibey little lounge perfect for a date night.

Came here for a company party. They booked the entire establishment for the night. Felt like the vip treatment. The security was tight so we felt very safe cutting loose. The staff were all super helpful and brought plenty of delicious food. The drinks were spectacular. I always love rooftop viewings. My only complaint is that the place got pretty hot because of so many people at the venue. Def worth coming to starlite for your events or dates

Came here for a girls night out and this was the ultimate luxury rooftop! We ordered the Pornstar Martinis which had a beautiful luster in them and tasted exquisite! Service was amazing and constantly circled around as we enjoyed the views!!

One of the most stunning views from a bar in SF! This is located at the top of the Beacon Grand Hotel, and it was full of people on a Friday night. I just walked in and they let us wait and roam the lounge while we waited ~20 min for a seat to open up. But boy was it worth it. When we sat down, we got to watch the sun set and it was lovely. The drinks on their menu are pretty interesting too! We got an espresso martini and cable car redux (eith the salted cinnamon sugar rim, rum, and a touch of fog coming from its interior!). Both drinks were strong and bold, and we enjoyed them. Service was rather slow but they were indeed super busy. Would love to stop by again.

What we ordered: * strawberry grasshopper * cider * fries [Taste: ] * hard to discern because the drinks are always a bit inconsistent, for example for my drink tastes different than my friend's (although we ordered the same thing). Good beer selection. I would say the cocktails are good & pretty standard but could be better for an upscale establishment. Bar food was pleasantly surprising! [Service: ] Nice staff every time I go! Didn't appreciate that they asked us for our credit card beforehand but nobody else around us... [Comments: ] An ambiance you cannot pass up. Love going in the winter for the cozy views of union square. [Bathroom: ] good

Been a while since I visited Starlite, but I came here for a round of drinks to celebrate a friend's birthday. I liked the overall ambience of the interior. It's got a classy/dark vibe, and the drinks are solid although a bit on the pricey end for SF. I'm not a huge fan of the location, but it is what it is, and if you like hanging in Union Square, then this is the spot for you.

Oh, Starlite... where do I even start? I had such a great time at this rooftop bar! The ambiance was perfect, the drinks were delicious, and the appetizers were all so good. On top of that, our server was incredibly attentive and really took care of us. Can't wait to come back!

Starlite Lounge is such a great spot and absolutely worth coming to. Huge thank you to Ramon and Matt who were amazing bartenders and made our Sunday evening even better. They were friendly, attentive, and truly made us feel welcome from the start. I really appreciated that they asked about our allergies and also took the time to ask what flavors we enjoy, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal. The espresso martini was incredible and easily one of the best I have had in SF. The service was excellent and the vibe was fun and relaxed. Ramon recommend to order a Cable Car Redux next and wow, the presentation alone was a show, and the drink itself was just as amazing. If you are looking for a place with great drinks and great people, this is it. I will absolutely be back.

Delicious drinks, delicious vibes! Every interaction I had here was top notch. I recommend the pisco punch and espresso martini and I'm excited to try more next time.
