The vibe of left door is really nice inside. There's sit down tables and also a bar area. The service is really good here. I wish the vegetarian options for food were better. I tried the mushroom pate and did not like it. The flavor and consistency was not great. The charcuterie cheeses were good but the bread did not go with it very well. Appreciate the attentive staff, great drinks in a cozy living room setting with dim lighting as speakeasies are. It's Halloween so the decor is cobwebs. Came for an event and we tried the wine, Gin and Tonic, bourbon old fashioned and I asked for a mezcal drink without grapefruit (contained pineapple which was refreshing) and it was balanced well. Drinks served in nice drink appropriate glasses that made it fancy :) Food-wise we enjoyed the tuna tartare, steak sandwich, and their lobster and cheese sandwich/ tomato soup bites. read more

My friend was going crazy for their dirty martini. 4/5 The drinks and food were so stunning, however the samplers weren't so great: the chips and nuts tasted stale and the olives taste like a wet dirty mop 1/5. It is "hidden" off of Union street and has a secret feel that makes it even cooler. The service was fantastic -- friendly, attentive, and the team really knows their cocktails. The list of cocktails is limited, and I would definitely recommend making a reservation as we arrived at around 10PM on a Saturday night and it was already packed full. We ordered: + Ride the 45 [6/5] (would really recommend) + Mez Negroni [5/5] For the Ride the 45 [6/5]: You need to try this!!! There are just 3 cocktails in the city that I would go back to order again, and this is one of them. We were all so surprised by the savory mouthfeel of this cocktail. It tastes exactly like Tom Yum, but sweet and cold! For the Mez Negroni [5/5]: Presentation of this cocktail is truly beautiful. The taste of bitter vermouth is strong in this one! Our table space was quite cramped, with three small tables meant for two each being packed with 3-4 people. Service was friendly but they had ran out of the drinks we initially wanted to try! Come here for the live jazz on Sunday nights from 6:00 to 9:00 PM! It's a great time to listen to music with friends and enjoy a cocktail before the start of the week. There is an extensive cocktail menu and small bites. The cocktails have a lot interesting ingredients. There are also alcohol free drinks available. Its setup is speakeasy style. It may be hard to find the entrance it's located just above the bus stop bar. If the door is open you can walk right in or you'll have to ring the doorbell. A lot of care was clearly put into the interior design. You can sit in the lounge space or over at the bar. It is recommended to make a reservation ahead of time to secure a spot. My friends and I booked Sunday brunch here about a month in advance, back when it was still promoted online with sample menus. We were all traveling from across the Bay Area -- some over an hour away -- for this long-planned get-together. The morning of our reservation (September 2025), a friend noticed the restaurant had removed all Sunday brunch menus from its website. Concerned (especially since one of us has celiac disease), I emailed to confirm. Only 30 minutes before our reservation, as we were already en route, I got a call saying brunch was canceled because "equipment wasn't working." They claimed it broke the night before during a private party, yet somehow only realized they couldn't open that morning. Their "apology"? That they would --of course-- cancel our reservation so we wouldn't be charged a no-show fee. No warning, no help finding alternatives, and barely any remorse. For a group that planned ahead and traveled far, this was a deeply disappointing and unprofessional experience. read more

PROS: The interior was beautiful. On Sundays they have live jazz, which was enjoyable. The cocktails are good. CONS: When we were came there was literally one person working as host and waiter for all the guests. This meant that it took about 9 minutes before she acknowledged us and sat us down to a table, even though there was no one ahead of us, and another half hour before we got our drink. It was not her fault; she was trying her best, but she was set up for failure with the understaffing. The other issue is that their Sunday food menu is very limited, but it's not reflected on their website. We came thinking we would order food, but with the slow service and limited food options we had our one drinks and left to get dinner elsewhere. read more

I came here randomly after dinner with some friends and this might be the hottest new bar to hit the Marina. It feels like a members-only speakeasy because there are no signs out front. There's a bouncer in front of an unmarked door who lets you up the stairs after checking your ID. It's right above Bus Stop (same owners) When we finally came to the top of the steps, I was just in awe. It felt like one of those NYE members-only clubs because it was a small, cozy space, there was a live DJ, and the decor was giving sophisticated, stylish, old money vibes. Plus the food and drinks were expensive, which is appropriate for how cool of a space you're at. We ordered a bunch of drinks, and these are definitely more spirit-forward. I prefer a more sweet drink (I got The Bamboo with pandan tincture because the Filipino in me couldn't resist a good Pandan flavor), so next time I might go for a different drink. They apparently also have food here! They have high-end options like caviar and aged a5 wagyu bites, but also classic ones like a charcuterie board. We came from dinner, so we didn't order food, but next time I'd love to! Definitely make a reservation because we walked in and had to hover around until a lounge spot cleared up that wasn't reserved. My husband I and popped in one night and had such a wonderful time. We had Elliot at the bar help us with our delicious drinks. He chatted us up and it's one of our fav spots now. We really appreciate the ambiance and the designer wallpaper and decor. The neighborhood definitely needs this bar and we're so glad it's arrived. I'm impressed with the lights, seats, vibe and we had an astounding time. What a marvelous experience for a sweet date night with friends and loved ones. This appears to be a flat that was converted into a beautiful & stylish lounge. Seating areas feature low tables (coffee table height). Since the menu features a unique cocktail menu & small bites, the low tables were adequate. I perused the menu & the ingredients in the Milk Punch cocktail sounded really interesting. My friend had the Mez Negroni. Both cocktails were balanced & delicious. For our second order, I repeated the Milk Punch cocktail (because I really enjoyed the first one) & my friend ordered The Marg. We shared the lobster crudo which had a spicy kick from the Szechuan chili oil & the seasonal ceviche that was accompanied by crispy purple barley, which added a nice texture.
