This was such a cool place to dip into while we waited for a show at the Masonic down the road. It some great vibes with its open air ceiling, plants, and neat light fixtures. There was also a pool table and an upstairs lounge. The bar tenders were both friendly and made our drinks in short time, although the bar was not super busy when we got there on a weekday afternoon. The drinks themselves were all herbal and delicious. The Green Goddess and 24 Carrot were as eye catching as they were unique. I've never quite had anything like them, particularly the carrot! We visited Peacekeeper on Friday afternoon. The retractable roof was open so the venue was bright and airy. Cool music playing in the background and bartenders were very friendly. I tried the green goddess and the Banana-Rama. Both were amazing and while you can't really taste the alcohol, they are boozy! Can't wait to be back for those drinks and possibly try new ones. My friend and I were having dinner in the neighborhood and decided to check out Peacekeeper for a drink. We got there very early (around 7:30ish) and were able to get a table near the fireplace, which was nice and warm. The roof was completely retracted, and we could even see some stats! Despite the retracted roof, the fireplace kept us nice and warm. We ordered the Goddaughter and Desert Queen, and both drinks were delicious and reasonably priced! We sat and chatted for a long time, and after about an hour and a half, the bar started filling up with people. We left soon after, because the bar started to get really loud. If you'd prefer a quieter experience, I'd recommend getting to the bar on the earlier side to enjoy a nice drink before the space fills with people. I'd definitely be down to go back! read more

Stopped by Peacekeeper after some shopping this past Sunday to grab a couple drinks before the 49ers game, and as always, a really good experience and one of my favorite bars in the city. Sunday is when the bar dog Tabasco the golden retriever is there, but unfortunately he wasn't there :/ I've been coming to Peacekeeper for many years now, and it's always that bar that I'll take out of town friends to or for a quick drink before/after dinner because the cocktails here are really good. They have a pretty diverse cocktail menu, but I always go for the Peacekeeper drink which is made with serranos, tequila, ginger, and pineapple. You get none of the alcohol taste which is masked by the spiciness of the serrano pepper, and it just hits the spot every time. I've had a bunch of their other drinks over the years, but I always go back to the same one. I like what I like lol. Prices are reasonable for SF standards, but I think the quality and flavor make it worth splurging on a few cocktails. The space inside is beautiful. The retractable roof is the highlight, so if you are coming mid-day, it's definitely less busy, and service is quick. They have plenty of seating on the lower and upper level, along with the parklet outside of the bar. Great spot to grab drinks with a group of friends or on a date. They also have a couple of TVs in the main bar area if you are looking to catch a local sports game. read more

Love love love this bar. Mainly for how beautiful it is haha. I have passed by this bar for many years and have always seen how packed it is on weekends and nights but haven't had a chance to stop by until recently. Omg, this is one of my new favorite bars. I'm actually upset that after visiting San Fran a few times, this was my first visit. But we had such a great time we stopped by twice in our one night stay. Firstly, it's a beautiful and open atmosphere with a roof that opens up during the day. So magical. Secondly, The drinks are incredible, well balanced and thoughtful. Lastly, the staff are incredible. Our first night it was packed and the bartenders were very intentional to make sure that we were served promptly. I was very impressed with that. If I could give this place six stars I would. We hosted a baby shower here and used the loft area. The staff was simply amazing. They worked with us to create a fun and festive event with a great vibe and wonderful cocktails. Our waitress was fabulous, and the bartender was simply amazing, whipping out delicious drinks left, and right. Their mocktails were also yummy! If you're looking for a place to hang out, peacemaker is excellent. They have a pool table and an open concept roof when the weather is gorgeous like today. And when the weather is cold or rainy, they can close the ceiling up. The decor is rustic and trendy. The music is fun. And did I mention the drinks, I tried three different cocktails and they were all delicious. And parking wasn't really that difficult. Everyone who came to the party was able to find street parking or lot parking nearby. I highly recommend this place and when I get some photos, I'll add them to this post. read more

A beautiful Nob Hill bar -- the vibe is more moody and busy at night. Seating is tough, but lots of standing space to mingle and grab drinks. Love the fireplace, kept it cozy! I tried the Green Goddess and Peacekeeper. The green goddess was a tart, citrusy and strong drink. I didn't taste the matcha at all, it was more citrus. The peacekeeper was my favorite -- it was spicy, gingery and loved the sweetness of the pineapple to balance the flavors. Would recommend this! Overall, a great vibe and stop if you're bar-hopping in Nob Hill. I do want to come back earlier in the day to enjoy the beautiful plant decor. read more

Not only was the vibe more rowdy than previous visits, the drink was not well made. There was only one bartender, so it understandably took a while to put in an order. After patiently waiting then ordering, it was evident the bartender forgot our drinks. After a while, she asked us what we were waiting for, we reminded her of our order & then she threw our drinks together so fast that one was 2/3 filled. When we arrived, all of the tables were taken but we were able to snag 3 seats at the bar (and later relocate to a corner table that could fit 4 when someone left and another friend joined us). There's a small menu of different drinks, but enough variety that everyone in your group should be satisfied. All the drinks we got were good, but specific standouts to me were the the La Copa Verde (delicious but only if you like cilantro, which I do) and the Green Goddess (a hint of sweetness and the touch of matcha flavor was a prime combo). I stopped by Peacekeeper in the afternoon and honestly, it was such a vibe. As soon as I walked in, I felt this calm, earthy energy. The space is open and airy but still warm, with natural wood and stone everywhere. It just feels good. Like clean, elevated, but not trying too hard. It wasn't crowded when I went, but it didn't feel empty either. Just peaceful. The kind of place where you can actually relax and enjoy a drink without a bunch of noise or chaos. Everyone working there was really nice too. Chill, welcoming, no weird energy. It's one of those spots I can see myself coming back to. Maybe next time in the evening to see how the mood shifts.
