Such a fun spot - highly recommend! Came in on Saturday before a concert at Chase and it was busy but not so busy that you couldn't find a seat/have a conversation. The bar team is supper attentive and makes great drinks! My husband throughly enjoyed the rail bar shot combo and loved the sriracha beef jerky. They have a good list of cocktails and I really enjoyed the strawberry one. Particular shout out to Regina for all the wonderful drinks but also a very good vodka martini!!! Would come back for event days at Chase or just for fun!

We stopped here for an after-dinner drink and jerky one night. Since it was still pretty early, the bar was only about 1/3 full. Looking through the drink menu, I had to get the Pawloma since proceeds from this cocktail goes towards Muttville Senior Dog Rescue. Our orders were placed at the bar and the drinks were made quickly. Jerky was brought out fast too. The vibe is chill and there were two people and their dog enjoying drinks inside. Wish we had more time to spend there but will just need to venture back sometime in the near future.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. It wasn't crowded at all. The bartender was friendly and answered all our questions about the drinks. I had the Yuzu Cute and my boyfriend had the Strawberry Blonde. Both drinks were dangerously delicious. They both had a nice fruity citrus taste.

Such a hidden gem!!! We randomly walked in because we wanted to grab drinks before dinner. They offer what they call a rail shot which is a shot, a beer, and a sample of their jerky. For $13 you can't beat this deal!! The jerky was really good. The beer selection is small but features a lot of local breweries. Staff was really chill and friendly. Would definitely come back!!

Small intimate bar in the Dog Patch that offers cocktails, wine and local beer. They also offer a variety of jerky to accompany your drink. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and fast. I like the beer, shot and jerky pairing for $13. A fun pit stop if you're in the area.

It was a cute lil bar! Perfect for a date night! We ordered at the bar and sat down at a 2-seater. The person taking our order appeared to be the bar back. He was very friendly, answered all our questions and provided a taster of a liqueur I didn't know. I'd like to comment that the bartended appeared like she didn't want to be there was probably having a bad night. She was just going through the motions. Thankful for the bar back. He delivered our drinks to our table. I ordered Evil Twin, fruity and citrusy. Bf ordered an IPA. We ordered Red Eye jerky, coffee and spicy flavors. Very good. We'd definitely go back to try other drinks.

Small bar but quite laid back. Very little amount of seats and more standing space. I enjoyed the cocktails a lot (fruity and yummy). Probably a good location if you want to pregame before going to an event at the Chase Center. However, after the game / event, this venue is pretty packed.

Third Rail is a nice chill bar in the Dogpatch. My party of 4 came by Saturday night around 9:30 pm and it wasn't crowded at all. We were able to snag seats. Metered street parking also wasn't hard to find nearby, though it was paid until 10 pm. They have a special called the Rail Shot, which comes with a beer on tap + shot + jerky for only $12. We didn't get it, though I saw plenty of others ordering it. All cocktails run $14, and they have beer and wine as well. I tried two cocktails, the Electric Feel and the Butter be Good. The Electric Feel was my favorite of the two, as it was a sweeter drink. The Butter Be Good was quite strong and I had to slowly sip it. My vegetarian friend tried the mushroom jerky and we both didn't like it. I'd come back again if I'm in the area and looking for a chill spot to hang.

I was craving a refreshing craft cocktail and got one with the Green Emmanuelle. I liked the cardamom in the Beauty Mark as well that my partner ordered. We ordered shishito peppers and mushroom bahn mi sliders. The mushroom bahn mi sliders were amazing - the quality fillings and taste of the soft bun - I was unexpectedly hit with a bite of spice from maybe jalapeño seeds left but didn't sour my experience. The shishito peppers ended up being extremely spicy as well, those are usually just a few spicy and not the majority. The roasted lemon and salt was a wonderful combo but just too spicy to eat. However, the server very kindly removed it from our bill without us asking. We order the crostini because we were still hungry and that was an absolute hit. Delicious med-soft crostini with luscious berries and sweet honey. I didn't care my hands got sticky as it was soooo good! Great experience, I would be weary if the peppers as I'm a bit spice-intolerant but everything else was spot-on.

I'm personally over (and too old) dealing with sloppy drunks spilling drinks on you, getting pushed around in a crowd or end up in a middle of a brawl Blind Pig is that perfect spot, well at least on a weeknight: chill, low-key, and moody. D R I N K S * Hot & Sour: Tanqueray Gin w/ Iichiko shochu, aloe, rose, hot pot paste, basil, citrus, peychaud's ($18 x2) The sichuan hot pot inspired cocktail was silky smooth from the milk-washed gin, nicely balanced - sweet (but not too sweet) and sour with a subtle málà numbing spice. Stiff yet easy to drink. The manager/bartender, Leo was awesome with great hospitality. Background lounge-y music is not too loud so you can yap and catch-up with friends. I think in many ways, Blind Pig just fell a little flat. I would like to say that the service here was amazing. A bartender who sat with you to talk about the menu, the process, and your experience very passionately and intently.  However, I think that the bar program is a little unrefined. Every drink had 10,000 ingredients, and most of them did not work together. If the drink did work together, you just tasted nothing because everything blended together and you couldn't taste any special or fun ingredients.  Unfortunately, I don't think this spot is worth looking for.

Seeing that it was named one of the top 50 best bars in North American, we had to check it out! We came in a Thursday night in mid-April about 9:45 PM. They have security outside thar checks IDs & also manages the queue in case the bar gets too crowded. We had no issues getting in, but there were zero indoor seats available - both the bar & table seating. Thankfully, they have a really cozy & well-lit patio area. The waitress let us know that even the outdoor patio has table-side service, so we made ourselves comfortable on the outdoor bench & within seconds she had brought us waters & cocktail menus. Weather outside was really nice, so I'm glad we actually sat outside. Each cocktail is $20, which definitely is a little steep, but I think the creativity, quality, & prestige of being named a top 50 bar supports the price. Each part of the menu is organized by liquor ie whiskey, vodka, brandy, gin, etc. We tried 4 drinks total. I only took menu photos of the pages we ordered from but they have a lot more selections. We ordered the Kung Fu Pandan, Silky Street, Rice Rice Baby, & Tropical Gangsta. We had some favorites over others, but all were very well crafted! The drinks came out pretty quickly considering how busy it was. The only hiccup was our final drink took quite a while. Turns out the ticket machine malfunctioned & deleted orders put in & caused a back-up. The waitress was so apologetic & ended up comp-ing 2 drinks, which she definitely didn't have to but it speaks volumes to the high standards they hold themselves to & their customer service. Overall, highly highly recommend checking this place out for a fun night out or post-dinner treat! Glad we made the decision to stop in!

I took my two friends here for a birthday celebration, and it was so magnificent.  It looks very unassuming from the host stand, but you are transported into a beautiful dining area as you are ushered in. The oysters, uni amaebi donburi (Sea Urchin & Raw Shrimp Rice Bowl), Tom Kha Ceviche, and the chicken egg salad sandwich. The bites were truly so decadent, balanced, and well-executed. The oysters were fresh, plump, and perfectly topped with sweet and citrusy flavors. The bite of the night was the uni amaebi bowl. They load you up on sea urchin, shrimp, and roe. It is bursting with flavor, and paired with PERFECTLY COOKED RICE.  The drinks were also amazing! I got the matcha cocktail and the espresso martini. I mean... phenomenal. Everyone wants to do a matcha cocktail, but I don't think a single bar program is going to put one out as perfect as Shoji's. It's delicate and earthy, and the perfect drink to pair with their menu.  Dessert was also good! Tea-based affogatos. They're fun. Ugh, I want to live in SF just so I can frequent Shoji.
