I ate here again for the first time in a couple years and was a much bigger fan this time around. I got the monthly special chicken Parmesan sandwich and it was great! The sandwich was massive and kinda hard to eat, but overall it met all my expectations. I do think their fries and some of the other items are a bit bland, but the sandwich was a standout to me. I will also say the soft serve deserves a review of its own - this is some of the best soft serve I've ever had and I truly get it almost any time I go to the ferry building. It really is so good

Food is an excellent value for the area. $35 for my husband and I to get burgers and a fry. (I got a double cheese burger and he got a hamburger). Bun was an excellent brioche with tons of cheese. I loved the pickles and sauce. I'd prefer a medium rare but understand medium is the go-to in a fast food setting. This IS fast food but elevated by the quality. Easy outdoor seating with a water station perfect for the walking we do along the Piers. Four stars because the patio is open and on the sidewalk so it's got an odor that isn't pleasant. We went inside to eat but the patio would be good for having a cold beer and people watching. Service is adequate for a quick burger spot.

THE HOT SAUCE was peak! Dropped by for lunch on Tuesday. The line was short and moved fairly quickly despite the peak lunch hours. What we got: - Chicken Schnitzel ~ Very photogenic. Huge piece of fried chicken breast. Beautiful and colorful, but lacked flavor. Although the generous amount of Arugula was a plus, it overpowered the burger. I ended up eating that first to get my veggies in. The pickled turnips/radish added nothing but color. Halfway through, the burger felt dry and flavorless. The hot sauce came to the rescue! - Western Bacon Blue Ring ~ Solid burger. Juicy burger. Bbq sauce added the perfect tang to balance the blue cheese. Crispy onion rings were a great touch! - Onion Rings ~ MASSIVE. Crunchy on the outside, well-battered rings on the inside. One of the rings was three rings coated and stuck together, which was a decent surprise! - Chili ~ Decent. Very cheesy. All in all, a solid place. But the hot sauce was a gem! Perfect for onion ring dipping or burger drenching!

Good spot for an easy lunch in the Ferry Building area. * Staff at register was unfriendly but took our order quickly. * Kitchen had our orders out quickly & were glad to have beat the weekday lunch rush. Queue was out the door by 12ish * Salad was tasty - I enjoyed it most for all the flavors except the falafel (can be dry).

Although I'm not a hamburger person, Gott's really impressed me with their Gruyere & Caramelized Onion Burger. Not only was the patty cooked medium rare without telling them, but the hamburger did not fall apart while I was eating it. Moreover, there is a special ketchup packets that you can season your hamburger with.

On a recent trip to San Francisco, after a beautiful ride on the Vallejo Ferry I found myself a little hungry so I decided to stop by Gott's Roadside for a quick lunch. This is the kind of place where u walk up to the counter and order off of a menu on the wall-Today after looking over the really good menu,I went with the Green Chile Cheeseburger ($10.99) & Garlic Fries ($3.99). The cheeseburger was very good-super tasty-solid value-pretty spicy-it had Anaheim Chile, jack cheese, jalapeño mayo-I liked it quite a bit-I would order it again for sure. The Garlic fries were well made, they were doused in some serious garlic butter-very tasty. This place features a pretty extensive beer and wine menu, though we didn't get to indulge on that part of the menu on this trip-good to know they had solid options available.I also noticed that they offered a pretty good shake and soft serve menu-which I also didn't partake in,but I'm sure I would've enjoyed it. In closing-if u ever find yourself in San Francisco near the Ferry Building and looking for a solid spot for a good lunch-I would fully recommend Gott's Roadside-good eats and a fun lively environment-what more can you ask for.

Chicken tenders, tuna, burger, and garlic fries

A fun stop at the ferry building. We ordered the chicken tenders, garlic fries, and tuna burger. The breading on the chicken tenders is super crispy with Panko crumbs and a garlic fries had actual garlic oil on them. It's a great stop for some quick food. If you're in the area, I'll try it.

Solid burger and fries. The chefs had the cooking flame way too high and it was burning the hanging receipts. I was worked about the chemicals that were released in the air. Service was good. Staff was already, slightly strange for tell me they wanted to smoke weed at the moment after smelling it outside.

I should mention that there were three chicken straps and a lot more fries. Clearly I ate some before I took the photo.

Yummy food in a very busy location. The atmosphere is loud and a giant tv at the back wall. The kitchen is slower due to all the DoorDash and delivery pickups.

THE BIG: This Gott's location is inside the Ferry building of San Francisco. No seating as it's mainly order to go type fare. Limited parking, rideshare is the best way to get here. THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came to the Ferry building to do all the tourist things and saw straus vanilla ice cream being sold. I bought a gallon of the straus milk earlier that day and loved the taste. Fortunately there wasn't a big of a line and we got a cone of the vanilla ice cream. Super creamy and decadent. I'd have two if it wasn't a sin to have two. Gott's also sells burgers which didn't sound too appetizing but I do recommend the ice cream. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall for a cone of the vanilla straus ice cream, the damage done was around $5. Ice cream was super delicious and def be back to try more stuff.

Inside, though, the brewery keeps its own identity and focus. They don't offer a huge beer list, but what they do brew is very, very good. The emphasis is clearly on quality over quantity. The beers are exceptionally well balanced and thoughtfully crafted. My favorite was the dark beer Old Time Bock & Roll, a collaboration with Armistice Brewing Company. This Double Decocted Doppelbock is smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced -- a real Doppelbock in the traditional sense. Deep malt character, rounded body, structured yet easy to drink. Exactly what the style should be. The beer was served properly, at the right temperature but not in the correct glassware, by a cordial and enthusiastic staff member who clearly enjoys what they're pouring. That attention to service makes a difference. Overall, a great brewery stop in a very touristic area -- focused selection, excellent balance, and beers brewed with real respect for style. I'll definitely return for another Doppelbock.

The bartender wasn't super busy either. The drinks were hit or miss, espresso martini they had on the menu is probably premade bc I asked to change the liquor and he said I wouldn't be getting the one that's on the menu.
