I'm trull disappointed! We have eaten at this establishment several times and received excellent service and good food. However, this time we got our order and noticed that my husband's and my home fries ha hair in it! We discreetly called the waitress over and pointed it out. Instead of apologizing and offered to change it out; she attempted to try and convince us it was just egg. Crispy fired egg string ing home fries. Nothing was terrible but nothing was great. Party of 4 seated in one of the smallest booths but we made it work. Food was out pretty quick and the coffee came around often. Well, I can honestly say I've been here maybe 5xs since living in Lancaster.. I don't know about you but the shouting between co-works makes it a very unpleasant atmosphere to try to enjoy a meal. My son (14) also felt uncomfortable with the waitresses arguing amongst each other (bad words in between) was very annoying and uncomfortable and even though there were short staffed they could have swung by and asked if we were doing ok or needed anything, in which we did. ... they need to go behind closed doors to discuss whatever they need to without the customers hearing their shouting and profanity within their work place. Parking spaces are good size. I used to drive by and never been inside but when I was searching for the prime ribs, this place came up on the Yelp. Ever since then, I try to come here on the weekends. They always provide great services. I love their weekend special, biscuits and gravy are yummy. I am not a fan of hush brown but the one serves here is very good. I love Prime Ribs and they make it perfect for me, rare. Make sure to come with a complete empty stomach because you will need the room to finish a plate. The plates are for like 2 to 3 people lol we had a party of 35 and they were 3 ladies helping us. All of the we're super helpful and got no issues with the ordering. They have a huge range of food we did come during breakfast so most of us had breakfast. This was my first time here but o had a few people st the table said they go here all the time so they helped with the recommendations. As you can see the plates are huge and filling. The biscuits and gravy is very Delicious. After that o didn't even have any more room for my main dish. But there was will power and o made sure o jade like 80% of all me food. On our way to Mammoth, we wanted brunch and Otto's caught our attention. When you walk in, you are instantly transferred into a weird train, truck stop, antique store, old fashion diner atmosphere. I mean, the outside looks old and shady, inside you have a couple booths with red laminated sofas and table tops are laminated advertisements of services ranging from law practices to eye surgery. I knew we were in for a treat. Service, very friendly people. Food, breakfast alone the menu is immense. Omelets, regular breakfast, burritos, pancakes, french toast, waffles, you think it, they probably have it. Rancheros? Yes. Eggs Benedict? Yup. Anything, they got it! My friends got waffles and french toast. I went off the road and got what they call "Hobo Eggs". Eggs, peppers, cheese, mushrooms, hash brown. Uhh, yes that's everything I love, why wouldn't I get it? Add some sausage for $3.50? Yes please! What I didn't consider was the size of this behemoth! When I got it, I knew I wasn't capable of finishing this thing. Unless you have starved yourself for 2 days, would you be able to finish it. It literally could of been my breakfast, lunch, dinner, and breakfast again. It also came with biscuit and gravy, which I might add was delicious! I sampled my friends waffles and they were light and fluffy. Otto's also does things a bit different with their sausage. It is a sausage patty, but fat, like a quarter pounder. Juicy, but there is a theme of grand size at this joint. There is also some spectacular thing that they do when ever a train passes, or some on the hour thing that they emulate a train? I honestly couldn't tell, but whatever, when this occurs, they spin a wheel and which ever table number it lands on, your meal is free! That is some wicked goodness! Don't bother with a special order. You'll get it how they want to serve it. I ordered hash browns, very well done and crispy. They came slightly browned on top, otherwise they were totally white and only warm as if the potatoes were boiled them cut into strips and thrown on the grill for a couple minutes. Second time I have dined here with my buddy. This time we both ordered their "Build Your Own Omelette" with up to five ingredients for $15.95b per order. Cheese is counted as one of the ingredients. The other four ingredients I ordered were....burger meat , ham , sausage, and bacon . We both also added chorizo for ADDITIONAL charge. I recommend that since it was worth it. Omelette was HUGE (see my photo), and hash brown portion was big as well. I was only able to finish hash brown and half of my omelette. The other half omelette, I got a to-go box and ate it at work the next day. That half portion was still big enough to keep me full for the 8 hours I was at work. They accept Master, Visa and Discover credit cards so I was very happy. read more

We're staying at Palmdale and found this place with good reviews on Yelp. Very busy but we were served quick, my eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce was amazing, but both eggs were completely hard boiled and not runny at all, I brought it up to the waitress and she agreed it was suppose to be poached and not hard boiled, but I still ate it all because the hollandaise was amazing, up there in my 40+ years of various restaurants. My daughter was really looking forward to the pancakes with fruit but they were out of fruit completely. Regardless with either issue I still wanted to give it high stars because it was a very good restaurant and we'll be back. read more

I like Crazy Otto's. As a matter of fact, I like it a lot. The service is always friendly, the food is always excellent, and it is just a fun place to eat. The portions are HUGE HUGE HUGE though, so go with a very empty stomach and be prepared to take leftovers home with you. My one complaint will not seem like a complaint to most people. The are a little too generous with the meat. Yeah...I know...that is not a REAL complaint. I am just not a big meat eater and the BREAKFAST BURRITO (which is my favorite thing on the menu) is so loaded with meat that if I ever actually ate the whole thing the way it is served, I think I might die of a stroke before I left my table. So I order my burrito sans the meat and get a giant tortilla filled with eggs, cheese, green chilies (which are just the right heat level), and sauteed onions. the Hubs always gets the eggs and bacon, which also looks like enough for 3 people, but he always manages to eat every bite: Singing the praises of his plate the entire meal. The Little One gets the "Kid's pancake" that I swear on my grandmother's grave is as big as she! Okay, so here's the scoop. Food served is really pretty looking in a homemade sort of way, it's very plentiful, and in fact I'd describe the serving size as massive. It should be, because our breakfast for two was almost $29. We're normally big tippers, but not today! The restaurant has quite a bit of charm, and is sort of fun, and the wait staff is sometimes good, too--today she took our order, put it on the table with the check, and then we never saw her again! On the other hand, in terms of quality, the seasoning and overall taste profile just isn't there. I put a ton of hot sauce on my Machaca and eggs, and it still just wasn't enough to give it the Mexican tasting profile that I had been craving. Where's the salt, heat, and herbs and spices? There was a table available and nobody after us but they would only seat us once our 4th person showed up so we had to wait outside in the cold. The service is overall friendly and the servers worked together. I'm rating it a 2 because I ordered a Turkey and Cheese omelette and the turkey tasted very old and not good. Also when we asked to split the bill, the server seemed confused and somewhat annoyed. The rest of my party seemed to enjoy their food. I wouldn't recommend anything with turkey. I don't eat pork so my options were limited and I felt it was too early for a prime rib. Serving sizes are very large. The atmosphere is nice. If you're from the Antelope Valley then you know that this is our "Hometown" breakfast spot. This is where you go if Denny's & IHOP just ain't for you. This is where I go because let's admit, our choices for a good breakfast out here are pretty slim. Before I get started there are a couple minor inconveniences: 1. Make sure your whole party is present before going in. Even if there are seats available they won't seat you until everyone is accounted for. I think that this is fair game, others probably not. 2. Parking is really limited but there is an empty dirt lot in the back that you can use too. If you can get past those two little things then you can enjoy a good, hearty, HUGE breakfast here! Seriously, their portions here are huge! I've got to try just about everything here and it's all just about good eats. If you're feeling "adventurous" I would recommend the Machaca & Eggs breakfast. This meal can feed a family of 4 and it's delicious! #winning The biscuits and gravy here are also delish. Ask for them to split your biscuits in half (horizontally) this way the 2 biscuits become this whole plate filled with carbs and creamy country gravy all over HALLELUYAHHHH. Great customer service! Mainly giving it 5 stars because of the kind staff. I'm not sure if he's the owner or manager but he is so welcoming and kind! The other guy refilling the drinks could be nicer though. The prime rib was amazing! Pancakes was awesome as well! Not a big fan of the gravy they use with their biscuits and hash browns weren't crispy (needed more seasoning). We went back a second time and had a crispy chicken salad and french fries...10/10! So yummy! If you order breakfast I would suggest ordering fries they're way better then hash browns.
