When this place first opened I enjoyed their food. My whole family and I would come and get food. However, the last couple of times I came here the food quality was not the greatest. The last time I came and probably the last I was extremely disappointed. For almost 30$ I got fries which were soggy, and my rib eye sandwich was half fat. I ordered a milkshake and I think either the ice cream was old or the milkshake was made with ice because it was like drinking a icee and was not creamy at all but watery. There have been a couple of times where they forgot to give me my drink and I drove away. Just disappointed, and for that amount of money I shouldn't be. I'm so surprised ! The food my family and I had was really good. I'm reviewing this from a fast food perspective not fine dining. I had the Denver's omelette. It was o.k. It was not fluffy. The inside was perfect and tasty but the outside was a little overcooked. The home fries were delicious. The toast was just the way I like it. I had a caramel Frappuccino that was like dessert for me. I shared a side of fried zucchini with my husband and daughter and we still had left-overs. They give you sooo much of everything. I gave this joint a try before posting this. The first time, I only got a burger combo and although the fries were delicious, my burger was plain and without seasoning. I came back a few days later and just ordered an asada burrito with green salsa, that was delicious and the burrito was a good size for one person. I came back a couple days later with my husband. I got a huevos rancheros plate and he got the menudo. Both plates were delicious and a big portion and the price was just as great! The ladies who work here are also so friendly and funny, and always welcomed us when we came in. So far I've had a chili burger, a DJ's burger, chicken strips, fries, onion rings, milkshakes and a cheeseburger. (Their burger buns are pretty weak, but everything else is real good) Real mom and pop. One comment on here said they're not good enough to compete with the nearby McDonalds. I went there my first time and had a great experience. The cashier was very friendly and suggested that I could get their special value meal that included a ham McMuffin. I was very pleased and told my roommate I found a new spot to frequent . However on my next visit a day later I was not pleased. The cashier was not nice and when I tried ordering the exact same meal I had previously told me that it only came with sausage and that they didn't make substitutions. Food is avg to downright awful. I first visited this place soon after it opened and ordered some cheeseburgers. They tasted bland and on par with typical burger joints you find on any street USA. It actually made me miss the Whopper, as the previous tenant was Burger King. Second time I visited I ordered a steak dinner which was pretty expensive at around $14. I got something that was suppose to be steak but resembled a cheap gray burger patty instead. And it tasted a lot worse than it looked. In fact, the dollar steak at the Dollar Store tastes more like real steak than this. It was so disgusting, I ended up giving it to my dogs. I wish I could find the photo I took of it cause it was truly awful. The included onion rings and salad were decent though. I actually wanted to order soup but the rude employee wouldn't let me. I was hoping I didn't have to drive to Palmdale to get my filling of steak dinner at the much better Tom's Burgers, but I guess I have no choice since this place doesn't know how to make decent steaks. read more
