My server was an nice, little older lady. She was sweet as could be. The decor and atmosphere were perfect. The food was subpar. The steak was cooked to perfection. Wait, I mean the fat was cooked to perfection. When I pay nearly $30 for a steak, I don't want it to have a ton of fat. That is what I got for my dinner. Overall, if you can afford it, the food is decent. However, expect a lot of fat.

Simple location for a quick decent meal on the road. Excellent service from Yesenia. She was quick, efficient and food came out hot and to our liking. We ordered a tuna melt; pancakes and the roadhouse burger with drinks overall decent price for a meal.

Whenever we travel towards the San Bernardino area or towards Vegas we also stop at this diner for some reason. You can't ask for better service. We're always and I mean always greeted with smiles and good cheer. The restaurant is always clean. The food has a home cooked feel to it. I always get my food the way I ask. So no complaints here. So next time you're out in Kramer junction stop by and have breakfast, lunch or dinner or nice homemade bakery item.

    Spaghetti with meat sauce

Stopped with some trepidation on a Sunday evening, not a soul in the place Ordered the burrito and spaghetti How can you go wrong with that I've never had spaghetti with pineapple pieces at first bite it tasted like the sauce was *salsa" the kind you use for chips. The meat in the sauce was very tiny pieces of what looked to be meatloaf After the initial shock on the taste , being hungry and with no other options insight proceeded to eat. The burrito was large but not quality. The carne asada was not top quality was a bit tough, and at first bite had a little tang With guacamole and sour cream on top it helped certainly not one of the best but could have been worst Personally I would not eat here again The service was good, waitress was very nice, but the food

Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel Yeah, we're goin' to the Roadhouse We're gonna have a real Good time!! This probably wasn't the Roadhouse Jim Morrison was singing about in The Doors classic rock song, Roadhouse Blues, but who knows? I will tell you what I know about this place, though. It's my favorite stop on my frequent road trips to Las Vegas. I've been a loyal customer for nigh on to twenty years. Highway 58 used to take you right to the front door. But ever since they "improved" Highway 58, most trafiic whizzes by this cool little restaurant. You practically can't even see it from the highway now. So what makes this my favorite place to stop on my journeys across the desert? First off, this place is a like a big slice of American Pie. It has that old school diner vibe, with cozy booths and also counter seating. The waitresses are almost my favorite part of each visit. I just love those wonderful ladies! The waitresses here look the part, too. The whole restaurant looks like something from a Hollywood movie. The waitresses look they were sent from Central Casting. But they're not actors, they're the Real Deal. Now, in case you've never worked in a restaurant, let me tell you, it's gruelling work. Sometimes the waitresses here might seem a little curt or less friendly than you might expect. You need to have a little perspective, OK? If you're going to be the kind of customer that gets offended because you weren't greeted immediately and fawned over, get over yourself. Yeah, sometimes you have to seat yourself. Big whoop. Let me also add that the restrooms are dated, but in good repair and always very clean. There aren't that many places to stop between Mojave and Barstow, and more than once this place has saved me from an unspeakable fate. I have had many meals here. To be perfectly honest, some were good, some not so good. It all seems to come down to what you order. I have a peculiar knack for ordering the wrong thing, so I'm not going to give you any insight about what to order. But reading other reviews will give you more information about what's good on the menu, meal wise. What makes this a Must Stop Here place for me are the empanadas. Oh my god, you have to try these empanadas! They make two kinds, apple and pineapple. The apple empanadas are very good. But the pineapple empanadas absolutely kick ass. The pastry is so tender, so flaky. The dusting of cinnamon sugar on top gives the empanada a little bit of a crunch. And the pineapple filling is just the right combination of sweet and tart. In addition to the empanadas, there are a lot of other very attractive pastries in the little case next to the register. I always say, someday I'm going to try this one or that one, but I never do. I'm true blue. I always, always get the pineapple! The secret is, they're made in house. There's a Mom or a Grandma back there in the kitchen making these magnificent empanadas by hand. Again, I'm talking about the Real Deal here! If you stop by and get your empanadas to go, like I usually do, you can ask for them to heat the empanadas up for you. They're a million times better heated than straight out of the pastry case, so don't forget to ask for them to warm them empanadas up! One last thing: we all know how important it is to support local, independent businesses, especially in these weird (almost) post-Covid times. If you find yourself on Highway 58, please stop in here and spend some dough. We simply can't afford to lose any more of these pieces of genuine Americana. My wife liked the tortilla soup, but the spaghetti and meatballs wear subpar. Now I guess, I shouldn't expect good Italian food from basically a sports bar but I'll have to say it just was relatively bland. I ordered the habanero pineapple boneless wings thinking they would be spicy-- they were not. Now I will admit, I've gotten used to hot sauce so maybe that's why they weren't that spicy. I'm not sure if they're supposed to be soft, but the boneless wings were not crispy, maybe the sauce made the better soft. But, I did not like it, I was expecting more crispy. But again, maybe is this is the way that they're served. The ambience is okay it's a sports bar. Kind of small as well but very busy. The service was great. I was greeted within less than 2 minutes from sitting down, and I had multiple servers taking care of my table. So definitely they're not lacking in service. I just think since the last time I went there and this time the quality of food has diminished.

Hello, First off, I…read morehave to say that we absolutely love your place! We have been customers for several years. I feel like we need to bring this to your attention. Me and my husband, along with the a group of friends were in your place of business last Saturday night to watch Red Rabbit, who we love and follow. Around 12 or 1230 we noticed some commotion at the bar. Much to our surprise, your "new manager" was causing quite the issue with his boyfriend. Earlier in the night, he seemed to be actually managing the bar, however, at this time he was what seemed to be belligerent drunk. This went on for some time, even continuing out to the patio with customers trying to end the chaos. He was cussing, yelling at his boyfriend and demanding the Bartender serve him another drink. Once his boyfriend, was able to get him to leave, we even witnessed him punching a chair on his way out of the bar! I don't know the owners of this bar. I think they would like to know what happens when they are not there. This place used to be a great place to hang out with family and friends. This is not the first time we've witnessed drunk behavior from this manager. I have to say,, your Bar has a couple really good bartenders. And that is a reason we continue to come back. If this is the way the new vibe is in this bar, we will find another place to hang out. I truly hope that it gets handled. It is not fair to the customers, nor the rest of your staff.

The waitresses are easy going, friendly, and very on top of checking on diners & keeping our drinks full. On our very first visit, our waitress recommended the freshly made potato chips that come with house made bleu cheese and/or ranch and they are AMAZING!! It's the first thing we order and it's something we crave. Breakfast is served all day. At our latest visit, we had a feast. We started with the chips we'd been craving, had the Grilled BLT burger, Classic Eggs Benedict, and finished it all with coconut cream pie and apple pie à la mode. SO GOOD!! Considering the generous entree portions AND our scrumptious desserts, we took half of the chips and dressing home. (And they reheated beautifully in the air fryer!) My oldest daughter has a hard time ordering and got flustered when it was her turn.
